They've got a lot of absentee ballots to count, but it appears the clubs may have sqeaked this one out. Apparently, they were doing more than we thought that they were doing.

Let's hope the results stand. :thumbsup:Hopefully so.
Hopefully the mayor also backs off a bit now, I'm not too optimistic about that though. It does seem that some of the council members have heard the publics voice though so that's a good thing. The voters also just saved the city a boatload of legal fees (and tax dollars that can be better spent elsewhere) because the clubs had vowed to fight this as long as possible.
You really have to look at why this mayor is backing this bill to begin with. What is in it for her to support it?
Arizona is gradually changing. Old white money has always dominated the state, but with the increasing population growth from faster paced established cities, people are driving faster there now. Non Mormons probably outnumber the Mormons in Mesa. It is also become much more racially diverse, and the combination of these 2 factors is causing the Phoenix Metro area's fear of being another LA to be unavoidable.
It has been said that in the near future, the Republican majority in the state, esp Phoenix, will be reversed more comparably to Las Vegas. We all know Las Vegas is a blue city. Denver is supposedly headed in this direction as well.
When I mentioned the cities of Phoenix and Denver, I meant to say the entire metro areas of those cities, not just the cities of Phoenix and Denver alone.

I don't attribute the clubs' apparent victory to changing voter demographics. I attribute it to that the fact that some of the very people we've been castigating as being uptight puritans (you know, those evil Republicans) more than likely voted against the ordinance. Why? Because deep down keeping the clubs is what they wanted. Unlike showing one's face at a city council meeting, casting a ballot is a private matter.
I have theorized for some time now that in local government, those who are elected to office and the interest groups who put them there have a deep disconnect with the constituency as a whole. It's not all that hard for such to happen when better than three quarters of the eligible voters in cities around the country don't bother to do their civic duty when it is time to. What happened in Scottsdale just proves my theory correct.

I think some of the more moderates amongst them may have had enough though and I thank them for it.

Things just seem broken, too little participation by the masses, too much power for special interests, I don't think this is what was envisioned by the founding fathers.
Oh, and for the record, I'm just as tired of the far left as the far right.
Sorry, feel free to delete if that was too poo-ish.

Yes, it is changing, but very slowly. Select members of the established guard have gone far to the right to maintain their base of active voters. Too many of the newbie transplants forget to register to vote and are unaware of how backwards many of the homegrown Goldwater worshipers are.

When I use the term liberal I don't use it in the sense that Republicans do. A liberal person to me is what every decent person should be. Respectful of other peoples differences, not prejudiced, and comfortable living in a neighborhood mixed with all races of people, open to change, and aware that the past cannot be revived. A liberal person is not brainwashed by old religious mores, and realizes it is futile to force other people to live as he/she does.
Therefore I also agree that us liberal people who are deemed the "far left" by the demons running this country are much to blame for the hole we find ourselves in. When the conservatives come at you with guns, you don't try to fight them off with your fists. This bunch running this country has been plotting and chipping away at being in a position to be able to attempt to change this country through political means, and us liberal people weren't keeping up with them and allowed them to gain ground.
And the new transplants to the Phoenix area most likely aren't registering to vote and actually voting as they should. We could beat these crazy and greedy conservatives at the punch if we would utilize the voting process as they do in order to strike them down.
And if the politicans see that supporting the conservative religious freaks is going to cost them votes, them will be more likely to side with us liberal people (as long as we keep them well funded).
Richard Head, your comment about Goldwater is too funny, but in reality is reaaaly sad. :'(

I try to make it a point to never discuss politics on boards related to sports or stripping, etc., but I just couldn't let this comment pass.
So, Tina, by your own definition, anyone who isn't a "liberal" is not decent? Too bad you didn't include narrowminded, tunnel-visioned or hypocritical in your definition, too, as they clearly dovetail nicely with your above comment.

"I want it to be as strict as possible," resident Betty Shay said after voting at the Paiute Neighborhood Center. "It's not as if these businesses don't have somewhere else to go - like the bottom of a mine shaft."Uh, can someone just throw this self-righteous bitch down that mine shaft???
"We remain cautiously optimistic but we understand the numbers," said John Nichols, chairman of the Yeson401.com coalition.
Nichols said he respects the voters, but also chalked a lot of the results up to confusion.
"I talked to any number of voters that thought a 'no' vote was a positive vote for us and may have misunderstood," Nichols said.So this Nichols guy thinks that alot of people voted NO out of confusion? Is he calling his supporters stupid? Because I might agree with him there... ;D
Scottsdale residents who voted "no" told the Tribune their decision was primarily based on the City Council's handling of the situation and the belief council members should not be overregulating business, even ones they may not personally support.Hallelujah!!!

Actually, I think Goldwater would be considered a democrat by many of the current group of state Republicans.
Actually, for those of us who actually studied the history of Goldwater's political views, this is true. He was actually considered to be quite forward thinking and liberal until his race for the Presidency when he tried to appeal to the new base of what is now 'neoconservatives'.
Unfortunately, his trust fund backed research institute publishes a bunch of neoconservative bull and I'm sure he's turned over in his grave a few hundred times. And his kids are all too screwed up and ineffectual to correct things.
And I'm sorry Chili, but you seem to put yourself squarely in the midst of the whitebread ignorant neoconservative class that buys his pork rinds at WalMart and hates Muslims just to prove he "supports our troops".
"Good job, Buckey!" - Great Play!!! Here's another sticker for your helmet!!!

So this Nichols guy thinks that alot of people voted NO out of confusion? Is he calling his supporters stupid? Because I might agree with him there... ;D No doubt.
From my sample ballot:
A "yes" vote shall have the effect of approving Ordinance No. 3658, as adopted by the city council, which changes the Scottsdale Revised Code as it relates to sexually oriented businesses.
A "no" vote shall have the effect of disapproving Ordinance No. 3658, as adopted by the city council, and retaining the current regulations as they relate to sexually oriented businesses, including the new regulation in Ordinance No. 3658 that were not referred to the ballot.
Not confusing at all if you READ the ballot.....or saw any of the many tv commercials......or saw the campaign signs up and down every major road.....or read any local newspaper........or watched the news......or listened to the radio......or listened while attending church service (I assume?). If anyone voted wrong they are just stupid and shouldn't be voting anyways.

Actually, I think Goldwater would be considered a democrat by many of the current group of state Republicans.probably, because back in his day. the party wasn't co-opted by religious conservatives.
OK, enough of this blather about the Snottsdale ordinance and elections....time for an Arizona trip report to one of Phoenix's nicer little haunts, BSC, or Bourbon Street Circus for short. Last week I had occasion to trek northward (technically westward) up I-10 to the center of the universe for the day. On this day I decided to skip my usual stop at the HiLiter and my ATF, and headed straight for BSC just after lunch. Sometimes you just want something different.....
The first thing you notice about BSC when coming in from the daytime sun is that it is dark, really dark. Darker than most clubs, at least it seemed that way to me. I got my eyes adjusted and landed on one of those little love seats against the wall past the main stage. This spot gives you a great view of the stage, while scoping out the floor, and seeing who's coming in the door. I've had several nice dayshift visits to BSC over the last several months, and CP has been raving about their dayshift as well, so I had good expectations.
I quickly spied multiple VIP prospects while scanning the club, including a dancer (Ms. J) that I had seen a couple of times before. This girl is just freakin hot, with an ethnic mix of black, white, and hispanic. Relatively tall, maybe 5'7" or so with eyes and a smile that could melt the polar ice caps. Smooth light caramel skin with awesome curves. I had just sat down when she came by, so I declined her offer for a dance right then, but told her I definitely wanted her to come back (and hoped I hadn't made a mistake). A few songs later a very cute petite curly blonde with some nice enhancements went on stage (Ms. R). I went up to tip her, and she asked if I was ready to have boobs in my face. But of course! She came over after finishing her two song stage set, and I suggested relocation to the VIP area. The VIP area at BSC is in a slightly elevated area in the back, and consists of several little love seat benches, separated by partitions. It's not as private as the VIP room at Centerfolds, or in Tucson clubs, but on the other hand, BSC doesn't charge a $20 cover just to go in, so the reasonable illusion of privacy is completely acceptable.
I chatted a bit with Ms. R and learned that she was a former bartender that figured out she could make a lot more dancing than pouring drinks, so she made the jump a few months ago. She's in her 30s, but looks just awesome. She gave me some nice dances with decent contact, especially stroking my face with her enhancements and large nipples. I make it a rule (unless explicitly invited otherwise...) to keep my lips closed during dances, but her nipple action made it very difficult to keep my tongue corralled. I managed to stay the course and dismissed Ms. R back to the main floor after a couple of dances, and went back to my seat to scope out other talent.
As luck would have it, Ms J. came on stage just as I got back to my seat, so I tipped her and asked her to come see me. Although the daytime crowd was sparse, she got lots of stage tips during her set. Still, she came immediately my way after getting off stage, god I love that. That simple act of coming straight to me after her set is what sets apart the dayshift at BSC from the nightshift. On nightshift, she would have two more stages to rotate through, and would then disappear into the dressing room, never to be seen again. Before she could sit down with me I stood up and made a beeline with her to the VIP area. Ms. J is very friendly and provides a great close contact VIP dance. Her ethnic mix, especially her eyes, smile, and caramel skin, is just intoxicating. I enjoyed several songs with her before again heading back to my main floor roost, feeling woozy from Ms. J's efforts, but still ready to audition more of the BSC talent pool.
While watching Ms. J on stage before, I had turned down a very cute brunette latina with a giant smile. I was intrigued because I recognized her stage name (Ms. S) as a regular poster on stripclublist.com (and I think here as well) so I was glad that she snuck up behind me and said hello a second time. I gladly headed back for my third VIP excursion, and asked her as we walked back if she was the same Ms. S that was online all the time. She said no, which kind of surprised me, but I decided not to push it. She started her dance, and although she's gorgeous, I thought it was a little tame for the VIP area. Based on these signals, I decided to play it safe and not do any hand wandering or push any other boundaries. About a third of the way through the song, she asked me "are you working right now?". The question caught me off-guard. Since I had a business meeting earlier that day, was dressed business casual, and planned to go back to my office, I responded "well sort of, but not right now". As soon as I said this, it occurred to me that perhaps her question was to determine if I was "working" as LE, especially since I had not initiated any direct hand contact during her dance. Maybe this spooked her and she thought I was looking to ticket her if she got too frisky in the VIP area. In any event, this little interchange killed the mood, so I stopped her after one dance. She seemed completely happy to stop after one song, and almost bolted back out to the main floor. Strange.
Back on the main floor I was joined by a very cute little black dancer (Ms. N). She was wearing a black skin tight outfit, sort of like catwoman. Very pretty face, but small frame (read small tits). She sat and chatted for awhile, and I knew she was going to hit me up for a dance eventually. I told her I wasn't interested in a dance, and she should feel free to move to other custys, but she was welcome to stay and chat if she wanted. She seemed to appreciate my honesty, and sat with me for a few more songs. She went to the dressing room for awhile, and came back with her outfit considerably reduced down to just a bra and thong. She had been so nice to talk with that I decided to get a couple of dances from her. She had a nice sensual technique, especially her lap grind which consisted of her sort of walking her ass cheeks up and down my crotch. Very nice technique indeed!
After a couple of hours of fun, I decided I had to hit the freeway before it became a parking lot, and head back to my office. I felt a little tinge of guilt and regret for not stopping at the HL to see my all time ATF (that's from the department of redundancy department), but my alternate dayshift visit to BSC proved to be a great change of pace. Check it out! 8)

I'm all for an occassional change of pace ;D.
I haven't strayed from the HL during the daytime in awhile but....the doormen there are really getting annoying, and they haven't had any draft beer available lately (typically 2 for $4 during the daytime as opposed to the $4-5 bottles of beer). I know, minor annoyances but still irritating when you're not used to them.

Yep, the doormen at HL eventually chased me out of the club. I got tired of having them step on my feet while I was getting a dance or blocking the view of the stage.
But it is still better for me than the BSC. It sounds like AZDD had a rare trip when 99% of the gals weren't blonde amazons with bolt-ons. For me the $9 cover charge is a little high for the rather blaze' atmosphere. Wayyy too whitebread for me.

There is no cover during dayshift at BSC (and you get free popcorn!). In fact, I think both Christie's are the only local clubs that charge a cover during the day. Also, my impression is that BSC's dayshift dancers are for the most part nothing like their nightshift dancers. I think the blonde amazon bolt-ons are much more common on the nightshift, pretty much anywhere you go. I like blondes with bolt-ons as much as anyone, but this day at BSC was a nice change, for a change! One other comment about BSC, that depending on your point of view may be good or bad, but it is MUCH less crowded during the day than the Hi-Liter. There were maybe 20 customers when I was there, and on a typical day at the HL there will 3 - 4 times that many. Result: At BSC you can sit wherever you damn well please, and don't have anyone hovering for a tip to walk you to your seat!
I agree with RH about the door guys at HL becoming an annoyance. My experience is that it varies significantly from one day to the next. One day there will be five guys seating custys, and generally being a pain in the ass, and the next day there will be one. They probably staff more on Fridays (payday for many), or when they expect a larger crowd for some reason.
Azcustomer's comment about getting trampled during dances at the HL is very accurate. The prime seating along the wall is really only prime at the east and west ends, and especially at the corners. In between, the aisle is just not wide enough to accomodate LD action and the constant traffic of bouncers, waitresses, other dancers, and custys heading for the john. I refuse to sit in the middle section for exactly this reason.

azdd: There is a 6'1" Russian dancer, simply stunning. Long curly hair, A-cups, perfect complexion. Should be on the cover of Vogue. Seriously. Take her directly to VIP. She also gave me the SS line of the year while in my lap, probably earned her an extra Franklin. When you're done with her, try Justice, a curvy African Amercian dancer who gives about as much soft, continuous grinding and accessibility as any dancer in Phoenix. And don't worry about Nicki; she'll still have a line of fuckoes waiting for her at HL. :D

Thanks for the intel CP! The lovely Ms. J in my trip report was Justice, and your description is right on! I'll have to make a point to seek out your Russian diplomat to further international relations.
And you are sooo right about Ms. Nicki. I love that girl like no other but her popularity is catching up with her. She always makes time for me, and gives me her complete attention, but I can't help but realize there is always another regular sitting there somewhere, watching us, hoping that the lapdance she is performing for me will be our last, so they can be next. I know this because I have been that guy, many times before.......

Time to bump up the AZ thread ;). I found a couple interesting tidbits worth sharing.
NewTimes again shows they don't know strip clubs. Their choice for Best Strip Club in Phoenix this year is The Pin Up Girl Lounge /:O. Last year they picked the Penthouse Club /:O.

The final numbers for the Scottsdale vote to ban lap dances are in (voted down 52% to 48%) and what I find amusing is that the area of town that showed the strongest support for the clubs were the areas closest to the clubs (so much for the secondary effects argument huh?).

Is there any doubt the New Times best SC choice is based on who's paid them the most?
I LOVE the fact that the biggest SC support in the Snottsdale vote was in the immediate vicinity of the clubs ;D I wish this little tidbit would get plastered on billboards all over the country right next to a picture/name of the dipshit that keeps selling that line of "secondary effects" crap to the masses, bent over with a voters ballot right up his ass.
The Pin Up Girl Lounge ironically is for sale. I posted the ad on Stripping General.

Yeah I was just thinking they probably bought the New Times Best StripClub thing to boost their image for the impending sale.
Yeah I was just thinking they probably bought the New Times Best StripClub thing to boost their image for the impending sale.
Yeah, how lucky is that.....::)
It seems to me that the only people that might even care about the rating would be out-of-town visitors or newbies looking for a club that have no local club experience and haven't done any research. I guess this probably does generate a revenue spike for the "chosen" club, but regulars don't pay any attention, and will keep going back to their familiar haunts unless they hear about a specific reason to go somewhere new, usually in the form of reports of better looking ladies, cheaper dances, cheaper drinks, and above all else, higher mileage. Being rated "best strip club" offers none of these, which is why nobody cares.
We can't have the Arizona clubs thread sink into second page obscurity, so call this a comfort bump to set our minds at ease. Sorry for the state of panic that was induced by thread splitting! I'm happy again. :D
Now, let's get out there, spend some money, and report our adventures!
OK, time for an Arizona TR. I stopped into Ten's Showclub in Tucson earlier today and got re-aquainted with a dancer I hadn't seen in about 6 months. For a variety of reasons, my club visits have been down for the last few months, with almost no visits to Tucson clubs. They had just had their 15th anniversary party a few days ago, and there have been some pinkie posts about this club, so I thought it was time for a return visit. Ten's is a nice medium size club on East Speedway between Swan and Craycroft. There is one main floor stage and an upstairs VIP room with leather sofas. I used to be a semi-regular of a gal that I affectionately call Big D, and I was very happy when the doorguy told me she was working. He must have sent her my way because she showed up at my table almost as soon as I sat down, wanting to catch up. Big D is a total MILF, mid-thirties, with brunette hair mid-back, and amazing, amazing SS skills. I think her face and smile look a lot like Ellen Pompeo on Grey's Anatomy, but Big D is much more woman, with much larger curves in all the right places. I have fallen into her bucket of SS many times, happily paddling around, knowing I'm swimming in it, and still going back for more. Great SS makes a great LD session so much better.
After a little meaningless chit-chat, we started on the main floor with a couple of dances, but she told me how they had remodeled the VIP space to make it much more private, so I bit and followed her up the stairs. I paid the $10 cover, and joined Big D on one of the plush leather sofas. They have indeed added some draperies and wall panels so the area is much more closed off from the main club. If you could have the space alone with your fave dancer, it would be extremely private. On this day, I was disappointed to see a couple other fuckoes on the other sofas, but they were spread out enough that I decided it would be OK. A couple of years ago, in another club, Big D had allowed me to engage in all manner of exploration, but I've been much more polite lately. After about the third song of her trying to push her nipple between my closed lips, I told her that I had a very disciplined tongue, and he never came out in a club unless explicitly invited. She laughed at my comment, and said "well consider this my invitation!". She then proceeded to softly bite and suck on my lower lip, and slip in a little LFK. The next trip those nips made by my mouth turned into an extended stay slobberfest.:P Since we weren't alone, I resisted the temptation for southern exploration, and stayed mostly in the north country. We spent the next handful of songs engaged in various levels of mutual hand and tongue massage long enough to get me re-hooked on her SS, and looking forward to a swift return visit. Note to self: On your next trip to Big D, go early in the day so you can have the VIP room all to yourself! }:D

Sounds like a good time azdd !
Looks like they built a club over on the west side not far from the new stadium/arena. I don't get to the west side of town much but building close to the stadium/arena/westgate area sounds like a good idea.
Anyone been there? Is it even open yet?

A quickie TR...
Made a pitstop at Hi-Liter Friday afternoon after work (yeah, I had to fucken work Friday). Place was crowded, took a seat at the bar as I didn't really plan on getting any laps this trip. The advantage to a bar seat is the ability to watch the dancers as they arrive walk right by you.
A very cute Britney-esque (pre-K-Fed) blonde walked in, and her losse fitting top couldn't hide what appeared to be some very significant chestal protuberances. I decided to wait for her to come out of the back. When she did, dressed in a skintight pink outfit, I made eye contact with her and smiled. She walked up to me, chatted for a moment, then asked if I wanted to dance. I told her if she could find a spot on the wall, I was all hers. We found a spot, she got comfy on my lap as we waited for the next song to start.
Her name was Tina, and she's been here a month after coming here from Massachusetts, where she danced at a club called Ten's in Salisbury. The body was incredible: a tiny, petite blonde with what appeared to be natural F-cup breasts, which were classic hangers that practically covered her entire lower torso. Sound familiar to any of you New England junkies?
Sadly, her laps are, in a word, lame. We did one song, where she told me no touching was allowed at all, then she got called to the stage, promising to return. She indicated that more was allowed in the VIP room, so I thought I'd take one for the team to investigate. True, I got to touch her on her legs, back, waist, etc., but nothing else. She offered a semi-decent mild grind, some mild Stevie Wonders but that's about it. My curiosity satisfied, we stopped after the 3-lap minimum.
It'll be interesting to see how she changes in the coming months. I don't think her act is going to play well in a club where at least mild/moderate 2-way fondling is the norm.

in a high volume club with apparently a song minimum for VIP, i somehow doubt a blonde with giant natural boobs is going to have a problem earning a living. of course, if she is as legendarily lazy as many dancers can be, it is a different story.

A day in the life...
Had a rare Friday available, and I decided to take full advantage.
To set up, on a previous Sunday, I'd met a stunning Latina with D+'s, VIP'd her and arranged an OTC session for the following Friday. She wanted a Friday evening because she was tired of all the PL "White Knights" on that night who always seemed to want "save" her from her life of sin and iniquity, as opposed to just buying laps from her (like me). She gives an incredible lap, btw. Extensive use of her fingernails and nipple licking (mine), though she was certainly amenable to that as well.
Anyway, we hook up and have a phenomenal session. One of the best I've had in years: great body, great attitude, great skills, great taste (pussy and ass) and we spend two hours doing a Vasco de Gama on each other's body. Wonderful. We finished up and agreed to meet again, then I cleaned up and got some dinner at 5 & Diner and headed out.
First stop was Sinn Showgirls, formerly Amazons, as a dancer on SW commented that she had seen some some high mileage activities at this club. Kinda like waving a red flag in my face, if you know what I mean. Made it to the club about 9:30. Still the same parking lot as the old Amazons that looks like it had been cluster-bombed. Paid the $7 cover and went inside.
Stage is a standard "T" type; girls do one and done song sets. Songs appear to be much longer here (the DJ played the new Jay-Z song almost all the way through, for instance) than HL, CC's or BSC, all of which are usually clocking around 3:00 minutes per. This club skews very, very urban. About 25 PLs in the place (all having a good time), 20 of whom were young (under 30) and Latino. The music was predominantly hip hop and loud. Probably 15+ dancers on shift, all of whom were either just 1's or 2's on Chili's 4-point dancer lap index. One dancer was particularly aggressive, forcing me to turn her down 4 times before she would go away. Another PL was actually dancing at his table, using moves I haven't seen outside of a Pet Shop Boys video, except with a huge belt buckle.
I saw good tipping at the stage and numerous laps going on, with nothing more outrageous than a solid grind being performed on the custys (hands stayed by the side). Dancers were a mix of black, white and Latina. As I left the club, I saw two guys taking a leak in the parking lot by their car. You stay classy, Phoenix!
Headed over to Hi-Liter. Been trying to track down a dancer I saw about a month ago, and haven't seen since. Makes Tina, the lame blonde dancer with the F-Cups look like Nicole Richie. Really. I think it wasn't until 4th grade when I could count that high into the alphabet, insofar as her cup size is concerned. Had the front girl check the dancer roster (2 pages!) and no sign of my disappeared dancer.
Amazingly, managed to snag a great seat along the wall. Got a lame dance from a stacked brunette whose technique I can only say is akin to those toy birds that drink water and then bobble up and down until its momentum allows it to drink again, with my cock as the rarely used target. Why get 1000cc implants and then spend 75% of the dance facing away from me? Schmuck.
Suddenly, like an oasis, a tall redhead parts the crowd and heads towards me. Bridgette to the rescue, wearing an amazing black bodystocking. Remember Gregory Hines in "History of the World Part 1"? That's what my tongue did looking at Bridgette in full work gear. Fuck, I nearly forgot just how great Bridgette's body is. Fortunately, she was more than willing to help me remember, with six laps on the floor, then another six in the VIP room. Has her surgeon won a Medical Nobel Prize yet? Day-um. Seriously, dudes, if you haven't lapped Bridgette, you really need to make the effort.
No point in staying after that, so I head to Bourbon Street. Crowded, crowded, crowded, but as soon as I walk in my little Sunshine is there to greet me. She tells me she wants to rape me as soon as she finishes her set, and, as Bobby Knight once said, if rape is inevitable, then I might as well relax and enjoy it. Good advice. We do our standard 5 VIP songs. Very satisfying. I sit back down, and hear the DJ call out "Tiana" to the stage. Could it be? (Insert Marv Albert "YES" here.) A refugee from Christie's, I think I can say without fear of contradiction that Tiana is the only F-Cup asian dancer in all of Phoenix. Beautiful face and smile, too. I immediately go Boba Fett on her stage, slip a fiver in her G-string and ask her to reserve some laps for me. Everyone else in the club has to get in line after me, so I get first dibs on her golden globes. We lapped until after 1 AM, when her top had to go back on (PHX rules), and arranged schedules to meet up again.
Life is good.

CP, you sure know how to make a girl feel special ;D
Oh, and I saw you when you came into HL, but I was finishing up with someone else. I saw you got a dance from the brunette and knew you wouldn't like it. She's got a good body and is very cool, but she's a booty girl. I almost wished I could warn you, but eh, I know you can take care of yourself :P hehe
Another great TR Mr. Palmer! You are truly a Jedi Knight of lapping, having mastered the powers of the force. Please continue to share your wisdom with the rest of us mere wannabes....
Also, I will second CP's recommendation to check out the fabulous Ms. Bridgette. Jessica Rabbit has been cloned into perfect human form without a doubt! 8)

*so very interested in seeing Miss Bridgette*
But on to the subject..... I used to work at CC in tempe...and a lot of what you guys complain about is true there, and seems to have gotten worse. I loved that club, and did great the three years I worked there, but it's rep seems to be having a very bad effect and my way of dancing and being friendly is causing problems.
So I did what any smart lil stripper should do and I switched clubs....but I'm sad now because I haven't seen a single post about the club I switched to, Bombshells..... Do you guys not like it? Have you heard bad things? Whats the review on this one? I've been there a week so far, plenty of hot girls that I wouldn't kick out of bed for eating crackers, great music and a good VIP area (I think).....you all?
Thanks in advance

I used to stop into Bombshells every once in awhile but I haven't been there in years now. I don't think that it's a bad club, there are just several other clubs in the vicinity that I enjoy more. Does the arab guy still own it? I've heard that he can be difficult to work for.

^^ Nope, new owners, remodeled, VIP area, new stage and it looks much nicer than when I visited as a custy years back. I dig it..I just obviously hope guys do to, otherwise I'll be dancing all for my lonesome. :(

I went in after the remodel. The diamond plating on the walls is a somewhat bizarre concept that Sonny's in Chandler also embraced.
Bombshell's had a very parochial, neighborhood bar type of feel to me. Almost felt like I was invading the regular's privacy by being there. Don't recall any special VIP area, though. Also, in all the times I've visited over the years, I've never seen more than six dancers on shift, none of whom were lapworthy, IMO. However, it's proximity to BSC certainly makes it an easy stopover to see you one night.

There is a 'mix' of girls there for sure.... But after having worked three weeknight shifts and two weekend shifts, I have seen quite a few (and I am so stealing this word! :) ) Lapworthy girls there. Not many of them have worked there long though...seems the club has gone through a bit of a change, from what I have heard.
Anyway, thanks for the info, and CP it would be great to run into you ;)

Yeah, never judge a dancer by her avatar......}:D

EE, Paris worked at Bombshells when she was here in Phx a few months ago and liked it. She said she did well there, moneywise. So judging by that, it can't be a bad place to work. Have you been doing well there? I reckon as long as you're making money and ok with the eonvironment that's all that matters. It may not be one of the most popular clubs in town but that'll also mean less competition for the money ;)

So I've been curious about this new blond chic with the tits. Had to do some investigation ;D NO they're not natural (CP I'm surprised you can't tell the diff; I can), just a bad boob job that needs to be redone and lifted waaay up. And they're not Fs - just low-swingin DDs. Apparently the doc installed some overs in an attempt to correct some sag, and it went all wrong so now they sag more. Poor girl. I think I'd kick a doc in the balls (maybe face too) a few times for that shit. She's damn cute though. Says she's saving for the redo, and plans to get a better doc this time. This is good ;D
Perhaps she'll become more friendly as time goes on CP. LOL

She wouldn't let me close enough to fully investigate. Remember, I did use the phrase "appears to be" as there was some doubt. A grope or two would have removed any doubt.
Please, for the love of everything you hold holy, refer her to your doctor, okay?

LMAO!! I can tell because of the way they look from the side when she bends over - THAT I can see across the room, even with my crappy vision :P You must not have gotten a look at the right angle ;D
Unfortunately, she's already been told by the DJ to go to a doctor here. Hopefully it's a good doc. Also, not only do I doubt she'd appreciate my input on the subject, I also doubt very seriously she'll travel to FL for her boob job :P
I was at the HL dayshift this past Tuesday and noticed that there is now a woman wandering around offering to sell roses to PLs while they are in the middle of getting dances! I was enjoying Cameron grinding away on me when this woman INTERRUPTS us to ask if I want to buy her a fucking flower! >:( We both ignored her and she moved on, but WTF are the managers thinking at this place? After our dances, we had to laugh about how any roses that actually get bought end up in the dressing room trash faster than gum wrappers.
I think this calls for a poem...
Oh give me a club, where the dancers will rub, and no one tries to get me to buy a stupid flower that nobody working there wants!
Bridgette

^^They've been doing that off and on for a long time. Many times I've had the rose ho RUDELY (and I do mean rude) interrupt my dance for a drooling PL to shove her crappy roses in the dude's face, sometimes even shoving them further under his nose if he doesn't emphatically yell NO! I just don't understand it. I rarely if ever see anyone buying the stupid roses, so can't figure why they keep trying. Doesn't seem worth the effort.
Manager claims to be doing what the owners tell him. That's what he said at one point between my foaming-at-the-mouth cursings at him Wed night.
Stupid clubowners. In 11 years I haven't met one I thought had the good sense to pull his head out of his ass when he had diarrhea ::)
Although I gotta say, Centerfolds has alot going for it. Somebody's doing something right there.

Oh god. Fucking flower people. Hate them. Hate, hate, hate. Stupid, stupid flower people. I once had a guy spend $40 on stupid flowers. He hands them to me. I accept them and say "Thank you. Because I would much rather have these than the cash." And he started to say "You're welcome" and then realized I was being sarcastic. And then I felt bad for hurting his feelings (sometimes I'm going for funny and badass and it just comes out horribly bitchy) and when he offered me the equivalent cash I really felt I had to say no. And I hold the flower people responsible for that loss of $40.

I'll post a longer TR later, but I will say there no flies on HL management. They already have another "Bridgette" working there. :cow:

Well I'm burnt out on Vegas and I'm seriously considering a return to the city and the club where I broke my SC cherry. Spring Training 1990, BSC and their $5 table dances. I figure I can do 5 days of baseball, NCAA, and Scs for less than what a weekend in LV costs me lately.
Used to stay at the Embassy Suites on E. Thomas because we would hit games in Scottsdale, PHX, Peoria, and Merryvale(?), and convenient to a couple of good SCs (BSC and the Men's Club/Tiffany's/CC now?). My buddy was the junkie back then. Any reason not to stay here again? Or suggestions for a better location or club? $10 dances kinda boggle my mind. :D I"ll probably limit the basesball to Giants and A's, so I could stay closer to or in Scottsdale or Tempe.
How 'bout a brief rundown of the better area clubs? I'm more of a laphound/fucko than mileage guy. Don't care for nude (went to Les Girls once). Club Review is apparently in the toilet for awhile. TIA

TIABSC and CC are good clubs, you might want to throw the Hi-Liter into the mix also (especially for daytime/late afternoon fun). If you stay closer to Scottsdale you may also want to consider Skin.
