Bridgette
12-16-2006, 06:30 PM
CP, there's been a Bridgette at HL on days/midshift for a while - her real name is Bridgette, supposedly. She's been using something else as a stage name but she tells everyone her name is Bridgette, customers included.
But, if they've already hired another Bridgette, so what? They can't replace ME. And, not like I'm going back anyway.
Not to be too pimpish of my new club, but I gotta say, their setup is great. And I saw alot more good-looking chics last night, so my initial impression from last week must not be too accurate.
Used to stay at the Embassy Suites on E. Thomas because we would hit games in Scottsdale, PHX, Peoria, and Merryvale(?), and convenient to a couple of good SCs (BSC and the Men's Club/Tiffany's/CC now?). How 'bout a brief rundown of the better area clubs? I'm more of a laphound/fucko than mileage guy. Don't care for nude (went to Les Girls once). Club Review is apparently in the toilet for awhile. TIA
That Embassy Suites is still there, just west of 24th St. I have some really great memories from that hotel and still stay there regularly. It is strategically located with BSC maybe a half mile east on Thomas, Bombshell's further east just past 44th St., HL just up the 51, and CCP-Phx just a few miles south on 32nd St. Keep in mind that all the decent hotels will be on snowbird rates until something like May 1.
I agree with previous comments on area clubs. The TUSCL reviews are generally pretty accurate and reasonably up to date. Enjoy!

;D Appreciate the Bombshells plug thrown in there! yay! ^^
Well my pleasure darlin! FYI for the rest of ya, I had a nice visit to Bombshell's (I guess we shouldn't abbreviate it to BS...) one evening last week. I didn't stay very long because it had been a long day already (previous stops at CC-P and HL before dinner), and I had an early meeting the next day. However, I did enjoy the company of the lovely Ms. EE for awhile. I had some dances with her on the floor, and a couple more in the VIP area, and then later realized that I had shorted her when I paid her for the dances. :-[ Sheesh I couldn't believe I had done that, but EE was most gracious when I gave her a stage tip to cover the difference. Thanks for being such a sweetheart! ;D

:flirt: No worries at all, I hadn't even noticed until you came back to the stage, I think I was just still so floored that you actually came in. heh!
Looking forward to your next visit!

Yeah, never judge a dancer by her avatar......}:D
I stand corrected! You may now "judge" Ms. Bridgette by her avatar! Great new pic! Thanks to all you SW gals with stunning avatar pics. ;D

Finally, a litte time to write a TR...
Started off at HL last Friday. Place was packed at 5:15. Barely found one seat towards the back wall by the VIP, then waited a bit to bogart the first chair along the wall that came up.
Tons of girls, none of whom really appealed to me. Musta turned down 15 "wanna dance" requests. Finally, the AZ junkies beloved own Nicki sees me and sits down. It's been a few months since we last lapped and we caught up for a bit. Incidentally, she told me she had her best day of the week (and she always has good days) on the freebie customer appreciation day, so go figure.
When HL is crowded like this, it nigh impossible to enjoy your dance, especially with a lap specialist such as Nicki. We did manage to complete six dances, but I lost count at about 12 of the number of times my feet were stepped on during the process. That does a lot to harshing my mellow, so, since the dancer I was truly looking for was nowhere to be found, I rolled out to my next destination: Bombshells.
I've written previously that Bombshells was a club that would take a lot to get me to go back into. I was wrong on the club--I thought Bombshells was the name of the club off Grand that is under all the overpasses and has undergone about 5 name changes over the years. The club I was thinking fo was Baby Dolls, which is populated almost exclusively with gangsta-wannabes and booty shakin' mamas. Ugh.
Bombshells has done a remodel to their remodel. I was last in there about 8-10 months ago, and the only signs of life were at the pool table in the back of the club. Now, the pool table is gone, the stage is the focal point and there's a VIP room where homies used to play pool. Much better.
Took a place along the cushioned bench by the back wall and watched the show. Place had at least 12-15 PLs, which made it look pretty crowded. Dancers did 2-song sets on the tri-poled stage, with decent energy among the majority. Once dancer named Raven did particularly energetic and enthusiastic pole show, splitting her time between two of the poles (without coming down from one of the other to do so). Definitely earned a tip for her performance.
Had about 8 dancers come up and ask for a dance. None appealed to me, though I did appreciate the better-than-average-for-Phoenix efforts at enticing me. Finally, I thought I saw who I came in for: Exotic Engineer, dressed in civvies and sitting at the bar. Of course, one can never completely trust the avatars around here, so I waited to see if she was, in fact, EE, or just a female custy. After a bit, she kills her drink and goes into the back, so I wait for her return. She comes out of the back and I make sure to catch her eye. Smart cookie; she walks right over to me through the seats and introduces herself. I introduce myself (real name, not internet), do two songs on the floor and then take her for a spin in the VIP room. We do two songs in VIP before she is called to the stage, and when she returns we do another five, I believe. EE is not for the waif lovers; if you;re looking to get a lap from Kate Moss, then move on, nothing to see here. OTOH, if you like tanned, blonde, brickhouses, then EE is your girl.
I finally told EE who I was, we chatted for a bit, then time to move on to BSC. I'll be returning to see her again, hopefully soon. At BSC, I find my usual place and sit. A very target rich environment, must be 40 or so dancers working. Luckily, right out of the gate I find my F-cupped Filipina, who also just arrived, and we head to the VIPs for about 10-12 songs. This is one dancer who has me completely in her thrall, but I am not complaining. She also has impeccable taste in lingerie, and loves to wear clothes that show off her perfect bod.
A little later, I spot another fave. SHe's in an especially good mood tonight, and the laps are off the scale for BSC: feeding, getting fingered, stroking, then finally she slipped the top of pants down for a quick suck or ten on my knob. Nice. After that, I have to ask if we can complete the session elsewhere, and she agrees, giving me her number for follow up (which we did on Wednesday, much to my satisfaction, but that is another story).
Time to head home. All-in-all, not a bad night.

LOL. Nothing wrong with that. Not all of us guys are turned on by the waif look. I don't mean I seek out fat girls, but some flesh please. I just don't get turned on hugging a girl and feeling her bones poking out of her skin. I swear, some of these girls when they ask "do you wanna dance?" I feel like responding "no, but would you like something to eat? I'm buying"

OK, I have a couple more questions for you all in preparation for my return to the Valley of the Sun and endless housing tracts.
I'm used to all-nighters in LV. Do PHX clubs still close at 1a.m?
Are dancers allowed to drink on shift?
Can I get restaurant recs in this thread? Lemme know if I need to ask this elsewhere.
Why must I, as a renter of an automobile, pay for the luxurious stadia in which your athletes play?
Thanks for any and all help.

Clubs close at 2 or 2:30 am now.
Dancers are still not allowed to drink on shift unless you "sign them out" in a vip.
I can't recommend restaurants. I dislike chains and PHX is chain restaurant / strip mall hell.
You can hitch a ride in a SuperShuttle to an off-airport car rental place to avoid the ridiculous taxes. Or you can rent from Fox Rent at generally much lower rates, and they have their own airport shuttle - new cars too.

Thanks for the link, B. Rates look pretty good.
As far as type of food: Any, really.
I don't have a problem with chain eateries, but would def like to find a local hole in the wall or two. I'll be at the Embassy on E. Thomas and 24th. The hotel shuttle will take guests up to 3 miles, but a good tip will usually extend this range, if we all decide to drink.
Found a place called Ranch Market at 16th & Roosevelt that sounded worth a try. Tradiciones? Also, anyone familiar with Caffe Boa on Mill St? I ate at HoneyBear's in 2000, any other BBQ recs? Just don't want to fall back into our old Spring Training schedule: B'fast at hotel, watch NCAA; baseball, hot dogs and beer til 3; Hooters for more beer and NCAA; Embassy Cocktail reception 5-7, more NCAA; dinner at Cheesecake Factory or Hard Rock (bleh) or Old Town Scottsdale; SCs til close; lather; rinse; repeat.
Actually, after looking at that closer, the only changes I would like to make are where to eat and less beer.:O

LOL the fastest way to get a new stadium built these days is to tax the $$$ out of tourists and rental cars.
We'll probably be doing it here soon too to get the 49ers a new stadium.

I'm honestly not too familiar with the eating establishments in that area unless you want pizza. Red Devil (http://www.reddevilrestaurant.com/) has very good pizza and incredible wings. Pizzeria Bianco (http://www.azcentral.com/ent/dining/articles/0214pizza14-CP.html) has some of the best pizza you'll find anywhere, just get there early. There's a Bill Johnson Big Apple (http://www.azeats.com/billjohnsons/default.htm) on Van Buren and 37th St, they've got some decent bbq.
I live in Scottsdale so I know that area better, have you been to the Pink Pony or Bandera in old town Scottsdale, they're not bad? Oregano's (http://www.oreganos.com/menu.htm) is good too. They also recently opened a Pink Taco near the Fashion Square. Tons of places down on Mill Ave in Tempe too, Monti's is fairly priced with lots of ambiance (www.montis.com (http://www.montis.com) ).

Thanks RH. I forgot about Bandera's. We have a place upvalley called Rutherford Grill which is part of the Houston's chain. Didn't know that til we walked by Bandera's and had a deja vu moment with the building and the menu. If they have the ostrich on the menu I'm definately there.
Had a drink at the Pink Pony, but we would eat up at Don and Charlie's for our steak night. Scottsdale recs are great as I'll be trying to go to Giants games during my trip, but really I shouldn't worry about the food as much as in which SC I'm gonna spend my money.

Bump! Here's a couple AZ tidbits.
Looks like they built a club over on the west side not far from the new stadium/arena. I don't get to the west side of town much but building close to the stadium/arena/westgate area sounds like a good idea.
Anyone been there? Is it even open yet?
http://www.pinkcabaret.com/Pink Cabaret looks to be opening Feb 10, I'm not positive though, sounds like they will be a nude club for now until they get their liquor license.
Apparently Le'Girls has bought the Penthouse Club, sounds like they are going to keep it as topless club. I think it's going to be called Le'Girls West. I was never too impressed by the Penthouse Club, hopefully it does better with new ownership.

True dat, but let's face it: we're PLs. We'd drive halfway to Prescott in a snowstorm if we knew the club had the right kind of dancers offering the right kind of mileage. As I wrote once on SCL, the Penthouse Club reminded me of the "cheese shop" sketch on Monty Python. It's the best club in town. Why? It's so clean. It was certainly uncontaminated by dancers.

Ahh truth.. I have driven to Tucson for no other reason than that.. dunno if I'd do it in a snowstorm though... not that it'd be an issue heading south. Hmmm.. would I drive up Mt. Lemmon in a snowstorm... hmmmm yeah I might.

Interesting. Here I am in Tucson making up reasons to drive to Phoenix in the quest for that elusive "truth", and you're willing to drive the opposite direction down here searching for the same holy grail. Is there a specific destination or dancer here in the Old Pueblo that satisfies your thirst for adventure? It is amazing what a true junkie will do for a fix, maybe that's why I've been so cranky lately! I think it must be time to stick that needle back in my arm.....

I guess I should probably explore more up here in Phoenix for that elusive "truth", since there's an assload of clubs up here.. but I basically stick with one club. So apart from the handiness of a couple more Zia's and Bookman's to explore, my Holy Grail down south seems to be the Candy Store. I've had really excellent luck there. Nice comfortable vibe.. way below upscale, but above a dive.. the music mix is just right.. and its a bargain. There's three or four dancers I've had exceptional VIP's with, way ahead of anything I've encountered in Phoenix. Not the sort of place to go if you're looking for playboy quality women though.. but I like the cute girl-next-door types.
Not to mention there's a Little Caesar's right next door.. Hot times in VIP and then Crazy Bread after?? Does it get any better?

I agree TG, Candy Store (Tucson) is a really nice little club. I've said it before that the $10/song VIP dance price is just ridiculously low, especially considering the mileage that goes on in there. I've only been in the daytime, and have seen some extremely cute gals working, and some that just arent. The last time I was there a few months ago, I went into VIP with a busty latina for what I thought would be a handful of nice good contact dances. Almost immediately she started undressing me, stuck her hand down my pants, stuck my hand in her pussy, and told me we were "upgrading" my dances to $20 each. I stopped her 3 songs later, (much to her disappointment), went to the men's room to wash my hands }:D , and stumbled back to my car. This level of unsolicited activity surprised me because I am not a regular there, had never met her before, and could have just as easily been LE.
I stop in there a couple times a year just to see how things are going, but it's a couple miles out of the way for me, and the HL is only 120 miles up I-10, which just goes to prove - it ain't always about mileage! 8)

Yup.. the level of activity in there was a very pleasant surprise, especially for me being a non-regular and especially at $10 like you say. I get down there maybe once every two-three months at best, and have only been there in the daytime as well. I've gotten those aggressive girls too, but have also been lucky in finding ones that are pretty interesting to hang and chat with. There was this one skinny blonde girl.. smoking hot dances.. and then we sat and talked about foreign movies for quite a while.. (I'm still waiting for her recommendation Tampopo to come through on my Blockbuster queue dammit.) This other really cute little ponytailed brunette.. very small but exceptional breasts.. also very hot dance.. and I don't know how long we sat and talked about music and horror movies. We had both just coincidently seen Night of the Living Dead 3D and were both pissed at how f'n terrible it was.
Yeah, that club was where I learned that "extras" aren't just urban legends.. wait.. now I'm getting all misty-eyed..
Still, my ATF is up here, and does typical Phoenix dances but I'd take her VIP over any adventures down there.. Still, its fun to skank it up every now and again. ::)
And I've still never been to the HL.. though I've heard many people say good things about it.. and I'm right in its neighborhood too.

Oh while I'm thinking of it.. I drove past Bombshells this afternoon.. another one of those clubs I've never been to, but hear good things about.. and their sign out front is adverting a "Customer Appreciation" thing on Feb. 14th. Since I have a certain hate for that day, I was intending on dropping my ass on a barstool at my usual club and drinking my sorrows away for a couple hours... buuut now I'm curious what would be up there, and if its anything interesting enough to keep my mind occupied. Any insights?

Well, Exotic Engineer dances there and is worth a spin or two in the VIP room. Thes rest of the girls at Bombshells were not my type, but seemed about as friendly as any I've come across in Phoenix. Not sure about the dancer quality on the 14th, but I can think of worse places to be.

Here's some interesting news, Dick's Cabaret will no longer feature male dancers. Apparently it will soon be called Babylon and feature nude FEMALE dancers. I know they used to have female dancers there (Gold Club???) and it didn't do too well, it will be interesting to see how this latest incarnation will fare.
Does anyone know if Pink is open yet? It sounds like it may be worth checking out but I don't want to drive all the way out there if they're not yet opened.

I was in Phx last Thursday night, so I made a brief stop at Bombshells to check out the post-fire remediation efforts. The place looked great, with not even a hint of fire smoke odor (very hard to get rid of). Most of the PLs lined up against the wall seemed to be having a real good time, especially on the bench seat on the back wall by the DJ. There is also a new little VIP room back there that I don't remember from before. There was a couple playing in there, and it looks like it could be fun with the right gal. They still have that cubicle VIP area up front near the restrooms, but it was empty when I walked by. The talent working was diverse and friendly, but unfortunately no sign of Ms. EE (she's kinda hard to miss), so I didn't stay very long. One minor annoyance was the parking. The regular lot was full, but there were probably a dozen empty VIP spaces that were obviously not going to be used, so why not just open them up?

That bugs me too.... but if you are comfortable, you can park at the bank lot....Eh.
I missed you that night. Time to get my lazy arse to work!! ;D
I went to Diva's (16th St. & Mcdowell) a few days ago with my brother. I feel obliged to write a trip report, considering how bad that club was. My brother insisted on going her because apparently last time he met a girl that liked him there. I tried persuading him to go to Hi-Liter's or Christie's on 32nd, but he would not budge (he just turned 21 so he doesn't know about the good clubs yet). So I reluctantly agreed, since I had not gone out with him for about a year and he was in town for only the weekend.
Cover was $7 and the obligatory water (non-alcholic club) was $5. The club is one very small room with one stage, and chairs all around that stage. The dance room is sectioned off in the back. The music was insanely loud, way beyond my comfort level. The club was mainly filled with hispanic customers with the occasional under 21 college student. Everyone basically just watches the dancer on stage. Pervert's row was completed full. There were a couple customers who even had their elbows up on the stage, trying to vie a closer look. This reminded me of being in a theatre watching a movie, because all anyone did was stare at the dancers (and the stage show wasn't even that great). There were also no dances going on in this room. All the dances must go to the sectioned off room. The girls are not really that good looking either. Maybe 4-7's. I think there was one dancer that I might have gotten a dance from. If you wanted to get a dance, you had to talk to the "house mom" and she was hustling, trying to get dances for her girls.
While I was waiting for my brother to be ready to leave, a girl was going around asking each customer for $1. She eventually reached me,
"Would you like to give me a dollar?"
"Sorry, no thanks."
The dancer turns to the club mom, "This guy won't give me a dollar."
club mom: "what? why won't you give her a dollar."
me: "Why would I give her a dollar?"
club mom: "just give her a dollar."
me: "No thanks."
They stand there staring at me, bewildered, for at least 60 seconds.
Dancer: "so are you going to give me a dollar?"
me: "No."
Dancer: "k bye."
Sigh. Maybe I'm cheap, but I'm not just going to give away money like that. I always tip my waitresses, always tip my dancers, and such, but screw that. That pretty much put me off for the night and was a big red flag for me.
Anyways, the DJ kept on advertising every 5 minutes, "Guys, get a dance!! Mutual contact back there! You won't regret it!!" My brother then turned to me, "I'm going to get a dance from that girl over there! Give me some money!"
I glanced over at the dance room and I saw pretty much all air dances and a bouncer guy leering over everybody, (probably enforcing the air dances).
I tried convincing him to leave this wretched place and I even offered to buy him a few dances over at HiLiter's or Christie's, but his mind was set. I reluctantly gave him some money.
When, he came back, he told me the story. The girl told him the dance was $40 for 10 minutes, but just today they are having the special of a free 5 minutes. So $40 for 15 minutes. He paid the $40 and then they went to the sectioned off room. She then said that the $40 is just for the time in the room and it goes straight to the house. She instructed him that he would need to pay her a "tip" for the dance. The "tip" fees were:
$40 - "an okay dance" translated: air dance
$80 - "a really good dance" translated: air dance
$120 - "anything goes" translated: air dance
So, $80 minimum total for 15 minutes of air dancing. I don't know about you guys, but to me that is a ripoff. Well shortly after that, we left. Thank god.
Thanks X2 for reminding us that for all the great clubs and incredible gals to be found in Phoenix (and Tucson for that matter), there are plenty of total dive places like Diva's that should be avoided like the plague!
You must take charge of venue selection on future brotherly outings!
Brothers don't let brothers go to useless dive airdance strip clubs.

Thanks X2 , I've never stopped in there as I've read numerous similar posts on various other websites that have said basically the same thing. It really surprises me how places like that stay open as I doubt they get much repeat business. Dream Palace pulls the same crap, you may want to avoid them as well.
Only one week until the new "Smoke Free Arizona" law goes into effect, which will prohibit smoking in all strip clubs. WOO HOO!
It occurred to me while at the Hi Liter last week that this will also restrict dancers from smoking in dressing rooms, so I asked a dancer about it. She said they are putting in a patio out front for dancers and patrons to smoke. That might be tough to do since it has to be at least 20 feet from the entrance.
Has anyone else heard what other clubs are planning to comply with the new law? It will be interesting to watch the effect on business, if any. Maybe the inconvenience will actually motivate some to quit (smoking, not clubbing ;D )

I've heard the patio talk from several other club managers as well. But yah, kind of confusing, the 20 foot rule, the fact that you can't have dancers and customers socializing outdoors while "on the clock" etc.... we'll see.
I'm a smoker (trying SO hard to quit!) and I'm actually looking forward to the smoking ban, keeping my fingers crossed that it will help me.
I also heard a rumor that some clubs are now going "private" forming a membership type deal so they can get around the smoking ban. Not sure how that will pan out either.
So here's a question. For you gents who smoke, will this ban keep you from staying in clubs longer, having to go outside to smoke each time? Some girls are worried that once you leave the club to have that smoke, you may nto come back in.... thoughts?

^^ Mother of God, I am SO not going there again.
I am just too sensitive...I can't take it.
The last time we had a smoking talk, I left in tears. I just don't have it in me emotionally. :/

^^ Bah...no need. I have long since let it go.
I think we both find it a very sore subject and therefore should steer clear. :)
It is more embarassing to realize you are getting upset by random anons on an internet forum. :-\

What are the rules like in the AZ clubs?? (i.e. do you need a license?, travelers welcome?, how much of you do you need covered when out on the floor?) Some of these may seem silly but I have been dancing in san diego and LOTS of rules over there! Thanks!
