Or what would you like to hear a stripper dance to?

Come on help me out guys.

Hi,

Quick post from work (*gasp*).

Off the top of my head, my fave is Everbody Knows by Leonard Cohen.

And yes, I like Exotica (the Egoyan movie).

Later,

Shayden,

A few quick ones - I like these not only for the music but for some magical LD experiences I had while they were playing:

Beyonce - Crazy in Love
No Doubt - Keep on Dancing
Effenecese (sp) - How can you...Wake me up.. Not sure of the name
Alanis Morrisette - Track 2 Jagged Little Pill

For stage I like a lot of Techno type music. I associate songs better with LDs than stage dances and I know that doesn't help you.

Hey whatever song you like a stripper to dance to, hit me with it. Someone suggested K's Choice-Addict to me on SW and I fell in love, realizing you guys must know what your talking about.

BTW, Spanky Evanescence-Bring Me To Life is the one I think your talking about.

Thanx guys keep um coming. Give me some really good ones and I might even put up some pics after X-mas. :great:

It really depends on the girl and the image she is trying to portray (and if she can pull it off).

I like energetic techo music that gets the crowd going, this same girl can play slow sensuous music and move with it and I still have my jaw dropping in amazement.

I guess my favorite would be the first two songs I ever heard at a strip club. Candle Box: far behind and cover me. Mercedes I will never forget you. ;D Everytime I hear them it takes me back. Then I would have to say Staind : so far away and it's been awhile. You have to love Motley crue: girls girls girls.

Right now what's really big is:
Britney Spears: Toxic, Breath on Me (Everybody bugs me to bring the CD in)
System of a Down: Aerals, Chop Suey
Trapt: Headstrong
The Offspring: Gotta Keep 'em Separated, Self-esteem
2 Live Crew: Me so Horny

Lots of oldies but goodies. I got my ATF dance to Ugly Kid Joe the other day because I had it in my head. I'm surprised that they had the song.

What do you guys think of Robin Trower-Black Betty? I heard that song somewhere and it rocks.

BTW, thanx for the suggestions guys and Lilith! I've downloaded almost all of them now and there are some awesome songs in there I never knew about.

Does anyone know of anything techno-ish, hard beat, really hardcore sexy music? Smurf tipped me off to Basement Jaxx-Get Me Off and I've been trying to look for something like it.

I don't know that Robin Trower song, but generally, I like Robin Trower.

I've never heard this song before in a club, but if I had a favorite "strip club song," this would be it. The lyrics don't do it justice - Bob Seger's raspy voice and the mournful guitar make it wonderfully evocative, even if you haven't been there.

Main Street (by Bob Seger)

I remember standing on the corner at midnight
Trying to get my courage up
There was this, long lovely dancer in a little club downtown
I loved to watch her do her stuff
Through the long lonely nights she filled my sleep
Her body softly swaying to that smoky beat
Down on Main Street

In the pool halls, the hustlers and the losers
I used to watch 'em through the glass
Well, I'd stand outside at closing time
Just to watch her walk on past
Unlike all the other ladies, she looked so young and sweet
As she made her way alone down that empty street
Down on Main Street

And sometimes even now, when I'm feeling lonely and beat
I drift back in time and I find my feet
Down on Main Street .....
Down on Main Street

(I hope I'm not causing copyright violations here.)

Main Street (by Bob Seger)

I have heard this in a club before and this dancer just knew exactly what to do with it.

I usually don't really notice the music but I once saw a feture dancer at Show World in NYC do a great job with Tesla's "What you Give".

For lap dances I like slower stuff. Anything from Marvin Gaye to a good rock ballad. I get into it if the dancer gets into it. I've been known to do an extra song or two if she coo's "oooooohhhhh, I love this song"...

Do we have to wait until ecember for the pics?

It's Been A While by Staind- very first favorite and I sang this to each other.

Rag Doll by Aerosmith and Bathwater by No Doubt- the two songs that stick out the most on my retired ATF's and my first night.

St. Anger by Metallica- former favorite did this for me as a special request.

Battery by Metallica- The song that reminds me most of my ATF.

Candy Shop by 50 Cent- a track that is permanently linked in my mind to a favorite of mine at the club by work.

All that is Good and Sweet, but find me a Gal who can dance to Dusty Springfield's "Son of a Preacher Man" and I'll show you a Pro.
And yes, I know the song is only 2:36 long, but if you can move to it, I'll take it over the Full version of GnR's November Rain any Night!

Seal - "Kiss From A Rose" (got to be a close heavy petting kind of dance - no air dance on this one).

Your comment intrigued me, so I downloaded this song to find out for myself. You ain't lyin, this is a GREAT makeout song that would go great with any close contact two-way activity. I really like the dissonant harmonies in the vocal bridge in the middle of the song, they sound just like old Crosby, Stills, & Nash stuff. Oh, and the song just has an incredible romantic, sensuous sound to it.

Another really great song I heard recently is "Sexy" from the Black Eyed Peas. I noticed it as part of the soundtrack from "Be Cool", Chili Palmer's second movie (that we know of....). For a higher energy song, also from the BEPs, I also like "Pump It".

Probably my ATF lapdance song, which is almost NEVER played in clubs, is Wicked Game by Chris Isaak. This song smolders slow and hot, just the way I like my lapdances.....

Classic -- "You Shook Me All Night Long", AC/DC

Current -- "Shake That Ass For Me", Eminem.

The Eminem song's lyrics sound like it was specifically written for a stripper on stage.
