I have two Google Mail invites left. Right now they're beta testing so you can only use it if invited. If interested pm me and I will send you an invite. It asks for first, last name and an email address to send to. Don't worry about the first, last name. John Doe works just fine. ;D

It's pretty cool. 1 GIG of storage free. Gotta love it.

I only had two left but already gave one to a well deserving SCJ. The other is yours. Just pm me an email address to send the invite to. ;)

Haven't tried GMail, but FastMail () offers similar accounts. I've been using them for years.. I don't even think about switching emails..

So those who have been using Gmail...what do you think?

I like mine.

Especially the labeling system.

Gmail is pretty overrated. I don't like it anymore or any less than my Yahoo! account or even my own domain accounts.

Didn't used to be that way. You used to have to wait awhile to get 6, and they didn't replenish them often. Setting up additional accounts for yourself took some time early on.

Hype. :) But pretty effective for a freemail account that scans your messages to determine what commecial ads/banners to show you. Google employs some smart folks...

It's funny how I was so big on gmail and then stopped using it which ultimately culmonated in me forgetting my password and, more importantly, my gmail address altogether. :) You can't ask for your password if you don't at least know the email address in question. Thankfully they make Treos for people like me.
