Just last week I laid a guy out. Was in the VIP giving a dance, and he kept grabbing me. After telling him the first 2 or 3 times to stop, and he didnt, I told him the dance was over. I also yelled for the DJ(his booth is right next to the VIP and is in charge of knowing how many dances we do, taking care of any problems, etc). The DJ didn't hear me. The guy stood up infront of the VIP booth, and told me he wasnt going to let me leave. Therefore, I kneed him in the nuts. He went right down! lol!!! In general, I'm not a violent person, but I do stand up for myself, and I sure as hell don't take any shit. Let's se, what other stories can I tell you like this?! I was dancing at a club one night, and at this club, you dance on stage, and on the bar, which surrounds the stage. There was a real rude customer one night who was heckiling all the girls. I went up on stage, and he started saying really mean and arrogant things, and threw other things at me besides money. I was on the bar, and walked to where he was sitting, put my heel on his chest, and pushed him right off his barstool. He landed flat on his back, and everyone cracked up laughing. Then he was finanlly escorted out by the bouncers. They told him he was obviously too drunk, he fell off his barstool. I have other stories, but, I guess that's enough for now.

I very much doubt that any customer who has been hit by a dancer didn't deserve it.

Telling a dancer to never defend herself and rely solely on the security staff is like telling a woman walking down a dark street not to defend herself and rely solely on the police if she gets attacked.

I'm with Brittany. The unfortunate thing is that the management is not always so supportive.
I've been told that "dancers don't have the right to defend themselves"... we were supposed to
go get the bouncers who are never around to do their job. Once I reflexively wheeled around
and struck a customer who hit me from behind (his way of telling me to pay attention to
him but I was so popular that night that I couldn't get over to him before the song was over
and I had to get off stage to make way for the next girl). He was drunk and I "drew blood"
so I was instantly fired by the owner/manager (a woman and former dancer of a club
mentioned on this board who is supposedly so understanding). In another club a girl
got bit very hard (yes, bit!) and was not going to tell the management out of fear for HER
job! Fortunately, in this case the management backed her up and threw the customer out
immediately once I convinced her to tell them. In some clubs (even in an extreme case
like this) I have seen management do nothing more than give a warning to a paying
customer.... they don't want to lose any money for the bar. We need management
to back us up when customers misbehave. And misbehavior should include not only violence
but other forms of insult as well!

242 fair, you did the right thing! too many girls dont stand up for themselves in this industry. i'm proud of you. i, myself, am waiting for the day when i go completely loco & throw chairs (gotten close one time & had to be dragged upstairs).

i busted a beer bottle over one guys head and he started bleeding badly (i got 4 lapdances from a group of guys for this- they actually thought it was cool!). i've pissed on a guy's face when he tried to lick me down there (hit the eyes! it burns like a b***h!).

but the dancer's best defense: tampons. yep. there's nothing that scares a guy more than soiled feminine products. just yank it out and toss.

Well management at my club says this too.. but i do it anyways.. they arent giving the lap dances.. The dancers are... So how would they know what it feels like to be disrespected and treated the way we get treated?

i have probably made my point to.. over 4 customers in the past 6 months ive been working there... hadnt gotten into too much trouble... ;)

My first good friend who was a dancer, Chase Morgan, had a guy grab her cookie when she was bent over away from him, giving another guy a table dance. Without hesitation she spun around and kicked the guy right in the face, breaking his nose. She is a small woman, but has a giant heart, with spirit to match.

Sadly, self-defense against what is literally and legally sexual battery will get most dancers fired quickly.

And the sexual assault isn't confined to the customers. My girlfriend had her ass grabbed by a DJ, a bouncer, and a manager on the same night, shortly after she started at a new club. She glared at them and moved away quickly, but did nothing else, since she knew there was little she could do if she wanted to keep working there. They have since pretty much left her alone, but the attitude prevails, here and in many other clubs, that women are there to be groped, fondled, and used.

There is little legal recourse. Can you imagine a sexual harassement case being brought against a stripclub manager?

Personally, I love hearing stories about women who dare to take the power back...

Me being the way I am, I would have done more than slap him..if it would have been me, he wouldnt have been so lucky to get his ass up. It has never happened to me, but if it ever does, I have this wonderful fantasy of taking my heel off and busting him in his face with it, HEH! I would have seriously unleashed on some fucknut that did that.

Yeah, It is hard not to sometimes
I was on stage once and this dick was sitting next to the stage when he would tip me he would try to slide his hand in my thong. After telling him not to twice, I was getting off stage and walking by and he grabbed me and pulled me on him, and stuck his hand in my croch. and was trying to stick his finger in me. The asshole bouncer was fucking flirting with some dancer so was not paying atention. I fucking struggled away and fucking started kicking him with my stilettos. Some other girl had to pull me off him i mush have got him pretty good because he left FAST. and never came back

One time I danced for a guy and LITTERALLY during the first 3 seconds after i took my panties off and turned around he leaned over a licked my crack! I was sooooooooo grossed out and mad - I lost it! I turned, hit him in the face with my fists 3 times and yelled WHAT THE F*** DID YOU DO THAT FOR!!! (Duhhhhh i knew why he did it, but in the midst of my rage it was all I could say)
I demanded my money right then and there and the a-hole had to go to the bank (outside of the club) - but the he came back with the cash, and got kicked out right after he paid me.

Then a few days later i was talking to one of my customer friends (you know the ones you talk to when you've already asked everyone for a dance) and he said his co worker told him that i beat him up! The loser actually admitted it!

I het a custy a few times
Once when I FIRST started dancing a guy grabbed my pussy at the beginning of a dance. Since I was very new, I was SO not expecting it. Without even thinking I turned around and hit him in the head with my shoe. I also did not get in trouble, the manager just told me next time I should walk away and tell a bouncer but I did it on impulse
Another time, a custy jumped on top of me on the stage, it scared the shit out of me so i started hitting him in the head with my shoe untill the bouncers got over there and pulled him off. Actually, they did not get there soon enough, another custy pulled him off. It wasnt exactly the bouncers fault, it takes them a second to run to the stage from where they sit. I didnt get in trouble that time either, in fact, the manager was more concerned that I was ok. It really scared me. I work at a men cant touch kind of club and they are strict so i am not in to the whole getting grabbed thing.

Not much male perspective in this topic, but then again I'm not the type of guy who frequents SC's. Regardless, I totally agree with your reaction, the creep deserved it. That is hands down sexual assault. Faithless
