Porn is a-ok with me, and I don't mind watching it together, it can be pretty fun actually. I even own a few DVDs myself.

However.

If he's spending a lot of time beating off to porn, I would probably get irritated and/or offended. What's a lot of time? I don't know. I guess if it took time away from us, or was a compulsive thing.

The other thing is the taste. I'm picky about what girls I consider hot, and when I see a boxcover with a truly fugly skank who looks like they plucked her out of the trailer she shared with her father/brother, I can't help but be a little disgusted. Pretty counterproductive to what porn is supposed to accomplish, but I have an ex who really disliked implants, so he bought from the all-natural and amateur (too new to have implants) lines. Holy shit ladies, there are some truly hideous, fugly girls fucking on camera. I am flabbergasted that anyone would buy some of these, nevermind someone I knew and was sexin' with. Even more flabbergasted he tried to get me to watch a couple of the really awful ones. I was like you must be out of your mind, if you have any sense you will put in some Jenna or Raylene and never mention this godawful other flick again.

Edited to add: content can be an issue. BSDM is no problem (might get bonus points, actually ;) ) but some of the really violent and/or degrading stuff would not be kosher to me. I'm NOT saying porn is general is degrading, that's bullshit and it pisses me off when the so-called feminists drag that old argument out, but there is stuff out there that is degrading in my eyes. Some of the stuff I've seen, if I ever saw in a guy's possession I would be skeeved to say the VERY least. I'm talking about stuff with cover copy like 'fucking whore cum-dumpsters get choked on cocks, take soda cans up their ass, get choked and have their heads stuck in a toilet and they love it because they are fucking sluts and want what they deserve!' Yes, I saw something pretty much like that. Honestly, the thought that this would bring someone to orgasm would be a dealbreaker to me. This ended up being long and kind of off-topic, I apologize.

Yes,

Our brains are programmed to respond to the visual stimulation found in porn. It's just the way our male brains are wired.

I think MOST guys look at porn, at some point or other in their lives. I actauly dated and lived with a guy for 3 years who got me hooked on playboy and variations magazines. With another BF, we used to get drunk and then giggle at teh "girlie channel" as he called it. So, yeah, ther is a place for it in most realtionships.

HOWEVER . . . my hubby fucked up twice with internet porn. Once he got my computer so jammed up with trojan horses and spyware that I had to take it and get it repaired professionally.

THe other time, we hadn;t had sex for the longest, and for the few months prior, it had to be a big argument to even get him to look at me. ANd then what did I find in the Explorer history file? You guessed it!

I changed his filter rating to PG-13.

The point is, if you are having a healty reationship otherwise, I wouldn't sewat it. But if his porn viewing habits are taking his time/sexual energy away from you, then there is a problem.

I'm not with anyone, but I find that the strip club thing seems to be enough, at least so that I don't care about porn. Although, I did go through a bout with it when I started using the Internet, I have rarely looked at in the last few years. If I was with someone, I probably would not do it unless she wanted to.

I don't allow my boyfriend to look at porn. He made me quit dancing so I made him quit looking at porn. I think it's a fair trade, he doesn't see it that way but I really dont care. He complies with it though. If a man can't look at my naked body why should he be able to look at other naked women? His excuse is..."Your on top of a guy, dry humping him. I'm looking at pictures." The fact of the matter is, your getting your jollies off and I quit my job to work a miserable, lowpaying shit job so it is NOT ok for you to look at porn fucker!

Who is with me here???!

I sure am. If you can't do it, he can't look at someone else doing it. I wouldn't allow him to force me to quit though. Sounds like you're not happy.
