I was told the other day, as a piece of constructive critisim, that I was acting waaay too smart. /:O The guy said that to sit with someone who was very beautiful AND smart...(AND half naked) that it was a bit intimidating for him, and it may be for other guys as well. Do you guys like it when a stripper acts all ditsy? Should I really have to "turn-off" my intellegence? Just curious. Thanks guys.

Last Friday afternoon of the month I reserve for stoned dancers. Other than that, I like intelligence.

Well, I'm usually both. Does that count? haha. I may be intellectual, but I'm also a total stoner chick. I just get a bit more talkitive. ;D

The guy said that to sit with someone who was very beautiful AND smart...(AND half naked) that it was a bit intimidating for him, and it may be for other guys as well.ya gotta be kidding me...did this incident actually take place in a sc or on a recent episode of Jeopardy? i think he was just feeding you CS. at least, i hope he was feeding you CS.

Do you guys like it when a stripper acts all ditsy? Should I really have to "turn-off" my intellegence?the whole issue is a nonstarter for me. why go to a sc, if someone is primarly looking for an intelligent woman or not so intelligent woman? OTOH, if you're looking for a woman to bend over so you can get a good look at her ass. well, a sc is the perfect setting.

My ditz meter is set very low. I'm a talker - actualy, most girls say "a listener" and though I don't measure my favs by their IQ, intelligent conversation with a hot looking woman is not the worst way to kill a few hours.

He was probably thinking you were smarter than him and found it intimidating. Intelligent conversation is much better than sitting there listening to a ditz.

Airheads get old real fast, some intelligence is a good thing IMO.

OTOH, if you're looking for a woman to bend over so you can get a good look at her ass. well, a sc is the perfect setting. The more I think about this subject, I don't really know if the appeal is so much about having a stripper be smart as it is seeing a woman you know is intelligent get down and dirty. Our evil stereotyping world doesn't let us conclude that Marie Curie and Claudia Schiffer could possibly possess the same body.

For some of us, there is something quite intoxicating about watching a mousey intellectual type of woman show you her inner slut. That scene in Varsity Blues where the football players discover their sex ed teacher is moonlighting as a stripper (http://www.celebritymoviearchive.com/tour/movie.php/3206) comes to mind.

And this is why I ocassionally like to dress business-y. Suit, glasses, hair in a bun. The whole nine. It gets the guys all riled up when I go onstage to : Pour Some Sugar On Me and whip down that bun, throw off the glasses, and "reveal that inner SLUT" as you so eloqently put it. LOL

I'll tip some chump change on the run of the mill strippers (all of whom are supposedly working on their nursing degrees or whatever..god forbid they would strip as a career choice) but the big FBR bucks go to the ones who are verifiably on the masters or Phd path. Miss D is half way+ to her Doctorate (verified by several independent sources). DJ graduates at the end of this quarter with a degree in Psychology. She doesnt want to work for 10 bucks an hour at Childrens Services so shes moving right on to her Masters. Both of these ladies provide stimulating conversation along with other things.

The irony of bonding with dancers beyond their ability to grind your dick to completion is that you find yourself rooting for them to succeed in their lifes goals. To the extent that those goals are greater than meeting next months rent payment motivates the hell out of me to stuff their garters. Observing their success is very much a reward but if they want to thank me above and beyond for my largess Im good with that ;D

FBR: Sometimes it seems like owning up to actualy caring about a woman you met in a strip club makes you a sucker. I can understand why some guys don't have favs or ATFs - just going for the grind and going for the door. However, I think that when you ignore what's going on inside a woman's head and heart (assuming she opens up to you) you are really missing out on what makes a her truly sexy and desirable. If that makes us suckers I'll gladly plead guilty.

The more I think about this subject, I don't really know if the appeal is so much about having a stripper be smart as it is seeing a woman you know is intelligent get down and dirty.i'm not discounting the appeal. however, define the word "know" in the context of a sc. i wonder if some of the appeal is due to either the customer's infatuation or the stripper being a good actress or a combination of both. is it any different than when a stripper gives a customer (or he just assumes) the impression (usually a false one) that he's somehow "special". my only point is that, it's a lot harder to hide one's flaws in a full-time relationship versus a customer paying a stripper to sit on his balls over the course of a hour.

Our evil stereotyping world doesn't let us conclude that Marie Curie and Claudia Schiffer could possibly possess the same body.sure, it's possible. however, if she were a stripper in a sc. i would say, "no, Dr. Curie-Schiffer. i've already heard the story of how you discovered radium during a photoshoot in Milan." " now, would you please turn around and bend over. i need to get a good look at your ass".

now, that i think about it, even if she were giving a lecture on her discovery. i would ask her to bend over and write lower on the chalkboard. so, i could get a good look at her ass...geez, it's no wonder i blew the final exam. :P ;D

LOL! Had to sneak a peak when I read FBR posted. You nailed it FBR! It killed me when the ATF gave up school close to her degree for big bucks in Vegas. Miss P even let me down when she quit school one class short of graduation citing burnout.:( Sorta put them in the same group as all the rest of the flakes.::)

Playboy, the men here are what you might call the cream of the customer crop. They want some working brain cells behind the boobs, but customers like the one you encountered aren't precisely uncommon. Not common, but not rare either. I've heard that line o' crap as well.

You likely already know that, on your initial approach to a new customer, you should be as a blank slate or moldable clay. You become what he wants most as soon as you know what that is. Guys like Jay and FBR can always tell when they've got a smart stripper at the table and guys like your critical, easily intimidated asshat can always be fooled into believing that you're dumber than they are. It's even rather fun to play up the vapid eyes, the helpless giggle and the silly inanities to the point that they're sarcastic; insulting someone without them realizing it has a certain satisfaction.

I was at a club once and had my eye on this really, really cute dancer... (I am incredibly picky with whom I like)... but she came over to talk to me and just had the worst voice ever... she sounded like one of the chipmunks!!! Plus, she had about the same intelligence level! After about 30 seconds, I think I was staring at her like she had three heads and there were more growing by the second! Somehow though, she didn't seem to notice and kept blabbering on... and on... and on.... ect, ect!!! I finally had to excuse myself to go to the bathroom (what I have found to be the best escape route of all times)... and she followed me in there!!!! She just kept talking and talking... it was like fingernails on the chalkboard!!!
Oh my god, just thinking about it makes me cringe still!!!
lol
But for me, looks are very, very important, but if there's not a good personality to match... I'm all set!

Luv,
Amber

Goddam, I wish more men cared about my education! Oh, little innocent bunny. I am going to have to agree with Punky on this one - like these guys fucking know or care how intelligent you are. Sure there are guys who like "smart" girls - and usually they discern you are "smart" (I mean, anyway, who the fuck is going to own up to being dumb?) through a fairly long strippy relationship. I mean, I have never had a guy say "Yeah, you're cute and dumb, just how I like em" because that would be a weird thing to say (comparably "bend over and show me your ass" is quite benign). Guys don't say that - it's always "Wow, you're so special and unusual in some way!" It is their way of trying to pay you a compliment - it is a stupid compliment, but that is what he is trying to do. Every dancer - I mean EVERY dancer gets told all day, every day that she is beautiful, and incredibly intelligent, and special and a good person. And we know that it is not likely to be true of all of them.

By the way - I'm not trying to imply that you are not smart. I don't know you; you might be. Point is - they are CUSTOMERS. They cannot be trusted with this kind of shit. They don't even know you. Stop listening to them before they drive you mad.

Incidentally - all ye who would condemn the ditz - I am ditzy as all hell, not because I am stupid or acting stupid (I mean I really might be stupid, but that has nothing to do with it) but because I am very peppy (think cocaine meets expresso) and I tend to talk really fast about a lot of things - usually involving midgets and/or penguins - and I, even at my ditziest - especially at my ditziest - am very amusing.

Personally, I dont have a problem with guys that want dancers to just bend over, spread their cheeks and show them their junk. I like the view too. But as Ive gotten older, I find myself getting wood from the brain waves as well as the cookie waves. Perhaps a dose of Viagra is in order but I still have fun.;D
