so to push this thread, once you've decided on therapy, how on earth do you find a good one?!?

any ladies with advice, please PM me!

Yes. Other people will have more advice, but interview them. Sit down and write out what you want to get from therapy, and then call them. I try to stay away from clinics where there are several McTherapists, and stick to the ones who have their own practice. When you have them on the phone ask them everything your wondering (I always asked "why did you want to be a therapist?") and then make appointments with two or three of them.

One of the most important things (adding to what Lena said) is that you have a good rapport with them. If you are uncomfortable with them or if you are uneasy talking with them, then it's time to get a new therapist.
