Hey..I used to party at the limelight when I was 16...remember kenny, tommy the manager, astro earl, sprite, billy belissimo. My ex used to "work" there as a promoter. He basically hung out near the phone booths...lol I would go every wednesday night.rollin out of my mind. Rachel used to always win the hot body contest. Sheesh I was a crazy girl...I started dancing a year later.
edit to add: tommy used to look at my sister's id and laugh but alway let me in.
Lol I might have seen you there at some point. Remember "Communion" night? If memory serves they got closed down for Ecstasy trafficing.

[QUOTE=Madcap]Mixed signals from a Stripper?
Now that's a new thing... ::)
QUOTE]
I'm reasonably sure that "mixed signals" are the only signals available down at stripperville, but that shouldn't stop you from granting yourself the "I'm sure she wants to be my girlfriend" fantasy, at least for a few minutes, every few weeks, or so. The illusion is much more pleasant that way.
Just keep your shields up and weapons armed (figuratively, of course).:)

In a funny coincidence I was talking with a friend last night we hadn't talked for awhile.I asked about some club in the area if they had heard of it. They laughed and said "Yeah that's wear Dr.Steve {Chiropractor} met and married his wife". She was a dancer there.I just thought this was so ironic being this convo has been going on here.I still say have no expectations... but, Ah their's always a but! It might happen for Jack

First, you went in there to see a naked woman and did, so she's held up her part of the fundamental bargain. She went in there to make money and you bought a dance; thus, so did you. A fun chat and anything more is gravy.
As for another possible interpretation of said gravy, it's also possible that she, herself, got caught up in a nice moment with you, broke a personal rule of handing contact info out, and then changed her mind. I don't necessarily think that's the most likely theory, just an alternate to the many other likely theories mentioned previously.
Don't try to play mind games with her in the club, and remember and respect that that is her turf. Be nice to her and don't waste her time, but make sure she extends to you the same courtesies and write her off if she doesn't. Any future "bonuses" will work themselves out if they are going to occur, but this ball is very much in her court. Your choice lies in whether to make yourself available to future approach or not.

I would have to agree with everything you said desertdoll. I have been getting dances from this one dancer, for the past 8 months, and only from her. Whenever I am in the club I don't try to control anything with her, I know she has several other regular clients that come in just to see her, but she always makes time for me. Even when she is sitting with the other clients she will come over to me and let me know she will be over to see me when she is finished with that client, I really appreciate that. She gave me her email address the first time I saw her and her phone number the second time, and she is the one that tells me to phone her after every visit.
You are right about the ball is in her court, if she wants anything to happen she will let you know. For now all we do is go out for breakfast a few times or the odd time for dinner. I know she is a very busy person and I appreciate the time we spend together. She calls me a friend and I would tend to believe her.

IMHO Anything that happens at a SC needs to be taken lightly. If a dancer gives you her # then play along--but don't take it too much to heart. It's a fantasy. As far as I can see there is no need to to anything differently with respect to this dancer. If you like her as a dancer then keep buying dances. If not, then don't. This whole idea of not buying dances in order to "get back at her" seems a little melodramatic. Don't take it all so seriously. It's fun...treat it as such.

You sound like a gem of a customer, primetime. It's no surprise that she treats you well and calls you a friend, if this is your attitude.
