I'm not gonna give a daily blow-by-blow of working there, but Friday was also quite good. This guy that just passed his Bar exam came in with a friend that worked in his firm with him. They were young and dressed in average clothes so no one paid much attention to them. My guy checks me out, I go over, we have dinner and talk for about an hour and then we do 2 hours in a room, the first with his friend. I did about 10 table dances on the floor later, left at 3 AM and then drove straight home to Baltimore. Whew! I am so friggin tired!

I want to thank all the people on this board that have been so supportive and nice over the last six weeks!

At work, most of the other dancers have been very nice and helpful, and I think tipping the hosts more than the standard 10% has helped me stay in their good graces. In fact, the host I had Friday was really instrumental in helping me get that last half hour.

I didn't work Thursday, but I heard it was bangin'. I treated myself to a manicure at my favorite cheapie Korean place and had a great 10 minute chair massage while there. Then I had dinner at Pastis where my waiter brought me a free glass of Champagne with my dinner. It was nice having a day to pamper myself a bit by treating myself without going overboard. It's hard to do that in New York, but I want to make the most out of the money I'm making at PEC, especially since December should be good, so that's a big fat no that Alexander McQueen outfit I was checking out...

I love it when a plan comes together--even when it's not mine (or yours, Nina, as the case may be).

Congrats.

Congrats ND!!!! I'm so happy your doing well there.

Now I'm just going to live out my fantasy of working somewhere like that through you. LOL
(I know I would NEVER get hired there)

Anyway hope you have more 2k+ nights soon!

Loves ya,
Kitana

That's very super, I'm glad you're doing well there! I'm really interested in hearing more about what it's like there- it sounds so different than the bars I'm used to!

But yes, it was a good night. I had a well-spending customer that was actually fun to be around and nice to me, plsu I got a new sexy gown! BTW, some of the dancers have gowns that are to die for! A few look like slightly more spandex-ized versions of high end designer gowns, a la, Badgley Mischka or Valentino! The place is wall-to-wall hot chicks.

It's a surreal environment. I know it's just a club, and I feel like a cheesedick for writing this, but I still can't quite believe I work there.

Gotta love the gown clubs 8) Good for you- a woman with as much class and wit as you deserves nothing less than the best !

PS-you too can have designer inspired costunes-- just find a dressmaker (I bet either the housemom is or knows one) and take them so pics of gowns you adore out of magazines or print from the net ;)

Congrats! It must be hard work in a club like that! I get so tired in the one I'm in and I don't even do a lot. Good luck to you!
