I felt something slap my thigh!! and looked down and hanging out of me was one of those things in the pictures .. it looked like a wet vine and was like a foot long.

Alrighty then! Did you scream? Because, honestly, I'd be screaming 'cause that's straight out of a horror movie.

All that said, I'm considering a VG-type regime myself. I guess it'll go nicely with my new, veggie-heavy diet and Bikram classes.

Hummm did someone move my lifestyle to LA while I was sleeping? :O

Pennygirl,
OMG, that is gross, but in a funny way. The only question I have, do you think maybe something in those colonics caused that to form in the intestine? It's possible.

Actually, that "lining" is caused by an improper diet. By consuming a lot more fiber and water, it helps "peel" that lining away and move it out. Once you do that your digestion will increase, as will your health.

I think what everyone is talking about is mucoid plaque. From everything I know the colon is SUPPOSED to be coated in mucus. It's secreted by intestines as protection from acids and toxins. It can be expelled through the use of all this colon cleanse stuff but why would you get rid of something that has an actual phisiological reason for being there?

No, there have been studies that show that there is a good coating inside the intestines...however, there is the other stuff that ISN'T supposed to be there...that adds to physical problems.

I researched this fully before I did it...while I do not do things just because its the "in" thing to do, I will do things that I need after a lot of thought and research.

All I know is that I feel bloated and miserable ALL the damn time. Me and constipation are like "this". As soon as I move into the new apartment...I am scheduling one of these colonics. A girlfriend of mine got one done, and she commented that she had no idea she could hold "that much" in her body. She said a few things came out looking almost whole.
Fiber supplements did nothing but make me extremely and violently gassy. I may try this drnatura though.

VG- this post started so long ago when you said you were doing it. Are you still? Anybody still?

And, after looking at all the nasty picks on all the websites, I too wondered if the cleanse stuff caused the wierd ropey thing. How come even after it comes out you have more. Is that much of the ropey stuff stuffed up inside you? Or does it just keep forming every few weeks?

Hyzenthflay,
Just a short term suggestion for you until you have time to get colonics. Try a stool softener such as Colace. It's not a laxative in the way that is does not cause extreme abdomial discomfort and the runs. I was turned onto it by one of my plastic surgeons. You know how when you take perscription pain killers they can make you constipated, he sugeested Colace. I always take four pills at bed time, only when I'm constipated, and sure enough when I wake up the next afternoon there is someone nocking at my back door ::) And none of the pain associated with laxativesand enemas.

I did it for 2 1/2 months. Great results. Had the nasty ropey thing. On a much cleaner/healthier diet, so I don't feel the need to do it again anytime soon (not that I would since I'm preggers). I think it really helped me clean out and start over with a new diet.

I refuse to shoot anything up my arse. LOL I did the fiber and tea from Dr. Natura. It was really good. I recommend it for anyone who needs a good "cleaning". Mind you, it's better to do this and while changing your diet (changing to a more healthy/fruit, veggie full diet). But, I've never been comfortable with colon irrigation...ever...and would never consider it. It's all personal preference.

Thank you! I think it's my bc that causes alot of it. I will look for that Colace because, yeah, I tried the cheap laxatives once and thought I would die from pain. I think I will try what VG used when I get the chance.

Honestly, I don't know if there is much of a difference between the two. I just "felt" better with the Colonix. Yeah, it's more expensive, but it was gentle and effective. Also, ColonBlow doesn't offer a whole lot of info on how their product works and the name kinda put me off. haahaa

Other than that, I really cannot say if one is better than the other. I just chose Colonix because of the info available. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Venus Goddess ,Thank you for getting back to me on this .

Yes, I UnderStand The Information Part, Because that is why I had to post this question here. I couldnt find all the information I needed on the colonblow site.

And The Name of that Stuff Scares Me too.

We Might give Colonblow a try mostly because we cant afford the colonix right now.

But the very thought of that stuff being the same stuff as the dumb and dummer Guy ,Having ExploSions on the Toilet bowl For an Hour, Creeps me Out!!!

I can Just See myself Doing that ,And Having all My Kids Knockin On the Bathroom door waiting to get in to use the bathroom .
That dude looked like he was in some seriouse dire streights.

I Wonder If anyone On here at all has given the colonBlow a Try????

Silky No, I Believe there are 2 Kits. You should be able to see that in the ordering info.
