Hi I have a question. Does anyone here do private parties? The company Erotic Angels of New York is looking to hire me and they do private corporate events, bachelor parties, etc. I've only danced in a club a long time ago. They company provides security to accompany you and the pay is very good. But my question is what is expected, are there any tips or tricks I should learn? Any party game ideas, etc. It's fully nude work, so any advice would be helpful.

Thanks so much,
Lenore

I've done 'em. Would ONLY recommend them thru a "reputable" agency. Now, how you judge "reputable" is a toughie.

The money is less than a night of dancing in a good club, but you work a LOT less.

Like Susan says if you go through an agency expect less for a "stripping party." Also you need to ask the company straight up what to expect and what not to expect doing.

If you like doing private parties, maybe think about going it alone (no agency) you set the price and make very good money! Always have a security person driving you, going in with you and taking you home. They are fun! But i would not like doing them with other dancers. I am greedy, i want ALL the money. }:D

Anyway check out the company. Write a list, and ask ALL the questions, expect to do nothing you don't want to.

Good luck,

Pamela

: ) hey pamela!

i did a bachelor party as a favor - my friend's regular partner didn't show at last minute.

anyway--it was definitely a novelty for me, and was the first time doing a lesbian show. but i also made sooooo much money w/in a 3 1/2 hr time i couldn't believe it!! (she works independently w/her other girl friends doing private shows).

but i think if ever again, i'd have to agree w/you ; )

Wow! Over 3 hours long! Yep makes for good money! I only go 45 to 1 hour max. I have had a few exceptions however.

You can make so much more than the clubs! And you call the shots, which i really like. Also i do shower and dildo shows so it's kind of a cross-over into another direction...Lol. No sex with customers..EVER.

Glad you liked it!

Pamela

omg--that's exactly where all the money was made (hence, the 3 1/2 hrs......i think the show was only about 40 min or so, but the rest of the time were guys, one after the other, wanted "individual private show"!)

but my friend also can be a bit.....crazy: her last tip came from one of the guys who shared a cab ride home w/us, and she "finished him" right then and there!

btw pamela, do you know anything about Pure Talent Agency? (i'm looking to start travelling around the US and all)

Pamela

ooh sorry so slow to answer. :-\ I no nothing of Pure Talent. I work for myself and a company (escort) out of West Palm Bch.

Someone else here may know of them.

She finished him off in the cab....../:O

Well it makes for MORE money!! I am too damn scared for that. But they watch while i screw myself and shower and they do get to pour fluids (not theirs..lol) over me naked body. Buy yes alot of times the guys want to hang after, but i negotiate money over the phone before the party, so i try to keep that part fairly short.

Thanks for all the info guys! The company owners are letting me come to a show to observe a dancer before I start, so I can be sure of what I'm getting into. I really think this is a pretty reputable agency- but I'd really like to start in a club. However, it being winter and all this is the supposedly 'slow' season, so there's no reason why I couldn't do it and still try to find work in a club. I think I'd be comfortable doing shower shows, but not dildo. How much would you charge for a shower show?

Oh! About going without an agency- how do you procure a bouncer if I were to do that? And any tips on self promotion and checking out backgrounds and how to start such a business?

For me it was easy starting. As i work around lots of doctors, and know lots of engineers. Word of mouth goes very very far in this business.

I have a male friend who gets a cut being my security, he loves it!

I negotiate all $$$ on the phone. Seems there is always a shower show. Dildo show 80% of the time. Stripping, ld's always. I charge depending on how many people and how long. I hate going over 45 minutes though.

I have 1 guy who likes a private once a month now, and he likes me to do all i mentioned now, before he just wanted a strip and ld. He's kinda shy, but very nice.

I really don't want to say what i charge him for an hour but it's over $500 at this point, hey he has money and he's lonely, it works. And he wants to tip out, but so far, it's no, i will say i change out alot for him and it's hard work, as he likes to be pleased, that is why he will offer up good enough money for an hour. I can't accept tips for private shows i do. Or at least it's better not to. NO sex with any guys. A big no-no for me.

Listen to Pamela...I found a "juiced up ape" at a gym I used to train at and he was my personal bodygaurd/driver...be careful of agencies since MANY are just outcall places that are setting you up...if you can come up with GOOD/GREAT wardrobe and work the crowd well, it isn't unrealistic to do some low mileage work with showing some pink and taking away 400-600 net for 1-2 hours work...and the best part is that it's pretty steady and only weekends...so if you wanted you could still work a club Sun-Thurs...and not deal with all the frat brats and low renttypes at the club on the weekends...just my .02

Most security guys I know. Are professional fighters... fighting doesnt pay much so they need extra income. They are usually better than your normal steroid freaks... because they arent looking for fights and they know how to stay calm in situations to defuse them. In NYC I know of quite a few...

It just occurred to me. Why does everyone see the need to start stripping right away. Most of the girls/guys I know started out go-going.

You learn the moves, you figure out how the business works from the other dancers. Most girls/guys i know still dance go go a bit.

Is it against the law to do private parties, I would like to represent myself and have an exceptional corprate/business head but do you need a state licence (live in VA) or something of that nature. I want to set my hours and price, that way I can pay Uncle Sam what I would have given an agency....

The best way to do private parties is to be in business for yourself. No agency to take a cut.
I own my own business and I do qwite well. I have several girls that work for/with me. I do not take any of their money.
I market myself. I have developed relationships with several contacts in the Dallas area.
There is a limo company that has party busses and they do bachelor parites on the bus. I provide the dancers and they are paid $300 up front plus tips. I made $1700 in one party. I don't do that well every time but I average $800-900 per party.
My husband is my security. (the limo company even pays him to go.)
I get to set all the limits and I am in complete control.
By eliminating the agency middle man I screen my own customers and make my own schedule.
Best of all I don't have to spend a ton of money marketing. I have a website and the rest is word of mouth and thru my other sorces like the limo company.

Don't always feel like you need to eliminate an agency. Sometimes they're the only ones who know where you are and can call to find your body in an emergency. >_>

I don't cut out the middle man/agencies as they do all the hard work for me. All I have to do is accept or decline a booking... and do the bookings I am booked to do! I don't have to worry about marketing or any of that other jazz in re: being an agency.

I would only go independant when I can guarantee myself enough on-going business however I havn't been doing this all that long ............and esp. showgirl wise I havn't developed a fan base (as such) as yet because unfortunately it is just plain competative here in S.E.Qld.

Darwin is a different matter. I'm trying to establish myself there (do three week contract once every two to three months) .............and same with Mackay since it is just so competative where I live for shows I am looking to work in other areas/markets (as such).

Except I still refuse to cut out the agencies as then I don't have to worry about alot... I just feel safer working thru the agencies as then someone else knows where I am.
