Hey Susan I just got lambasted for the first time on SCL, too. I wrote a little response and got backed up by three other dancers, so I'm happy.
Any PR is good PR, in my book. :D

That's so silly. When you posted the link to your calendar pics, I called my boyfriend over to look at you and we both sat there and drooled for a couple of minutes.
I occasionally get insulting emails through my website; they don't get responses but go into my "entertaining emails" folder. And like your SCL review, I'm sure they were all written by incredibly handsome and successful people ;).

I took a look at the website--seems like a lot of jilted customers and dancers. Two words for that--sour grapes.
And I noticed that written in bright red, it was stated that there was to be no bashing--yet there's a ton of thoughtless comments. You have to PAY to have comments removed? Hmmm, the mind behind that website is one smart one; they realize that where there are beautiful women and insecure ugly people, there are ugly rumors and slander. "Want to have the comments made by all the jealous cowards removed? Pay us, and we'll remove 'em." Smart.
Susan-Va, 50? Hahahahahahahahah, I don't think so.

I agree with all the other words of encouragement. As others pointed out, even though it stings when you read it, remember that any publicity is good publicity, even the bad stuff. It'll cause others to check you out to judge for themselves, and then the truth will become obvious. If I were a SC customer, the only way I'd use that site's posts as a resource is if I were going to believe the opposite of what it had to say. Most intelligent people can recognize an online environment full of BS when they smell it. And the ones who can't, you don't want those cretins anyway. 8)

Okay. I had a similar issue once, I clicked on "remove comment", it said that if I wanted it removed immediately I should pay 15, otherwise it would take a couple of weeks. I opted not to pay, under reasons cited "obviously inappropriate" and it was gone in 2 days. I would certainly recommend trying it, at least.
I think getting paid to remove anonymous trash talk seems to be how they make money, (aside from those annoying flashing ads in the margins). Here's the SCL comment removal policy:
Comment Removal Form
Immediate Comment Removal takes less than 24 hours. To remove a comment, please fill out the form below once the form goes through please click on the paypal button and you will be able to select how many comments are to be removed.
Comment removal is $5 for the first comment and $2.50 for each additional comment.
Please add your email address to the notes on the paypal payment page. Once we receive payment, we will remove the comments immediately and send you an email to verify removal of comment(s)
I found the following to be particularly ironic...
Comments may also be removed for free but may take up to 2 weeks to be removed due to the high volume of comment removal forms we receive.
Okay, they let just anyone waltz in on their website, no registration whatsoever, and they have a backlog of comment removal forms. Uhh gee, you think? :O
I don't know who the actual source of that vitriol is, but Its nothing new for rival clubs to use the SCL boards as a way to anonymously slam their competition. The comment boards for a couple of rival clubs in Topeka are some of the nastiest that I've ever seen. The good thing is that most customers don't know those boards exist, and most who do know that they're full of bullshit.
And Susan, if I didn't know you were 35, I'd have guessed 28 based on your signature pic. Don't let some anonymous sourass bring you down.

i think it was the chick in breakfast at tiffanys ( her name is on the tip of my toungue...argh) who once said " i dont mind bad press about me,as long as its not true" or somethign to that affect.
so who really cares what that dude thinks,or any other negative customer thinks, hes too weak to say it to your face, HES the loser, and he doesnt deserve your beautiful face or body to be within a foot of his nasty ass.
screw him, hold your head high, hell if i can still dance at 25 and look as hot as you,ill be stoked :)

Man, if she were REALLY 50 (but not so) and actually looked like that, it would be incredibly inviting. All the more reason to be impressed. At least for me.
I knew a dancer who also looked similarly fine as Susan, and she was 40. She directly stated to me that she was looking for a boyfriend. Stupid me, I ignored all the implications. Man, that is just about my biggest "kick-me" of all time.

You guys are great! I love Stripperweb!
The only bad press is no press, it's when they stop talking about me that I need to worry. It's turned into a joke at the club, I half expect for my b-day I will get a walker. I told my friend Kit that he said her tattoos were white trash and now "White Trash Beautiful" by Everlast is her new favorite song!
Thanks agian for all the support!

Way to go, Susan!
Just to lay this to rest: Everyone gets that Susan is really 35 now, right? This 50 thing keeps popping up in some of the later posts here in spite of the fact that it's been debunked. Calling her 50 was the cretin customer's way of being insulting. Nothing like friends being supportive but missing some important nuance. That's how rumors stick. At one of my old jobs, I once was the victim of gossip that I had an affair with a guy which I hadn't had. Everyone comes running to my support with "No matter how many married men you've slept with, you are a wonderful person and do a great job." :O Hey!!!

This looks to be a situation for carefull application of "Madcap's Rules to live by #12."
Madcap's Rules to Live by #12 reads thusly,
If someone likes me, great! Too little of that in the world. If not... stuff 'em! End of story.
There are REAL reasons to stress in this world, some faceless dude on the internet throwing a tantrum isn't one of them.

Sometimes other girls go on there and say shit about girls from their club who make more money.
SO TRUE! there is a way you can get him banned from ever commenting on that site, call the # and tell them, they will have it erased at no cost to you because that person is breaking the rules.

Susan,
This is a really important little piece of info..Iknow of a club owner who got so fed up with the negative comments about his girls (he was aware of the posts on stripclublist, of course), that he called up stripclublist and got them to remove the comments....For his club, because it is one of the best in the area, it just wasnt good for the girls nor his business..this cured the problem....
