These are my opinions based on what was in the story link. If others disagee with my point of view, fine by me.
That explains it--the story link is incomplete and selling the usual tripe Newsweek is good at pushing with regards to foreign policy (US = bad). If you actually watch the Getty Images' photographer's short video clip and listen to what happened in his own words--found here (http://javascript%3Cb%3E%3C/b%3E:OCW%28%27/id/6871483/site/newsweek/%27,%20%27_blank%27,%27width=790,height=530,resiza ble=no,status=no,scrollbars=no,fullscreen=no,locat ion=no,menubar=no,titlebar=no,toolbar=no,%27%29;), since he was actually there, you might come away with an understanding of the event rather than putting forth ridiculous ideas like shooting out tires and casting aspersions on the patrol and its leadership for making a tough call in a tough situation.
