Hmmm.. I definitely wouldn't presume to know what's on anyone's mind either, especially Pryce's. But, I do think that a little hint may be found right on the main page of this site:

Welcome to the Stripper Web community. We are the worlds largest, most comprehensive, and active exotic dancer community online or offline! In short, StripperWeb is the place for exotic dancers and feature dancers to find support and advice. Most of our members gather to talk about dancing, learn to improve skills, keep updated on industry news, and just hang out! Most content here has been provided by the wonderful members of our community.

There you have it.

Evan - why are you so cool? I want to print out your mockery, frame it and put it on my fridge.

I just did that. It's not on the fridge yet, but on its way.

love

Evan, that is hands-down one of the best posts I've ever read in my life. Classic. I think I'll print that one out and hang it up also! Good job girl. :rotfl:

Evan, that was BRILLIANT. You rock. And yet...some people, who have made three posts after yours must not be able to read, because they've pretty much written exactly what you've described. Except the whole part about how we're supposed to be thankful that he's bestowing us poor dumb girls with the unmitigated truth. There are several members who are carbon copies of one another in that respect. To all of you, I say: Gee thanks, Mr. Creepy, I wouldn't know if my head was screwed on unless you were here to remind me of it!

GAWD...guys, if you want to bust a nut, I'm all for it, but please get a bottle of Astroglide and some paper towels, and do it the right way. This mental masturbation, repeating the same tired old sh*t ad nauseum to prove how smart you are only makes you look really sad.

Too bad your ignore list is full. They really gotta do something about that.

I've had some issues with certain male members on this site but I'm glad you wrote what I feel I've been restricted from writing for a while now.

VG is totally right when she states that the intended purpose of the site was for industry folk, but as I'm sure many of us know, the reality is that where naked chicks dwell, horny dumb guys will follow. At a club it's easy to just walk away from these freak jobs, but here you have to wade through their posts to find the useful nuggets.

A pay site would likely help weed out the riff-raff.

Evan, that was hilarious! My son (he's 23) walked by and said, "Oh, like a Mad-lib". I guess that was a "Stripper-lib".

LOL. I noticed that too. Then I cracked up again while easily equating that drivel to EE's stripper lib.

I've tried to stay out of this, to the point of starting up a parallel post in Customer Conversation (and shutting it down when it started to turn bad)......................

.... but, Ev, I've got to say, that was freakin wonderful. Class A. Professional-level humor.

*frank admiration*

I was wondering what happened to that thread. LOL

And the perfect written distillation of a pattern behavior. This kind of insight is what makes SW great.

Cool Evan_essance:) , I'll just set up a little random thread generator using your script and that'll save me all kinds of..of...of......./:O

Oh wait, ..........that's not what you meant, huh?:-[

Anyway, what I noticed that might contribute just a hair to the thought that this forum wasn't limited to dancers only was the description under the forum name.

Have a topic about stripping but it doesn't fit in the other sections below? Then it belongs here!

So, if that's what people want, the description could be changed to indicate that this area was for dancers to post about stripping or strippers to post about dancing, or some such thing.:-\ Because, well, the male mind often needs rather explicit directions.

It does seem though, that there's plenty of room to be irritating dorks in customer conversation, the lounge, etc., so at least marginal seriousness, and on-topicness would be good here. After all we don't want to anger the goddess of love who watches with her whip at the ready.:)

However, I just coulden't imagine SW without Mojo,Jayzeno,doc,CO,A-guy,silverback,djoser,sonicbones,mr.christopher and a few others whose name I can't rememer at the moment.

And, thanks Magdelena, this community would be dimminished without you, as well.

Adina... your post is incredibly rude but I'll be polite in response.

Please feel free to say "Thorn" instead of "someone" when you obviously mean me. It's the grown up thing to do.

Query: Compare and contrast EE's post to my own? Explain how what I wrote in anyway follows the guideline she layed out?

Finally, I never said anyone should be thankful for anything I've posted. I simply suggested they should recognize respect when they see it.

Now, please, and I mean this in all sincerity, follow your own advise and read. Oh, and one more thing... anger management. Its coming out of you in waves so strong its pallable across the electron stream.

Thorn, who can't understand why politely speaking one's mind has to result in so much angst. If you don't like what I have to say just disagree. You don't have to get NASTY about it.

Nina, is this what you truly want?

You know I have to totally agree with you. Men are such cretins. All except for me of course because I know you are right. Everything that every dancer posts here is so dead on the money that I have nothing to contribute other then my fawning gratitude for having been allowed to read it. I am so appreciative that you even allow a guy like me to hang with you cool chicks.

Is that really the level of dialog you want, and expect? I wouldn't have thought so reading most of your other posts. I would have thought you wanted direct and thoughtful responses, even if they disagreed with you, because they indicate that the person on the other end actually read what you had to say, gave it serious thought, and the respect to reply to you as a person rather then simply a sex object.

VG is totally right when she states that the intended purpose of the site was for industry folk, but as I'm sure many of us know, the reality is that where naked chicks dwell, horny dumb guys will follow. 1) Some of the guys you are complaining about ARE industry folk. For instance, It's quite possibe that I have worked in more strip-clubs then you have. [I'm guessing here, but it is somewhere around 30 strip-clubs I have worked in directly or placed security crews in trained and supervised by myself. Add the dance and rock clubs and that number goes up dramatically.]

2) Not all guys who disagree with someone here are dumb. I can only speak for myself but I don't think I could have been the self-made success story I have become and be dumb. I doubt I am singular in that. I am sure many of the guys attempting to speak to the issues the dancers here bring up are speaking their mind fairly, and only trying to get honest opinion into the conversation.

3) Horny I'll cop to. But I'd hardly use a site like this to deal with it. There is nothing mastabatory about the dialog going on here. In fact, nothing could possibly kill a boner faster then reading the true impression that some of the dancers here actually have about men, in general, and those of us trying to share intellectual notions with them in particular.

Thorn, who will never drink the Kool Aid. Not even if he were promised 72 virgins in the next life. ;D 8)

Huh? Where did it say anything about wanting anything? And where did I write that I just wanted sycophantic posting from the men? And I did not say (or even intend to imply) that all guys on this site were dumb, so stop taking things so personally already. By the way, I'm aware that at work I basically make my living being a sex object, but that doesn't automatically preclude me being treated with respect and human decency at work. It's the men who make that distinction razor-sharp that I have problems with.

And no, I won't factor in the rock clubs, because they're uh, rock clubs and not strip clubs.

I do believe that it is a relatively small number of male posters that are causing the problems, but the bottom line is that it's not my place to decide who those people are. They're just my opinions, I just voice them forcefully.

Ok...this thread has run it's course.

Thanks for everyone's opinions, but I can see we are just starting to go in circles. ;)
