Greetings!!
This site has been so helpful...I am not a stripper, just having fun pretending for my husband. I did a 5 song routine for him and he loved it, thanks to everyone's tips, hints and advice. His birthday is coming up and he wants a cheerleader routine, can you all recommend some songs, hints and tips for me to do for him? The only song that has been recommended is "Oh Mickey", I would like at least 4 or 5 more.
Thanks so much, you are a true set of professionals and I totally respect you!!

Add J Geiles Band Centerfold to that list too. I know it's not really a cheerleader song, but it fits the theme, and they just sound good together.

You might want to have this moved to the music section. Our DJ's here are awesome with song sets and such. That's where they usually like to lurk, at least for a little while.

There is Mickey, and thats about it really. centerfold is good. Another song I like to dance to is Intuition by Jewel and Samantha Fox's Touch Me. For slowing it down Marvin Gayes sexual healing.

I know there is a cheerleading remix of "Hit Me with your best shot" by Pat Benatar. It's VERY cheerful. :/ You can download it on Winmx.

Mandy Moore, "Candy" It's really girly and fits the cheerleader image.

Hell, yes, that'd work!

Good suggestions from all. The only one I can think of offhand would be Nirvana's "Smells like Teen Spirit" (remember the video?), but I think the above suggestions are a lot better, since this song is a bit on the darker side.

I'm trying to remember, but I think we may have had a thread about this in Music Mix a while back.

Later...hey, what about Mariah Carey's "Sweetheart"? I forget if I have the remix or not, but it's got a great beat, and has that innocent, but oh so naughty appeal...

No one remembers how upbeat these songs are: Britney Spear's "...Baby One More Time," Jessica Simpson's "I Think I'm In Love With You" or Nada Surf's "Popular"

i used to have a rock girl who did a sorts grunged out lookin' cheerleader outfit routine to "smells like teen spirit" and she'd follow it up with "Be Agressive" by faith no more. it has that "B-e A-g-g-r-e-s-s-i-v-e! AGRESSIVE!" chant in it that you may recall from your high school pep rally days. (Oh, and manson totally ripped it off for "Mobscene". so maybe that would work too.) i once saw a girl use Queen's "we will rock you" too.

Gwen Stefani "Hollaback Girl"

That's what I was going to suggest.
Have you all seen the new video for that song? I fall more in love with her every time she does something new. How can someone be so talented, cool, and beautiful.

Anway, Hollaback Girl is a great cheerleader song.
