View Full Version : The first time I got paid for sex

I took care of three racing sailboats when I was a kid (16).

There is a lot of maintenance required on sailboats.

A school friend of mine worked as a dock boy. He did errands for the rich people who owned the boats.

When he was going on vacation he asked me to cover for him.

I did and one day while carrying groceries for an older woman from her car to her yacht I got a $100.00 tip for services rendered in addition to carrying the groceries.

I didn’t think much of it.

She would call occasionally after that and some of her friends would call and I would get more tips.

Later in life when I was in college I tended bar for a restaurant that did a lot of catering. Banquet bartenders are like fixtures no one even notices you are there.

We did a party for a Ballet fundraiser. The ballet dancers were mingling with the rich folks. The men were all old and with big bellies and well dressed and drinking too much. The women were all old and well-preserved and drinking wine.

I wasn’t paying much attention; at first I thought the women were discussing their pets but then it occurred to me they were discussing the anatomy and performance of the male ballet dancers in bed and trading notes.

This shocked me because at that age I thought all male ballet dancers were gay. Then I realized as the old guys got out their checkbooks to fund the ballet that the reason the money was being paid was so the old women could get laid by ballet dancers.

I don’t have a problem with prostitution. The first time I took money for sex it did not change my life in any measurable way.

Is this just because I am a guy?

i think guys can enjoy sex with someone they don't know a lot more than women can. how old were these ladies, btw?

When I was 16 they seemed real old. Thinking back about it now probably 40 or 50.

I was with a fun friend who said, "I should pay YOU for your time." I let her give me a Jackson so we would both be in the same boat. But it was for time, not sex. :)

I don't believe this story for a second. Although I do know many male ballet dancers (my cousin is a ballerina) and they are not all gay, but at least 50% are gay.

The thing that I found unusual, and we catered functions in three or four major cities, the ballerinas were not whores just the male dancers. Interesting eh?

Of course you would assume the ballerinas are whores, you fuckstick :(

I thought this post was bit on the strange side... More generalization = blah... I've seen enough of it lately on this board. There's no creativity in generalization. It only takes a few brain cells.

Dear Moneywise,

Speaking of brain cells, takes only a few to read. I related a personal experience about taking money for sex and said it did not bother me. I asked if it bothered anyone else. I wondered if it was just a male thing.

I think you have generalizations and political correctness overflowing in what few brain cells you exhibit in the above post.

Try using a few more to read and you might get the content of the post. I take money for sex and I don’t feel bad about it. Do you?

Moneywise, perhaps you have a personal story to relate about the last time you gave money for sex or someone gave you money for sex, I don’t know. How did it make you feel to pay someone for sex? Did you find it degrading to you? Did you feel like you were in control of them? Try to stay on topic and if you don’t have anything personal to add stick it in your ear and move on to a thread that you have something creative to say instead of just being a negative typist.

Dearest Mark,

I read your post thoroughly and still didn't find any interest in your overt generalization of one particular sector of our society. Perhaps having something personal to contribute might have helped me better understand the overall point of your topic. Please forgive me for offering up an opinion on a rather strange post.

Please also understand that I will continually offer my opinion whenever I so desire. I also appreciate contructive criticism of said opinon as I will have no qualms countering the opinions of others; remaining consistent with my life's behavior thus far. Thank you for your thoughtful letter and best wishes to you and yours.

Yours Truly,

Mr. Negative

moneywise, shouldn't you be busy kissing some woman's ass right about now?

03-12-2005, 05:11 PM
Ok since you were so nice I will try again. I think guys me in particular and guys in general almost 100% would take cash for sex without batting an eye or thinking there was anything wrong with it.

It has not been my experience that women feel the same way.

Taking cash for sex does not make me feel dirty. Taking cash for sex does not make me want to run to confession.

I am more inclined to brag about getting paid for sex than hide it.

Last year I took in about 20 grand for sex and paid out about 30. So I came up a little on the short side.

This year I hope to do a little better but who knows the year is young. All in all this is a whole lot better than I did when I was married. My last wife cost me a hell of a lot more than 10 grand a year. How about you Moneywise, how much did you pay for sex last year?

moneywise, shouldn't you be busy kissing some woman's ass right about now?

That's never stopped me. I'm a pretty good multitasker. ;)

Generalization is lame.

All white men can't jump.
All asian men suck in bed.
All black men have poles stretching from NY to Cali.
All men are dogs.
All plumbers display the crack.
All Wal-Mart greeters are happy.
All cops wake up everyday looking for that next donut.
All middle eastern people are terrorists.
All dancers come from abusive backgrounds.
All female porn stars live for the cock.
All garbage men have no goals in life.
All politicians are crooked.

How about you Moneywise, how much did you pay for sex last year?

It's not something I have ever sat down and quantified. Paying for sex encompasses everything you do leading up to intercourse. Dinner, going to the movies, etc etc...

I haven't paid an escort for sex "yet" if that's what you're referring to. Though I am open to exploring that option if the need ever presented itself (came very close in Vegas after a looker showed up at my hotel room door).

Sitting down and quantifying it all would bore me. I much prefer to just enjoy life's thrills as they take place with no worry of the money involved. In other words, I trust myself to make the right decisions where it pertains to my money.
