I understand she is 5...I'm the father of a 7 and 8 yr old, if my kids acted the way she did I would hope being cuffed would teach them that society(and I) will not stand for that kind of behavior.
As for walmart..it does seem to have more than it's fair share of bratty kids doesn't it?

Back in my day, they would've taken a ruler to her. That's how they hand out punishments in Catholic grammar schools. She obviously had a discipline problem so the parents here obviously didn't do their job. If they set limits at home, this wouldn't happen in a public place.

She may have been five....but she was placing herself at risk...and since you can beat the little shits, or touch them...what the hell are you supposed to do? Say "pretty pretty please with sugar on top"?

It's been on "Current Affair", Jesse Jackson is now involved, he's referring her mom to an attorney. Tomorrow, the incident in the girl's own words. The way she trashed that room they had to do something intense.

Current Affair...LOL tv journalism at it's finest one segment of a crazy murder story then the next segment about goats that faint when they are surprised... LOL.. They could have gone on 20/20, 60 minutes, etc... but the only news show they will talk to is Current Affair?? That's pretty much the bottom of the barrell.

You FORGET that Cops are people who, not only have to follow RULES, but try to make sure we follow RULES too. This is what happens when police are called. Always (almost). They need their pensions too.
If parents don't want this to happen in their school distructs, it is up to THEM to get their bored of education to authorize a plan and Funds to carry it out.
Let's be a little more realistic and a little less idealistic. It is a real world out there.
If parents cannot handle their kids, or get help to do so, then they should have NOT become parents. Of course society has to deal with all those mistakes they made but realize only in hindsight.
Hey, maybe that's why it is a real world out there.
