Verfolgung, I can't wait to hear your review of the pole! I love the pole, and have been using it daily (actually just got off a 40 minute twirl around it). I am getting much better at pole tricks, and it makes for a great workout too.

The only problem I've had is that neither my husband nor I can get the two long pole pieces unscrewed now. I'll have to have one of our stronger guy friends come over to try to get them apart. Let me know if you have the same problem...

I read this entire thread carefully, purchases all the equipment, religiously used the wd40 and rubber wrenches when needed, did my first pole dance party last night, and lo and behold, the two long pieces seem like they are welded together. It was the first time I didn't use the oil, remembering that someone in this thread said it didn't need to be done every time.

I'm frustrated, angry, irritated. I only bought the friggin pole just over a month ago. And now I can't even use the huge, heavy case it came with.

Has anyone has these issues with lil mynx cause I'm thinking of switching loyalties?

For anyone else purchasing the super pole - I recommend using the lube EVERY TIME YOU PUT THE POLE UP. It's a pain and it stinks. But at least my pole would still work for my business if I hadn't skipped it this one time.

PS. I ordered an extension through sassysummer and it came promptly! Excellent service. :)

Okay, my bf got it apart - and for all those with a similar problem...

This is what we did:

He put the rubber wrenches on, dripped some wd40 down the inside of the pole, then (with the pole upright) he got me to tap the pole with a hammer (very lightly) while he pulled on the rubber wrenches.

AND IT WORKED! YAY

What a relief. I will never put it up without oiling it first again!

I didn't realize I could order my extension from sassysummer or I would have done that. I ordered it form PS website and it came pretty quickly though. Now I just need help putting it up. I will be sure to put the WD40 on it. I tried to put it up when I first moved but it wasn't long enough so I had to get the other piece. Now I have the new piece but I need help putting it up.
