View Full Version : Too big honestly how many guys would buy dances from me?

Why is it more guys don't invest in making their wives prettier buy going to the gym 3-4 days a week together, going shopping frequently together and helping her choose flattering, stylish clothes, encouraging her to go to Jenny Craig, have her nails done every 2 weeks, wear nice heels with her jeans, always wear makeup, and have a stylish hairstyle?
That's a fairly simplistic view of how one would go about trying to force life changes in another person. "Honey, put the cheese cake down and step AWAY from the table". If someone wants to better themselves it has to be because THEY want to better themselves, not to keep their husbands out of the titty bars. It won't work anyway. We go because we want variety, not because the little woman has gained a few pounds.
Many guys are sooo critical, yet they don't have 6 pack abs and aren't GQ dressers themselves.
I don't understand how this has anything to do with the strip club experience. We are paying you to look and act sexy and beautiful. The last time I checked dancers wanted our money. When did OUR looks become an issue?
If you are sleeping with the kind of woman you wouldn't patronize in a strip club, some inner soul searching is needed, isn't it?
Huh?

If you are sleeping with the kind of woman you wouldn't patronize in a strip club, some inner soul searching is needed, isn't it?I'm with Yoda scratching my head at this one. Strip clubs and real life are two completely different worlds, I'd have thought you would have realized that by now.
I don't realize the 2 different worlds. Not when it comes to male chauvinism.
Just because a girl is a dancer doesn't mean she should be looked at any differently than a woman a guy would date or marry.
If you wouldn't criticaize a woman for being a little overweight in a marriage or dating situation then it shouldn't be done in a strip club. If one lives in a glass house they shouldn't throw stones.
Too many guys go into a strip club acting like big assholes and downgrading the dancers when these same guys are ugly themselves. That same behavior is why women are not on equal status with men in society.
I can accept men having certain tastes in women. But when "some" strip club customers diss dancers who look no different than the women they are with in life, that is hypocritical.
I am not really into this fantasy stuff. I look at a strip club as a place for guys to go to "kick it" and have a drink or 2 in a relaxing environment, while enjoying a few dances and some conversation with the woman of their choice.

Hang on a second--now, it's never nice to say something openly rude to someone who doesn't match our particular preferences. But I think it's safe to say that the appeal of strip clubs is that there are women there who aren't wives or girlfriends but rather simply sex objects who are less hassle than SOs and, just maybe, more attractive. Being physically attractive is supposed to be part of the deal for strippers, and we have a pretty damn wide range in which to do so. You can be buff or skinny or voluptuous, Caucasian or Latina or Black, blonde, brunette, ginger or pink-haired, 18 or 40, and as long as you're healthy and proportionate you can do quite well for yourself.
I certainly don't want to work in a club full of average-looking women; especially not in Texas where, what, three of the top five fattest cities in the U.S. are located. I don't advocate that we all look like Pamela Anderson or Paris Hilton, but I do advocate making the most of what we have and not thinking "well, hell, if it's what he married it must be what he wants to see for fun."
Now, I think it's a little fucked up the way that some men see certain women as the kind you marry but not the kind you think of as sexual objects--and see others as fantasy material but unsuitable for real life. But that's sort of the paradigm we're working in here. I am a totally suitable wife for one man and one man only; anyone else would find me totally irritating except for the good head. In the club, though, I'm suitable for entertaining lots of different types of people.
What the hell is so wring with looking at another type? Shit, my husband loves hot Latina porn and I am a pasty gal of Scottish descent. I could care less. I like looking at [a particular kind of porn I won't tell your sensitive ears about] that is totally far from him.
And bear in mind, Tina, that if these wives slutted it up a bit, a considerable part of our market would go out the window: those wives' husbands' horny friends who decide to pick up her newly Yogalates toned ass instead of hitting on strippers.

When we're paying it's not chauvinism, it' shopping.
Just because a girl is a dancer doesn't mean she should be looked at any differently than a woman a guy would date or marry.
Well, not really, I'm paying you to entertain me, not to date me or marry me. I wouldn't pay to see a movie I'm not interested in or a band I don't like any more than I would pay a dancer who doesn't appeal to me.
If you wouldn't criticaize a woman for being a little overweight in a marriage or dating situation then it shouldn't be done in a strip club. If one lives in a glass house they shouldn't throw stones.
I don't sit in a SC and openly rip dancers who don't appeal to me. I just don't spend money on them. Your "glass houses" analogy doesn't make any sense here, it should be somewhere in your next paragraph.
Too many guys go into a strip club acting like big assholes and downgrading the dancers when these same guys are ugly themselves. That same behavior is why women are not on equal status with men in society.
I'm not very tolerant of guys who act like jerks in strip clubs but the issue of equality goes quite a bit deeper than jerks heckling fat strippers.
Weather you agree or not, a strip club is an environment where women are judged (at least at the outset) by there looks. OUR looks have nothing to do with the strip club dynamic as recognized by those who choose to profit from it (most dancers).
If a customer's looks matter to you I can guarantee that you are not making nearly as much money dancing as you could be.
I can accept men having certain tastes in women. But when "some" strip club customers diss dancers who look no different than the women they are with in life, that is hypocritical.
So what? Guys that do this will do it in line at the DMV, in a coffee shop or at the ball game. The women we are married to or involved with are, presumably, the women we love and choose. The women we ogle at the SC or in any public place are sex objects. Nothing more.
I am not really into this fantasy stuff. I look at a strip club as a place for guys to go to "kick it" and have a drink or 2 in a relaxing environment,
I would tend to share your view but, again, as customers some of us might just decide we'd rather buy a dance from a woman who is not a carbon copy of the little lady waiting at home.
while enjoying a few dances and some conversation with the woman of their choice.
Even if she doesn't look like our wife or our girlfriend?? Cool!

OK, wait a minute. Why is it "fucked up" to go to the strip club without the ultimate goal being sex, sex surrogacy or stimulation of future sexual activity? I would think that dancers would WANT to be seen as unattainable, fantastical ladies.
Further, how does going to the strip clubs mean that we do not see our wives as sexual objects? the assumption is that there is some SEX-based need that is otherwise unfulfilled, and the visit to the club is to address that.
This is part of the reason I don't read the pink side. (The other part being the constant bashing of custy's for being custy's that I have observed in my few visits there.) There is an assumption that, because we are customers, we are there for a sex. I have never asked a dancer for sex or a sex act of any kind. I have never sought a relationship OTC that wasn't not professional in nature and intended to facilitate activites ITC. I LOVE going to strip clubs, and that has NO impact on my sex life. Yeah, I said it. In fact, I have had rare occasions where dancers have complained to me that I am not more obviously physically stimulated. (God knows why! Work ethic, maybe???)
Maybe it is just that I LOVE women. I Love to flirt, to look and to enjoy their company. Maybe I didn't date enough in high school. Maybe God felt there needed to be a counterbalance to mr_punk, the ultimate PL/white knight/whatever. I don't know. But I object to the assertation of the innate evil nature of the strip club customer.
AND, I don't think I am the exception. Sure I am here, on SCJ...but I don't think I am in the body of strip club attendees. And, if that makes me naive, then there I will comfortably sit.

P.S.
I don't advocate that we all look like Pamela Anderson or Paris Hilton....
Ok, I'm with you on the former but when did the latter become an ideal of feminine beauty. Personally, I can't see any attraction there. That woman just scares me...
Pretty much every single poster in this thread is completely full of shit in their own unique creative way.
Ack! She caught me. Fair enough, but it is still my opinion...:P

Chill, GW. Nowhere in that post did I say that you were coming to the clubs for sex, and I overtly acknowledged that our business requires that we be seen as objects. Sheesh. Here I am defending your right to hang out in a club and pass judgement on women and you fuckin' jump up my ass. Have another cup of coffee and reread.

Would I buy a dance from you? Not me. I prefer girl-next-door types. Now as to whether or not you could get a dance from a bigger guy that wanted his women to be big themselves ... yes. Obviously your body caters to a niche and not the barbie look the porn crazed / immature minded men would want (bar the breast fetish people wanting J cups).
Considering you are a latina I bet if you got yourself into shape then hustling at LA or SD (or other Mexican populated areas) would be easy because you would have an edge over the barbie girls (whom don't know any Spanish).

When I started reading this thread, I had a few comments I wanted to make, but this thread is almost a year old and all of them have been discussed, often times more eloquently that what I can be bothered to muster.
I myself, might get a dance from you. You're not bad looking at all. :)
For me looks and personality are both important. If you have a great personality, I sure you could hook me!
Glad to see you can take it here in Smurfdome.

They think that because Latinas have a tendency to be heavier, but not always of course. You already said you're too big so there's no need to go into that. Much to my horror, I've seen MUCH bigger girls at some of the more dive-ish clubs, and I wouldn't get dances from them, simply because it would be uncomfortable from the extra weight. Just a hint, not a recommendation but the fastest way to drop pounds without surgery is copious amounts of methamphetamines and consuming nothing but liquid protein after 6pm. You'll be 30 lbs lighter in a month. Just remember to take vitamins and drink lots of water.
