how the hell is that racist.im tired of the whole racist bullshit.always someone complainin"oh they're racist".......grrr

Well considering that this DJ is an admitted skinhead, I don't think it is too much of a stretch to think that his actions towards the one black dancer( and no other dancer) were based on racism.

That's one hell of an assumption.

You're an admitted dancer. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say that if you'll get naked for money, you'll probably fuck for pretty cheap too. I guess it's also not much of a stretch to assume that if you are talking to a guy, you must want to fuck him because dancers are just gold digging whores who will screw anything.

You don't know much about "skinheads". Skinhead does not = racist.

Even if the guy tells you "I hate black people!" That does not mean an event involving him was race-related, even if the other person involved was black and they were arguing. Why is it so hard to believe there could be some other reason for them to not be getting along other than race?
2+2 = 4.
2+2 does not = 6.

Again, no one here knows what the situation really was. Only the DJ and dancer do. It was probably a bad idea for the DJ to disrupt the whole club over it though. *shrug*

Good point ^^ but it's really not a "helluva assumption". It could be a WRONG assumption, and again, I think that only the DANCER knows whether he was motivated out of hatred for HER or hatred for Black folks. But assuming that an admitted racist (who has singled out a Black person for humiliation) is doing it BECAUSE she is Black really isn't that big of an assumption.

Best way to eliminate those oh-so-irritating cries of racism is to - aha!! - eliminate racism. Try hating racism more than it's victims (or so-called victims) and we'll all live in a happy, sunshine-y world.

Skinhead does not = racist.

Not according to the dictionary

Main Entry: skin·head: noun:
a usually white male belonging to any of various sometimes violent youth gangs whose members have close-shaven hair and often espouse white-supremacist beliefs

Not all skinheads are racist. I knew a skinhead who was not racist. Obviously--I was talking to his face. He explained to my face that he wasn't racist. He even had these symbols like the swatiska and the no sign, the red circle with the slash, like the no smoking sign? So he was also actively anti-racism. There's some counterculture, like Christian Rap. It might be rare but it's out there.

most white collar customers I deal with say they would prefer the club without some loud mouth dj trying to hear his voice all night and playing the music 10 times too loud.

most customers(white/blue/purple collar) will tell ANY dancer ANYTHING if they think it increases their chances of scoring with that dancer particularly if it involves hating on the DJ(sorta like this thread;=)usually b/c the customer wants the DJs job. customer's opinions/agenda's are about as unbiased as fox news.

I am the dancer referred to in this post. I will send you a PM Phedre.

I have booked at this club for several years and really don't think he is racist per se. This guy favors two other house dancers there named Ronnie and Racie, who are sisters and who get bitchy when they aren't making most of the money. I was ahead of them on dances that night , and am one of the few road girls who hustles dances. He doesn't really speak up for the other girls. The customers were not tipping much that night and I had more dances than the other girls.

As a whole since I have been working rural area clubs, I find club owners don't make the effort to hire experienced DJ's who are jivey and who know how to push the crowd to spend money. Some of these guys are real hicky and country, and just don't have what it takes to pump up a crowd.

I get along well with the manager of the club and she had called me last week inquiring about several things that went on in the club that night. This club does not have a manager on the premises. She just checks in randomly throughout the week, so the bartenders oversee the club and they are not management material, which causes some problems.

Montana is becoming a little more racially diverse, particularly in Billings, but this is cowboy country, and there are still a lot of redneck types roaming around. The few white collar types don't frequent strip clubs there. These country type guys are not used to people of color and aren't very sophisticated. Denver is the closest major city 8.5 hours away, and most people from this area don't regularly drive there. Most of the dancers have never worked out of Montana, and don't know how to hustle.

I do ok there compared to other dancers as far as selling dances goes, but at times some of the hick customers don't tip me as well as the white girls.

This is not a professional DJ. It takes him a long time to put anyone's CD in and he makes corny comments to the crowd. He is not the type to help girls make money.
