The one the left is like 2 weeks old (stripclub )I went for a burlesque look it was great with waist cincher, feather fan and all.(nest time maybe a cool boudoir mask::)) and thats just dream matte mousse foundation with mac mineral powder( very light). some kind of lip plumping lipgloss (that stung like a bitch but well worth it)}:D and mac eyeshow and a white eyeliner pencil undereyes with out lashes
The one on the right( 2 days ago) webcam -same as top without eyeliner and with milani eyeshadow and heavy liquid eyeliner and pencil w/ eylashes.for my eyebrows i use eyeshading powder in like a dark brown almost chestnut shade.

^ Beautiful! Feel free to go really dark and heavy with the colors/eyeliner/mascara though. Club lighting could completely wash your eyes out!

The trick for blending is to get a fluffy rounded brush :)

I used to do really dramatic makeup when my hair was short (3ish yrs ago, summer of '07), but now I'm much more a fan of the natural look, long brown hair & light to no makeup :)
--the longer pink haired pictures were late '05, early '06 when I lived in LA
this is now :)

It took me a LONG time until I could do my makeup properly....I used to look like a Trannie no matter what I put on my face.
Then I started watching YouTube Tutorials from Kandee Johnson (http://www.youtube.com/user/kandeejohnson#p/u/10/ocedGEmBN_4) and Xsparkage (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdkLvBJJsEM) and Michelle Phan (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bu836l-AlAo) and took their advice. It helped me out sooo much...learning how to contour, how to properly line your lids, how to blend...it's all in the techniques and the products you use.
Picture gone...

^ Maybe that's my problem. I only buy really cheap makeup. Like, nothing classier than L'Oreal.
4everresolutions
08-30-2010, 08:22 PM
Hey nothing wrong with L'oreal, I use a lot of L'oreal and other drug store makeup. Every once in a while I'll treat myself to something from Sephora, but I'm not the kinda girl who routinely spends hundreds on makeup. Cost /= quality.
It's knowing what to splurge on and what to save on.

Okay doke! Here's the stripper makeup I use regularly and what I splurged on or what I saved on.
Splurge: Laura Mercier Primer (http://www.lauramercier.com/store/shop/Primers_Oil-Free-Foundation-Primer_prod210042). ~$35 A good primer will make any makeup last longer and look fresher all night. Also, I find it helps my eye-makeup from bleeding so it looks more professional.
Save: Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation (Maybelline) (http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Face/Foundation/dream-liquid-mousse.htm). ~$7 Covers well without feeling greasy. I apply with cosmetic makeup sponges; covers my acne well.
Save: Annabelle Mineral Powder Foundation. (http://www.annabellecosmetics.com/getdoc/93f43386-232d-4ff5-a1c6-cff82e14eb10/Fond-de-teint-poudre-mineral---Barely-Beige.aspx) ~$7. All natural and seals the liquid foundation. Makes skin look flawless. I apply with a Buki brush.
Save: NYC black eyeliner. (http://www.newyorkcolor.com/products/index.cfm?item=519) ~$2. Honestly the best eyeliner I've ever used for smokey eyes, it smudges so well.Possibley the cheapest eyeliner out there too.
Save/Splurge: Eyeshadow's. I find that the more expensive eyeshadows apply easier with less fallout, which is good if you like using darker colours. If you use lighter colours then you can go with the cheaper stuff. I recently splurged on a Sephora "Smokey Eye Kit" (http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P222602) ~$40 which has 4 different colours in it and instructions on how to make the perfect smokey eye.
When I use lighter colours I like L'oreal Expert wear trio in Bronz (]http://www.soap.com/Product/ProductDetail.aspx?productid=45311&site=CI&srccode=cii_5784816&cpncode=24-102453754-2&utm_source=cse&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=ALO-328&utm_campaign=pricegrabber)e. ~$5
Save: Mascara NYC lengthening (http://www.totalbeauty.com/reviews/product/6194021/nyc-new-york-color-thickening-mascara) ~$4. Works just as well as the Covergirl brands that sell so well. Doesn't flake or get crusty.
Splurge: Fake eyelashes. (http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P167712&categoryId=C11091&shouldPaginate=true) I get mine from Sephora, they're ~$10 and look amazing...to me that's pretty cheap, but I'm guessing the fact that I wear them at all is a splurge in itself.
Save: Liquid Liner ~$8. I can't find mine at the moment, and I forget the brand, but liquid liners are pretty well made equal when it comes to basic black-brown.
Save: Lip Liner (http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Lip/LipLiner/colorsensational-lip-liner.htm)~$7. Maybelline NY. If you take your time to line your lips well, and fill them in, it will stop your lipstick from bleeding and it will help your lips keep their colour all night.
Save: Lip Stick (http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Lip/LipColor/colorsensational-lippearl.htm). ~$5-10. I have all sorts, mostly drug store brands.
Splurge: Brushes! Proper brushes is what gives you that professional look, as you can get the right angles and the right density of makeup in the right places. CVS sells a good line of makeup brushes by Essence of Beauty. There's instructions inside each brush set on how each one is used.
I recommend:
Thin Angle Eyeliner brush (http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http://www.makeup.com/store/240/bloom_angled_brush_eyeliner_cropped.jpg&imgrefurl=http://amyglitters.blogspot.com/2010/01/ask-amy.html&h=240&w=240&sz=3&tbnid=i46KlbFHV1_mAM:&tbnh=110&tbnw=110&prev=/images%3Fq%3DEyeliner%2Bbrush&zoom=1&usg=__GW5neLGh33tr9a61f7unmjDrFmQ=&sa=X&ei=27R8TJfSO4OenweEra2VCw&ved=0CCcQ9QEwAQ)
A smudging brush
A fluffy blending brush (http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/catalog/shop_product_detail.jsp?filterBy=&skuId=405873&productId=405873&navAction=push&navCount=5&no_new_crumb=true)
A flat max coverage brush (http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/catalog/shop_product_detail.jsp?filterBy=&skuId=242620&productId=242620&navAction=push&navCount=5&no_new_crumb=true)
A Kabuki Brush (http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/catalog/shop_product_detail.jsp?filterBy=&skuId=405877&productId=405877&navAction=push&navCount=5&no_new_crumb=true)
I'm by no means a makeup Guru, and I'm still figuring it all out so my words aren't bible or anything. But this is what I found that works for me so far.

I prefer the cheaper make up. I do like Mac but honestly if its drug store make up like Cover Girl or something, it is all about how well you use the product you have. Not where you got it. I just would never use the stuff you could give to a child like Smackers lol.
I want to be a make up artist.
