I only use Mac... my skin is shit so if Im putting crap on it. I want it to be quality crap. I've tried other makeup and I will buy drug store in a pinch but I usually end up tossing it. Here's one of me which is pretty much my standard work look. Excuse my silly face my dog was sad I was going out haha.

Also if you go on the mac website they have breakdowns of looks with what colours they use. You can practice doing it. My usual look was one of these from about 5 years ago hahah I dont know if its even still on there.

Your hair looks so healthy! Do you use any products to make it look so shiny?

^ awww thanks :) I dont use a shine product when I curl it but I do when its straight. I just use salon shampoo and conditioner - matrix sleek look and some strange treatment thing called GKMBJ apparently is the only treatment shown to fix damaged hair - or so the lady tells me haha. Paul Mitchell smoothing glass drops if its straight. My hair is a bit dry because of all the processing but I only wash it once a week. Even if its looking disgusting. That helps keep it shiny lol.

This one is with my clip in extensions which I only wash every 4-5 wear.

Jessie, in all honesty that is the best looking platinum hair I've ever seen. If mine could look that shiny I'd go lighter, but I doubt mine would look so healthy.

Glad to meet another gal who rarely washes her hair. Cheers!

best makkeup to spend money on:

lorac- liquid liner - 22 $ - has a very fine point, stays on no matter what goes on your face :) and lasts 6 months using it once everyday

givenchy - mascara- the round ball applicator- i also use this with rimmel volume mousse mascara which i think they stopped making- anyways the givenchy is god- i cant use fake lashes cause ima llergic to the glue-

spehora brand liners - any sephora eye liner or lip gloss is awesome

and lastly my favorite of all!!! any urban decay eyeshaow. they are pigmented so well, and go on and stay on and blend very well.

^ I may have to splurge a bit and buy that liner. I love the L'Oreal cream eyeliners, but they dry up quickly and the brush sucks...

^ Love it.

I agree with the Urban Decay recommendations, it's good stuff.

Mascara, foundation, eyeliner, and SOME eyeshadows, I will get for cheaps.

Concealer, most powders, and most eyeshadows I'll spend for. With lip products I can go either way. One of the best lipglosses I ever had came in one of those damn Xmas makeup boxes that was on sale for like 4 bucks. You just never know!

I use Napoleon Perdis just about everything, especially base and liquid eyeliner pen, and for lippie I use Nars mostly. Often Mac blusher and Jemma Kidd pencil eyeliner. Mascara: sometimes Napoleon Perdis and sometimes Lancome, Laura Mercier or Gorgeous Cosmetics. Eyeshadows by NP, Bloom, YSL, Elizabeth Arden, Mac or the like. Highly, highly recommended on all counts, though pricey. I am a strong believer that you get what you pay for. Quality make up makes a huge difference. Eyes and base are really what make your face; don't skimp on product quality with respect to either.

Oh, and I second the use of primer and well-made brushes.

I've already posted this picture in another thread, but figured I'd share here as well.
This is me actually at work, so it's not freshly applied but you get the idea. Pretty much what my makeup usually looks like, though recently I've been doing darker/heavier eye makeup.

I learned how to do my makeup from youtube. Especially the drag queen ones, they really know their shit!
