See now this whole thread makes me feel worse about going back to dancing . I had a baby and I am getting back into shape ,I am only 15lbs from my pre baby weight and I looked DAMN sexy at that weight so I am thinking if I lose 5 - 10 more then I should look good , right ?? Plus you all say natural boobs BUT if you had to chose over saggy " I just had a baby " chest OR some sexy fake boobs , I am thinking you guys might think the fake ones are a good choice ?? Anyhoo , so from a custys point of view then you wouldnt want to see a sort thick girl who is trying to get back in to shape on stage ??? I mean I was 135lbs and now I am 150 at 5'6" but thats with curves .....I dunno you tell me ? Good , bad , ok ??

and now people don't like thin because thin is "out"
.
Thin is out? I didn't get that memo. ;)

See this is why I hate this damn thread. It makes us all paranoid. After dancing for quite some time I can tell you men aren't nearly as picky as we think they are. As long as you aren't fat and flabby they pretty much just get caught up in the fact that your naked. 5-10lbs is not gonna make a bit of difference at your height to your average guy (especially your average drunk, horny strip-club going guy;) ).

jasmine is right! I think its more of an overall look and also the vibe we get from the girl or the personality of the girl that goes with the look, not just a couple pounds or a couple stretch marks here or there. Anyway the lighting in the club usually hides a lot! Don't be self conscious, as long as you make money, then you're doing alright

I know what you mean on this one... I'm about 5'6 and I weighed 135, then went up to 145, and not in muscle. I liked myself at 135, but when I was 145 I just adopted a different perspective... I convinced myself I was still sexy by comparing myself to the beautiful girls in Renaissance art, the ones with the extra curves and the not-so-large chests. After a surgery forced me into fasting I went back down to 130, but I feel about the same with self-esteem. Just find ways to call yourself sexy and you'll be just fine.

Ladies: It takes all shapes, sizes, colors, and personas. No one type will please everyone.
Some like big, some like small (including various specific areas).
Just like restaurants have more than one item on the menu. Guys like to have a choice.
There are some great looking women who I will never ask to dance for me.
There are some average looking women who will get dances every time.
Be who you are!

I'm a "amazon" 5'9'' pre-heels, 135 long black hair B sized boobs and blue eyes. I get guys all the time saying that I'm not their body type, too tall, too big, only like blonds but they'll buy dances for my eyes. Last night my biggest spender's friend said that I wasn't his type and the spender told me he didn't particularly like my face body or boobs but was way into my eyes and bought a bunch of dances and tipped like crazy. What I'm trying to say is that if something about you stands out and is awesome it can over-ride just about anything.
In life outside of work I wish I was 120 and constantly try to get there (thank you media), but at work guys (generally) are more open to change their 'type' and can find ALL types beautiful. I'm am least self conscious at work over any other place, we are our worst critics.

I like all shapes and sizes and types, and agree that attitude is most important. My favorite female feature is a nice ass, and I like them larger than standard "stripper ass". That's why overall I prefer black or latina dancers. There are very few white women with Grade A booty (although they do exist :-) Breast size and shape means nothing. The hottest woman I've ever been with was my ex-wife, who was a B-cup. She had "enhancement" done against my will as the marriage was ending, and had Ds as it ended, but they weren't real, and therefore weren't nearly as sexy as her previous self. I'm an au natural person, so I like hair where nature wants hair to grow (something almost unheard of in today's clubs), and the less makeup the better. A truly beautiful woman doesn't need any makeup. It just ruins things.
(keep in mind, I'm a longhair hippie)

I am so depressed. I had been working on my confidence and was just about convincing myself that I should just go for it, cos after all I don't look too bad and I will lose loads more weight once I start working. Well now I think losing about 3 stone first should do it! I am very curvy 5' 7"in bare feet, big hips , very flat stomach, tiny waist, perky c cup boobs yet by the standards on this thread I wouldn't even get a job. Yet I can run 3 miles without stopping (i.e I am reasonably fit) , I am the most active fittest person I actually know I work out in some form most days, have waist length (natural no extensions) black hair, tanned and spend a lot of time and $$$ on my appearance. like I said am so depressed.

Also, you know who you are, going into an elaborate description of your own physical appearance like a romance novelist describing the book's heroine is pretty corny and people are going to say something about it - especially when you say you look how women should after your long, cheesy description.
I hope my last post didn't come across like this my point was that although I am reasonably fit and take time over my appearance I still don't come up to the standard of all the gorgeous girls who posted on this thread as I weigh at least 28 pounds more than all of you!:-[ (not all together that would make me really huge! If you have a very flat stomach and tiny waist why are you obsessing about losing more weight? We all want to look better but c'mon. Give me a woman who's playful and has a fun attitude and that will expand greatly the body or looks "type" I normally go for.

I am definitely at the heavier end of the scale when it comes to stripping/dancing. I get the message that any shape is acceptable as long as toned , well my ass still needs some work, but I am working on that so it can only get better.

True. Real world thin is totally different than "stripper thin". I'm stripper fat right now, but real world thin.
It sucks, but all the clubs that I've worked at haven't hired "chubby" girls. I've seen girls turned away that looked totally slammin in street clothes. Hell,I once got told to lose some weight when I weighed 95 damn lbs. >:(

i dont kill myself dieting, and i still dont have curves!!! not all of us have boobs and hips naturally, and even if we gain weight we still wont have hips and boobs. a lot of girls cant help being super skinny so im glad at least some guys like super skinny girls

Jessica,
Everyone has a favorite body type. No one body type fits all. There are various market segments. Some guys like the tall, thin barbies. Some guys like black girls. Some guys like asians. Some like girls that are really young looking (yuck on that). Some guys like thick, curvy girls. Remember its all about hitting market segments.
I wouldn't worry about starving yourself. As long as you aren't fat and you hit the gym 4 or more times per week to be healthy, just be who you are.
Personally, I like your type. If you work in a city I travel to, I might come to see you. :)
The uncoolest one.

Just don't be like the gorgeous blonde girl that was fairly thick and decided to bounce up and down on my legs with her shins. it took me all of 5 seconds to scream for her to stop it hurt so bad. She was gorgeous and looked great. I bet she weighed 170 pounds.
The Uncoolest One
Since I go spend alot of my cusomters money out with them at other stripclubs and I like girls(and generally get the best x-rated lapdances whenever I hit the clubs) I would have to say I'm probably pickier then most men, but I'm also a dancer with a sweet ass body soo for me a girl has to have an hour glass figure and look like a Barbie to get me to part with my drinking allowance and spend some of it on her.
White, Latin, Black... doesn't matter to me they just have to rank high on hott girl check list --which basicailly for me is in order of importance sexy personality, good teeth, good skin, pretty face, nice slender waist, T&A, lips and hips, stylish hair, and mantained nails/brows/body hair..

I'm not a dancer yet but I'm seriously considering it and am going to check out the clubs this weekend with some girlfriends.
It sounds like from all the posts in this thread I'm going to be towering over most of the other strippers. I'm 5'9" 120lbs. I'm lean but not disgustingly thin.
I'm wondeirng too right now I have a bob style haircut that is stacked in the back, my hair is platinum blonde with pink highlights...I can post a picture if you want to see...I've been reading that short hair isn't that sexy on a dancer...any thoughts?

Emelie, I'm 5'11 150lbs, in my shoes I'm 6'3. Yes you will tower over the other girls, but that is what will make you STAND OUT from them. Like JoeUncool said, everyone has their "type." I always wanted to be thinner, but my body is curvy and muscular so rather than fight it, I play it up. Sure I'm too big for some clients, but there are plenty of others that LOVE my body type!
As for the short hair thing...It really doesn't matter. I wore extensions for 3 years, took them out for a year, I just put them back in b/c I got tired of doing my hair everynight.

Height, now that could be a problem. If you are already fairly tall, there is no reason to wear the platform classical dancer shoes that make you 8" taller. One problem is that if you tower over a guy, he is more likely to say no. Perhaps a pair of attractive 2-3" inch heels might be better. And your feet might even thank you in the morning! ;D
Of course, everyone has their type, so try things out. Don't be disappointed in the results. Merely take it as a learning experience and allow yourself to refine your physical appearance.

In your opinion yes.

That may make you more likely to say no, but that's simply not the truth for plenty of men. I'm 5'1O'' barefoot and I wear shoes that are five inches and up at work and on the streets, and plenty of men compliment me on my height inside of work and out. The vast majority of my customers are shorter than me, I've only danced for a handful men that stood taller than me. :D

I would agree that proportion is more important than precise size. Also, how you use what you have is hugely important.
Regarding the weight issue so many have commented on: I work in a medical office and I weigh people for physicals all day. I have a better idea of the reality of a woman's weight than most guys, I would bet. Most guys would be surprised at how many of the hot bodies walking around America weigh in between 135-150. Then again, 115-135 can also look dumpy on some women. It all comes back to proportion, fitness level (fat vs. muscle), and how you carry yourself.

I like a 1950's cheesecake look on strippers - somewhat thick body, real boobs, nice legs (not skinny). Mainly I am a leg man and will go for a gals sexy smile. During a lap dance I enjoy the thrill of feeling her legs, ass, and boobs. The skinny gals do not turn me - on they just don't seem hearty enough (for childbearing?). I also expect them to spend some quality time with me getting acquainted before I take a dance. The gal who is impatient to drain my wallet is a turnoff and I will not hesitate to deselect her and get a girl who is actually a competent entertainer.

I really only notice Victoria's Secret model looking types. I'm the only guy on the planet that's not into big boobs either. The ultimate for me is a 6' tall fitness model with some solid muscles in her legs and absolutely no fat. Fat seems to be the in thing these days :O but I'm holding the hard line on it (and will probably end up alone but that's OK 8)). One more thing, your hair should go down to the top of your waist. At least it should never be shorter than your bra strap.
This question is for customers! What is your body type preference? Curvy, slim, thick? Fake boobs, real? Just curious! I am always killing myself dieting and not fat at all. In fact I am kind of short(5'4")and I have a very flat toned stomach but I have a little more meat on thighs, some hips, medium size butt, and very large DD fake boobs. I guess I am curvy! I feel like I am never thin enough and tired of killing myself trying to get really thin so I was wondering if I should just be happy the way I am and accept it! I was wondering what body type the average guy prefers when it comes to strippers? :)

Good lord you sound like an exact ex-ATF of mine. Her body was super amazing BECAUSE of the curves, not the skinny crap. Guys who like the small little girls who look 13, and YES we have 1 or 2 at the club I go to, are just weird.
Love me some meat on the ass and of course the nice 36D boobs of hers. Short blonde hair, yowwwza! Super hot girl.
Had another girl at my previous favorite club. Mexican and pretty much the same body type, except C's, huge cellulite ass... YEAH! JK, didnt like that so much, but still she looked great, was a fun girl.

I personally like petite chicks with small tits etc. but that's just me. What's off the chain to me has been abused with the ugly stick too long to another guy. It doesn't matter guy/girl SC or grocery store everyone has their own taste. I have long blond hair and I've lost count of how many chicks turned me down b/c they don't like long hair....or they don't like blond guys. At the same time there have been chicks who've talked to me simply b/c they like long hair. If every guy liked the same type of girl all we'd have to do is clone her a few million times then fill the SC's with the clones. I happen to like petite chicks but if every chick looked like that I think I'd get bored.

I don't understand why they'd tell you this, explicitly, but nice to know I'm not alone! I notice a girl's face, legs, body, hair, and heels first. Unless you're flat like a boy, tits are about the last thing I'll make note of. I don't like platforms at all and will avoid the girls with them if I can. Regular heels that are 6" high are the best.

That is a complete generalisation. There are plenty of nice men who like slender girls, with or without implants. There are naturally slim girls, you know, and many with natural curves.

I don't have a favorite type. But I guess if I had to describe my favorite. the dancer has to have a bubble butt, all natural, no fake chests and a personality. has to be positive all the time. I don't know how many times i have been with dancers that are always so negative or stuck on themselves. OHH and sexy toes... but what goes along way is just there personality. and the way they treat there customers or regulars...

Should not be misconstrued as "Most guys are fine with chubby and/or fat chicks up on the stage." We're not.
I think a woman's opinion of chubby is MUCH less forgiving than a mans opinion of chubby

QFT. Curvy = soft 'n luscious to hold in my arms.
Also, my definition of curvy and fat seem to be far more extreme that what is standard around here. 5, 10, or 20 lbs above skinny is not "fat." That's just normal/healthy. Fat is when you're 5'6", your doctor tells you to lose 50 lbs, and you gain 20. That's "fat" (i.e. my ex).
My preference? Tinier than me. I like 'em smaller than me so I get to feel all manly with my big, protective, computer-programmer arms. :D I'm skinny and with no muscle though, so "smaller than me" is saying something.
When I think of my three longest running ATFs, the current one is skinny, the one before her was very curvy (SW would probably call her 'overweight'), and the one before that was in between. So go figure.

I fall on the stricter side of the issue. Picture tight jeans. To please me, the skin should not break the plane of the waistband where it meets the body. The jeans should look painted on with no bulge. I view anything beyond this as an ever increasing magnitude of being overweight. Five pounds extra on someone who ought to be 110 is noticeable but not that big of a deal. Anything more is a rapidly increasing disincentive for me. In this example, 122 lbs. would be about the point where I'd start looking for another girl.
Then again, the guy next to me may love the weight and dislike the thin girl. Case in point, I invited a buddy to watch the 2008 Victoria's Secret show and he said "...nah, those girls are tall and slender with really long legs..." I was flabbergasted and replied "Yeah, they're called Supermodels..."

i agree with the proportion statement. i think too many people get caught up on the height/weight NUMBERS without taking frame size/build into account. i'm 5ft6 120 lbs and i have a really tiny frame/bone structure. however, another woman my same height could weigh up to 160 and still be considered healthy. if she had a large frame it could look just fine on her... but 160 on me would look -ridiculous-.
just as 120 on someone with a bigger frame of my same height would look way too skinny.
but too many people hear the numbers and think "oh that sounds fat/skinny". you don't really know till you see it on the actual person in question.

Most guys highly underestimate women's weight. I know a girl who is 5'2" and 96lbs. She has a very pretty face, but doesn't earnd much because she is sooooo thin. Usually the guys are as off put by her body type as they are the girls who are little over weight. I mean ribs and jutting hip bones aren't sexy.
i'm 5'4", 96lbs, and a muscular build... i'm usually more so about 103lbs, but haven't been able to be very mobile due to an injury... i'm a LITTLE thin, but i can't see being 5'2" and 96lbs to be THAT off putting, you might be over estimating this girl's weight. i have a butt and i'm a B cup...

I think the guys in this thread are misled by women under-exaggerating their weight, which is a common and expected practice. Here's a hint -- muscle weighs more than fat, it doesn't look like fat, it doesn't usually look *big* on women at all, and if a woman can do pole tricks at all, she's got some.
I'm 5'6" and only slightly chubby at 140-ish. My thighs and belly are a little too big but my ribs are visible. If I weighed 110 I would look like a concentration camp victim, and I'm pretty sure that depending on bone and muscle weight, MOST of the women who tell you they weigh that much at my height and taller are lying.
I'm 5'9" tall and weigh 112 pounds. Have been this way my whole life. I see women killing themselves trying to lose weight only to hear that men don't like thin....damn. I wish someone would make up their mind! Eh, well, while they are making up their mind, I think I'll have another beer and a slice of pizza.

I'm a small B and night after night I hear from guys I dance for:
"you know, I'm not into big boobs like all the other guys."
"most guys like big boobs. I don't."
Seriously. I hear it like 5x a night!!
hahaha same here. I'm certainly not complaining about getting lots of compliments on my tits; that's fabulous. ;D
It is just funny when they say it like they're giving you some really huge rare compliment by saying they like small tits, like they think no one else does. I smile and say thanks, but inside I'm laughing and thinking "yeah, that's what the last five guys I danced for said."

Well, if a guy likes your boobies, what's wrong with his telling you about it? The SC should be a place where you can tell a girl she has nice tits and a nice ass and not get in trouble for it.
