Why do a lot of u want to be so small? I went to my old club and all the girls were soooo thin now it's scary. Are guys putting pressure on you already beautiful women to be thin???? or is it the media? I'm not knocking anyones prefered image but I'm 5'0 135 and I'm way smaller than the women I see outside the club. Can someone help me understand?
I can only speak for myself, but I feel that my desire to be thin relies solely on my bone structure and the fact that when I gain a even a little weight, it disproports* (is that a word) me. I don't think its really the guys per se that are pushing me to want to be small, but more myself. I know that I am probably giving out the impression that I have an eating disorder or something, but that is not the case. I've been skinny all my life. In fact, if I could have more even fat distribution I would prefer to be on the heavier side, as it's so much sexier and more feminine :)

Me too! I lost 20kg, (~40lb) and when I came back to work all the guys were saying "you're not Celeste, she used to have big boobs."
And I went from a D to a C and they complained!!

5'51/2 but now weigh 147 , gross! I posted on here before and saw it again and I am working out again for sure! Just bought an elliptical(sp) machine and plan to burn it up. All my weight is in my butt, hips and thighs and working in a club where men tell you how hot you are all the time, is no motivation to try to look better. Does that make sense? Anyways, My goal is 130.

Dang, guys. I'm 5'8, 152 (last I checked.) I work out, and would like to get down to 145, but I think I'd look sick if I weighed any less. I'm broad-shouldered and big-hipped with lotsa muscle. I'd like to skim a little of the fat layer off the muscle, but other than that, I'm pretty happy with my body.

I'm worried about this thread. I know that some girls on this site have eating problems that could be triggered by unhealthy weights (whether or not the girls who list them also have eating disorders or just fast metabolisms). =/

After reading over this thread I'm actually impressed that everyone seems so honest. I don't think that these weights are out of the norm or too skinny or overweight. Of course there are girls that are naturally thin but I don't see a pattern of unhealthy weight posts. If anything I think it has reafirmed my beliefs and hopefully others' that what you weigh is usually perfectly fine, we all are guilty of being unhappy and will nag ourselves occassionaly about what we want to look like but that's normal and I hope everyone knows that.
Just think about how many times we have told each other in the dressing room "you look great the way you are!" Almost every woman complains and thinks she could look better.
We all need to realize that who we are is just that, it's who we are.
Be happy and healthy!

I've actually gained 7 pounds in the last few months -- but my figure looks better than ever, and my waistline is no larger. If you look at my height/weight statistic, I am apparently "overweight" -- but I look quite slim. I just have pecs, abs and biceps that you can feel, and I didn't before. Poundage is overrated as a measure. :P

Oh yes, I figured this out when this thread first started. When I was more active, I was trained to counsel college/highschool/middleschool students on the effects of eating disorders and body image issues.
I see alot of it on here. The people that I take an interest in, I PM then to talk. They usually come clean, I've never had anyone tell me I was wrong about them. I just watch for patterns...yup all the way here on my lil computer. I love helping people. I personally don't find this thread very helpful..but hey...

I have a question for you Cin, In my experience girls that I've worked with at the clubs are more secure than those who don't when it comes to weight. Do you think it's this way in general?

I have gained so much weight since being with my boyfriend. I'm 5'4" and when I met him I weight 98 lbs....could have used about 5 to 10 pounds of muscle, but since then I've gained 30 lbs of fat and am feeling so down on myself for it. Problem is, I just don't have the opportunity to exercise anymore. I'm only a size 2/3, but I have loads of cellulite (which I never had before) so I feel icky, for lack of a better word. I just need some motivation and really, to just buy a treadmill and some 10 pound weights.
ARGH!

Not at all. From observing the girls at my club, majority are fairly unhappy. And the ones who are "happy" with their weight are the ones who are happy are usually grotesquesly thin. There was one girl who I had my eye on a few weeks ago. I hadn't seen her for like a week, and when she came back she looked a little lighter. Everyone kept telling her that she looked awesome. She was just like "yea thanks, I had to start throwing up again to get back like this" I privately had a talk with her about this, and she just said "I know I dont have a problem...I'm not like "other" girls who dont know how to stop. I just wanted to lose a few pounds"
It's really sad :'(

There's a gal at my club who's natually a thin girl. Then she got huge boobs. Now she's lost weight. She's so thin that her rib cage is defined and you can see her implants ripple when she's standing! It's disgusting. From my knowlegde, no ones said a thing about her apperance.
She's also a miserable person, too. Bad attitude, shit talking, and drama starting. I know it's really wrong of me, but I couldn't help but feel a little happy when I saw her. It's like the ugliness of her inner self is comming out... it's sad, yet morbidly satisfying.

I'm really surprised because over time I've only known a couple girls that ever had a real issue. I'm also surprised at how open about it they seemed to be with the other girls at your club.

I got implants and gained weight!!! Wasn't exactly my plan, but the boobs give the thighs a more bearable appearance. My frame is very narrow ...I have man hips.. seriously, they're horrible...like 33" I hate em'. Was about 111 lbs, now about 118...hell maybe more by now. Who knows! I've become quite the human blob lately....constant munchie mode. :-\ Height 5'7"

Is it possible that your implants weigh 7 lbs. and could be responsible for the weight gain?
The number on the scale really doesn't mean anything as to how you look or how healthy you are. Muscle weighs more than fat, but it's healthier and it looks toned. Larger breasts obviously weigh more than smaller ones. No one is going to see your weight, so don't stress over the number. Just pay attention to being fit and healthy!
I'm 5'6 (and a half) and weigh about 125lbs. I have an athletic build and am one of the few girls at work with a visible six pack.

I am 5'4 and i weigh 131lbs, the thing is though (not sounding cocky) i dont look at all like i weigh 131. I look like i weigh 115. It is all muscle, i used to take competitive gymnastics for 12 years of my life and alot of that is due to it. I have a rock hard stomach and its funny because when people ask me how i got it they expect me to say i work out all the time, the truth is i havent done anything in about 5 years. I guess i could say i am pretty lucky! :cutie:

Alliya~ It all depends how much muscle you have. If your rock hard like ^^^ said, then you're probably fine. If you're flabby, and unhappy with it, then you should exercise. BUT, if you're happy and comfortable with your body, don't worry about it. You should still be active and eat well just because it's healthy, but if it doesn't bother you, then don't worry about it.

There is this factor in effect, for sure...
I have always had great defintion whether I am working out or not, and people will always say I look like I do. Some people have higher muscle/fat ratios by genetics.
And you can't always judge someone by weight alone--I lived with a dancer who was 5'8" and a natural athlete, her weight was a lot higher than you would have guessed by her appearance. She had the total Pinup girl body, and though she was always concerned about the weight numbers, when she was thinner she looked positively magnificent--even if the numbers were higher than average.
She needs to marry a football player, their kids would be Olympic contenders for sure, lol...

We can be virtual fitness buddies... I'm now closer to 158 and I would love to be around 140 again. Part of it is vanity, but I really miss all the energy that comes with working out and eating properly.
I joined for recipe and other dietary ideas... now I'm trying to work up the gumption to hit the gym.
Congrats on getting motivated to get healthy! PM me if you think you'd like to try the virtual support thing.

5'3" and 100 lbs. I have a lot of muscle too and still don't weigh that much. I have big calves and toned arms, but I'm not the strongest person ever. I remember my senior year of high school my max lifting weight for squats was 210.

I put on 4 kgs of fat, due to horror stress of exams/final papers due, plus I just took over the girls at my club!

I'm 5'2 and I usually hang steady about 104 lbs. I don't own a scale (I've never had one in my house in my life), but everytime I go to the doctor's office, that's the number that pops up. Most of its flabby stuff though. I need to start exercising and toning up my lower region... I just need to it through my head that although the scale number might rise, I'll still look thinner and healthier with muscle. Even if it is a bit heavier. *sigh*
