I was playing football with my brother-in-law and some of his friends on Thanksgiving morning, and (lucky me) I became the first person seriously injured during the game, which they've been playing for about 15 years. Long story short, I broke my left femur. Clean, "simple" fracture. No cast, brace or splint after surgery. I have a metal rod in my leg to support the bone while it heals. I'm currently hobbling around on 1 crutch. I have not yet regained full movement of my left leg... the muscles (quad and hamstring) are still extremely tight.

My question is, has anyone had any type of an injury like this? I enjoy going ot a particular club, and getting a few dances, but I'm concerned about pain/damage considering the bone will not be completely healed for some time.

Rent? The internet gives me all the porn I need.

Maybe I should have explained a little further. I live in IL. I'm currently stuck in MA, because I'm unable to drive until, at least, I have my follow-up appointment on Friday with the orthopedic surgeon.

Well, those of us from Mass. would probably be of the opinion that you are STUCK in Illinois...;)

In any event. I hope your injury heels well but a full contact LD sounds like it might be a bit risky for a while. I know a few ladies who can do a mean lapper while facing you. Maybe one of your favs can improvise until you heal.

IMHO, Internet porn-free or otherwise is a poor substitute for a real live girl.

Unless you're content with some soft contact dances, I'm afraid that you're out of the game for a little while. Get that sucker fully healed before you let a gal start bouncing on you.

I had a bout of sciatica a couple of years ago and it was very painful trying to adjust from standing/sitting/laying down, so I had to endure without LD's for a couple of months.

Of course the silver lining here is that when you are healed your available cash for your next trip will be that much greater.
