JUst an FYI, I just phoned Dr. Mentz office and he charges about 7,200 for silicone implants...if you need a lift and implant it's anywhere from 9 to 10 grand. Which really didn't put me off at all because I believe you pay for what you get. My only problem is that they only accept financing thru capitol one....just a heads up for anyone else wanting to check him out. I have been approved by a couple of different agencies but capitol one won't finance me, so I can't go to him...But gosh, I wish I could. They too said that since I lived so far away that I could send in photos for them to look at in luei(sp?) of an actual consult. Just giving out info that might be helpful.

Go to Dr. Clifford Clark in Orlando. I don't want to be full of myself, but I have the best boob job I've ever seen - objectively. (407) 629-5555. I have to give his number out every night because people LOVE my boobs.

I've seen them........she's right!

okay boobie-altering question:
I have heard that you can get a BA with a small implant to give the breast a better appearance (lift, perkiness, shape), while avoiding the scarring of a breast lift. I have natural 32D's.....and they're really pretty now....buuuuut....gravity kills. I know that the appearance is going to go downhill. People have told me that getting small-ish implants can buy me some time; (you know, keep me from getting boobs sitting on my belly) for a much longer time. Have any of you heard of this? I've seen a few Docs, and their opinions are all over the place on that one.....some said it would work, others push a lift instead, and others push for big implants....now I'm 5'5", 120 lbs....much bigger than I am now would look well....weird....so what do y'all think?

Yeah, I've heard of it.

You can normally get overs to fill the volume, but the problem is that you're going to be facing this same situation in a few years.

If you go on the breast lift board, you can see several posts from women who decided after their BA to get the lift because they tried the route you're suggesting. A lift doesn't just lift the breast, but it does so by removing excess skin (mostly above the nipple) and puts the nipple in the right place. sometimes if you get the BA without BL, the nipple will be too low and look weird.

http://www.breastlift4you.com/message_board.htm (beware, there are a lot of women complaining about complications on there, but that's more because it's where women go for support. If everything works out as planned, you usually stop going to these forums.)

If you get unders, it's not much better. It will look like you have a perky boob (the implant) with a big bag of fat hanging from it (and the nipple still too low.)

I didn't want the scarring either, but it seemed a better option than 2 different surgeries. On the plus side, I've seen some very natural looking results from women that have a BA/BL surgery.

Dr. Tattlebaum (http://www.atattelbaummd.com/html/breast.html#ba) did mine and I am over the f-ing moon about them. I've gotten into arguments at work because guys refuse to believe they are fake. He's in Rockville, MD and he is awesome! I'll even post a pic of my boobies to give you an idea of what kind of work he does.

This was taken about 4 weeks post-op and they look even better now (a year and 3 months later).

The only surgery I 100% know I want to get done is a breast lift without augmentation. I'm currently in Baton Rouge, LA but frequently travel to both Atlanta, GA and Chicago, IL so recommendations from any of those places would be lovely!
I know I'll have to wait until the current situation blows over, but I'm working on losing weight (ideally 30-40 lbs) before getting surgery anyway so that works out I suppose.
