Technology is in a crazy place right now. Read up on the S50 and it's gloriousness. :P

I decided to wait on the S50 since it's still going through some unfortunate legal ramblings due to copyright issues (so lame).

I did, however, purchase the GPS Navigator for my Palm Treo. A few days in I believe this is one of the better investments I have made in awhile. I like being able to talk, text, email, listen to an mp3, and slipping it into its arm on the dash for some directional ecstasy.

Here's the homepage (http://www.tomtom.com/) for the GPS software on my Treo for anyone else out there with a 650.

Edited because the perfectionist in me hates typos resulting from hastily created posts. :P

Are the traffic updates/plus services any good?

Are the traffic updates/plus services any good?

I've just started using the traffic PLUS service a couple of days ago. I'm on that 30 day trial which is great because the dynamic way in which it improves your route based upon traffic is totally dependent on whether or not you live in an area that provides that sort of service on a regular basis. Although I am in FL, I live in an area that doesn't appear to be as fluid with the traffic information as it could be. Therefore, when my 30 day trial is up I will probably toss the traffic PLUS portion into the xfile.

I met my FB at a restaurant of her choice yesterday evening and all I had to do was plug it in and go. She was going to give me directions. I just told her not to bother and that I would be there by (exact time computed by the software).. 8)

I'm probably the biggest gadget geek bitch you'll ever meet.
