Actually, according to the rules, I don't think there has been a winner yet. I believe there needs to be 100 replies to the post before a winner can be declared (assuming I am reading the rules correctly, that is)

So who won? This is too funny :)

The prize is $100 cash or paypal or ebay or Stripperweb membership.
Awarded tomorrow after the Dow closes. I will be on a plane so it may be Saturday to work on the cash transfer details.
Take the last 2 digits of the Dow past the decimal point and the matching poster number to this thread wins. i.e. 10,881.67 winner is reply 67.
You are eligible if you have over 100 posts. (Sorry Newbies). You can post once before 3: p.m. After 3:p.m. eastern time, if there are less than 101 replys, you can post again. We need 100 posts to guarantee a winner. So, reply number 101 is Number 1 and the game is done. The dow closes at 4 eastern time.
Merry Christmas to all. No extras required.;D
Big Daddy is 02
Bunny is 03...well if people had read the rules, no one was allowed to pick their number..it was the number on your reply. Since the last 2 numbers were 59, and there were not 59 replies I believe that voids the contest.

Can we start another one with at least a few days lead time ???

Anyone willing to do this again so that we can possibly get 100 posts without anyone double posting ???

Basically, just post to the thread to enter. Do not guess a number as you are automatically allotted a number based on where you are in the thread (ie I will become poster #67 in this thread with this post). Do not double post. You can only post again when the competition is closed and/or the number of posts reached has been 100 - which ever happens first.

It wasn't that hard to understand... I don't get why so many people misunderstood it.

Okay people.... I have decided to start my own lottery... the only catch is that you must be a member of my MySpace group in order to be part of it. The rules are easier to understand (I hope so) compared to this lottery. I basically have adapted the idea of this lottery to the one I have created within my group. It is a really good idea!

Nobody got my Peter Pumpkinhead reference? The Crash Test Dummies song about the generous man! It's on the "Dumb & Dumber" soundtrack. A nice dancer named Amy from Oregon left it at Club Cosmos in Guam & that was in the CD player a lot.

I got it. It was really really popular in Germany in the early '90's.

O.K. I agree, there were a lot of posts after the close and I was going to send it to Yekhefah but if she says she is O.K. with not winning. I am donating it to SW. I wish we had pay pal working so I could do this easily. I will have to get a money order.....and send to Pryce.

Sorry for the short notice. Everyone thank you for having fun and I hope you have a wonderful new year. Maybe I will do one for the closing Dow on the last day of trading...with enough notice.

My dear sweet MadMaxine...."The Ballad Of Peter Pumpkinhead" is actually a groovy song by XTC. Crash Test Dummies just did a cover version. So yes, I got it. I just didnt wanna post and mess up the count, but that appears to be irrelevant at this point. Booyah!

LOL! I would've suggested sending it to SW anyway.
