Just to let you guys know the garlic thing does work for yeast infections. I thought I had one coming on (eeep!) and did the garlic thing. I left it in overnight and took it out in the morning before school. Everything just went away.
Although Id recommend something else for itchyness.
Ha! I'm using the garlic right now. LOL
Last time I put it in the toe of a nylon stocking, but this time I just put it in whole without cutting it (as someone else suggested). I wasn't sure if any of the garlic-y goodness was passing through the nylon or not. It did go away for a short time, but then came back again. Let's see if this works any better. I'll post my results.
p.s. I do get frequent yeast infections but usually the only symptom I've had for the past few has been thick discharge. No itching or burning. Maybe I'll become immune to them eventually. :O That would be nice.

Once i was diagnosed with recurring yeast infections, then I got a new gyno---turns out I didn't have yeast infections at all, but a bacterial infection. Every time i went in complaining of a yeast infection, they would give me yeast infection meds, which stopped the itching for a while, then it would start up again. Then I would go back and complain again, which started the whole cycle over. this went on for months. The new gyno took one lok down there, perscribed an antibiotic, and I was normal again.
Just an idea.

Bacterial vaginosis has the same symptoms as yeast infections.

I think it's best to do it w/o the nylon. I tied a string around it and left it in there for an hour. I'm gonna do it over night. I'm not prone to yeast infections, it's the anti-biotics i was on.

WOW. That is how it went with me too, they kept misdiagnosing. I have discovered the only ways I can keep on top of it are daily doses of acidopholus pills and eating yogurt daily and no cuming inside me, my flower doesn't like to be showered in cum and it treats me back with the BV. Also NO caffiene and limited white flour consumption keep my ph normal.
OH, and the dr. doesn't know what they are talking about if they don't treat you and your partner. It will return, BV and a yeast infection.
