Um. Think it is obvious why this is NOT a good club for me to work - it has a 3 night requirement as well as looong hours for someone to be eligible for the $200 retainer. No thank you. I don't like how they hold over the pay until your next working shift (money can easily get 'lost' as I experienced with this policy at Players Surfers Paradise). I especially don't like how there is plenty of competition that offers far more (for probably the same money) pretty close by... or at least not a long cab ride away.
Think about it girl. It's obvious why I would never work at that club.
I would love a no touching club in SEQ however it just isn't viable. It isn't good business sense to do so in this region. Thought you would realise this? It's a dream, an impossible dream.

BAD GIRLS VALLET
DON'T GO THERE!
1) Girls openly rack lines in the dressing room.
2) Management play "favourites". They did this so many times to me - I'd be talking to a big spender, then management would come up and take me away for a "chat". While this was going on, a "favourite" would come steal the guy.
3) To be a favourite you have to be the lesbain bosses idea of "hot". She feels up girls, insists on taking them out "clubbing", and criticises anyone she feels isn't hot. She actually openly calls girls ugly and fat.
4) Girls steal from each other all the time. Management regurlarly conduct "purse searches" and steal too.
5) A girl was raped in the VIP room. She was shaking and crying afterward and called the police. During this time the security tape went "missing". The patron said she was a prostitute he'd paid, management said they'd had reports about the girl prostituting (they made this up to support the client), and the rest of the girls were all told to "keep quiet. It's not just your jobs on the line here". Basically the club did this so that the girl would get the rap, not the club. Everytime they do something illegal they have a renovation and name change. Red Garter = drug bust. Bad Girls = rape case. Now they are "Love and Rockets".
5) Stupid fines.
Coming in late - $20 per part of hour
Sick with no medical certificate - $50
Sick with medical certificate - $20
Leaving early - $0-$200 depending on managers discretion. re- are you a favourite?

More fines from Bad Girls Valley
- Taking off shoes - $20
- Not hustling enough - entire fee of next dance
- Not giving customers enough attention - $20
- "Fat warning" (for being to fat) - $20
- "Looks warning" (looks not up to standard) - $20
- Not wearing 6inch stilettoes - $50 per night
As you can see most of these fines are up to the managers discretion. I left after they tried to give me a fat warning, considering a weigh only 49kg. I suspect I got the warning because a favourite went and contacted my photographer about modelling shoots and was told she wasn't right for modelling, and she told management about this. Management actually pleaded with me to make my photographer reconsider and I told them I didn't have any influence, so within 10 minutes I was given a "fat warning" while I was performing on stage in front of everyone. Classy.
I only stayed for 6 weeks with all this shit because money for me was awesome. I wasn't a favourite yet I pulled $1500-$2000 a weekend through tips. The girls here are as dumb as f*** and I'm somewhat smart. Guys will pay a lot to talk to a smart woman. Here I'd talk for 1 song then go to excuse myself, usually they'd object saying they want to talk longer, I'd come back with "well time is money, so I've got to be off making it". If they let me go, so be it, usually however they'd plead a bit and I'd say "Well I get $20 to do a nude stage, so I'd like to make that $20". They'd hand it over easy, and as it's a tip, the club doesn't see a cent of it.

You're tell me!
Sometimes even when the money is awesome..... you just have to cut your losses. Sometimes the BS is just not worth it. This is the part of strip club dancing I do not miss.... thanks for the heads up.
Interesting about how it changes names often... and how it takes the side of the client/customer. Not a great place to work if you don't know that the club doesn't have your back :(
I guess tho' ... some people (dancers) are willing to put up with the BS for the money.
what I can't get over is the whole being fined for being sick WITH a medical certificate! WTF? That's shocking!!!

Let me just clarify the absurdity of the original post about Bad Girls in the Valley. I was actually working the night that Username candaceq trialled:
* First and foremost no one ever got raped in the VIP room - simply impossible it is part of the club you can see it as soon as you walk in.
* There is a strict no drug policy and we have cameras everywhere to ensure the safety of patrons and us girls
* Candaceq trialled for 2 hours at the most NOT 6 weeks. I spoke to our manager who by the way is not a lesbian - she is married with a 6month old baby and she had never met her before and was amused about the claims she asked her to come work at our club and the nonsense about the photographer!!!! By the way I have been there over a year - there is no such thing as a fat warning! It is true that we have late fees and fees if we don't show up for work but the rest is just crap! ..... What planet are you on - such a vivid imagination!!!!
* We have a great group of girls - not one is "as dumb as F***" as you say. How do you go around saying something like that about us when you have never even spoken to us or met us for that matter??? And you do realise you are being hypocritical considering you allegedly heard one of us girls comment about you while you were on stage (great supersonic hearing by the way) and were upset about the fact that we would say something like that and in the same breath turn around and collectively defame us ….. for a supposed “smart” woman you lack a large degree of intellect but I give you 5 stars for imagination.
FYI Our owner bought it when it was the Red Garter and then changed it to Bad Girls without changing anything to brand it easier and now that we have totally renovated it into a SUPER club I suppose he wanted a different name to take away any stigma there was with the previously un-renovated scene.
I honestly don’t think you belong in any club, you need some serious help. You don’t need to lie and create absurd stories to make friends. Where do you get off bagging all other clubs as well ….. I’m quite certain you have created more enemies than friends with your crazy allegations.

This is to cadenceq.
I am the girl that apparently made a comment about you when on stage whilst you were trialing at bad girls last week, its funny how you said on here that i made a comment about you whilst you told my manager that i was laughing at you. At least if anything pick a story and stick to it if your going to lie. You have some serious issues girl!
I would like to tell you that at the time that you were on stage, the guy i was talking too, who you were infact talking to prior to me approaching him, told me your "story" about how you had damaged your wrists during multiple skiing accidents and how you refuse to do any pole work, hunnie if you refuse to do any pole work at least learn how to dance! tripping over the bottom of the pole won't get you anywhere. Also we only talked about you for a couple of minutes if any and i actually talked you up and said you were a really nice girl. I would never have the disrespect to laugh or comment about anyone on stage, as i was once new too and im just not that type of person.
I really feel sorry for you.. you need help. Why tell lies about an awesome club that you obviously know nothing about especially when you couldnt even perform or work with the patrons on hand and stick out even one trial night there.
hehehaha

Okay,
A few questions:
* Which Brisbane clubs are looking to hire dancers ?
* Which Brisbane club(s) should girls try to avoid and why ?
* Which Brisbane club(s) allow girls to work one or two days a week without too much of a penalty ?
* Is the club percentage or fee based ?
* What is the minimum requirements in hours and/or 'shifts' (and what's the start/finish times) ?
Lastly, how is the hiring process at each club ?
I'm looking for an update to my information that I already have as well as to collate it for myself.
