Ok, I said I would email Jen to see where she would be at the Arnold Expo. She will be at the Bulk Nutrition booth! So go say hi!!! ;D
You should also email Jen and tell her that whoever put this statement under their Chicago Phat Camp location is asking for major problems: " The gym, Central Park Athletic Club is LITERALLY RIGHT NEXT DOOR!!!!
So, if you are coming in from Ohare airport, you don't really need to rent a car...you will be able to walk to the gym.
Bolded part by me. O'Hare is an International Airport. There are no sidewalks and it sits, literally, on an old Orchard Farm (hence the airport name ORD). Lisle is also a 30 minute DRIVE from O'Hare. Anyways...anyone coming in from O'Hare would need to either bus it, cab it, or rent a car. For someone not from the Chicago area, who takes those directions literally, can really be a pissed of Phat camper.
I already tried emailing them, but no one ever responded. ;)
Anyways, sorry for the thread hi-jack.

actually i don't want to BE a fitness model...just want to look like one.
;D
couldn't pass that one up...even though it's the truth.
I'm presuming your talking about steroids when you say drugs.
Yes, but there are many others involved in the mix also.
As a competition judge do you find it hard then to judge competitors who do use them with competitors who you know don't, as I'm sure there must be some that do not that you think would be more deserving because they did it all naturally.
As a judge, I have no idea who did is drug assisted and who didn't, so you attempt to put the best person that day in the top slot and nothing else. I don't concern myself with who may or may not be using drugs as I don't consider it any of my business. I am turned off however by some of the really clear signs that detract from the person and that can go against them when competing. Regardless, most people using drugs will never compete, they just like to be big and strong which is fine by me.
I have discovered something that should have been obvious. Since reading your post I did a weeks experiment with the use of a high protein food intake and low carb and I found I was hungry almost continually.
Then you maybe doing something wrong there.
Reading the links to various fitness competitors interviews, most of them say that have like 7 small meals a day and take protein drinks in between. Are these protein drinks also meant for curbing the hunger pangs as well as building muscle?
More or less yes.
Interesting to know that flying makes you retain water.
That it will.
I'm curious, will either of you guys be in Columbus for the Arnold event? I plan on being there!!
Even though you blew us off last year, gonna make it this year Ms Thing??? Hope so...:)

Where you been girl? I will be at the Arnold also of course. Just waiting on my press creds so I can get around as needed. From the limited pics of you I have seen, I think you could do well in figure.
An update to this thread. The NPC/IFBB has recently added a bikini division. For those who are interested in competing and "breaking into" the biz, etc, this new division is a good choice for those with a more bikini style body, which is more of the hourglass shape. The bikini division is a softer look then figure/fitness, which may appeal to more here. The tend to be fit, "toned" but not hard, with perhaps a hint of abs. If you have been interested in competing, but didn't think figure/fitness, or bodybuilding was for you, bikini might be an excellent option.
Although you will see some fairly muscular gals competing in bikini (usually bbers trying to switch over to bikini), they don't tend to win as that's not what they are looking for in this division.
I think this vid of Pittsburgh IFBB Bikini Champ Nathalia Melo gives a perfect example of what the 'perfect' bikini body is for the NPC bikini division:

Obviously, there have been bikini contests around forever, but those who want to do it via the NPC -> possible pro IFBB route, now have a bikini division to consider also.
Folks, I have added a video version of this article that's sort of confirms/updates the comments in the article:
