OMFG!!! I play Wh40k!!! I am such a Wh geek, lol. I have a 3500+ dark angels army with another 2500+ deathwing army attachment.

I am also slowly painting a buddies 4000+ orc army, lol. Hubby plays tau.

tell me... what is your secret shame???

My fav movies of all time are old flicks. Like these:

Some Like It Hot
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
Seven year Itch
Casablanca (just watched it again about an hour ago)
Gone With the Wind
Two Mules for Sister Sara
Tora Tora Tora
A Bridge Too Far
Iwo Jima

I still jump from being scared when I watch scarey movies.:O

Steven King is the only author that has caused me to be up all night watching out for something coming to get me, lol.

I love "geeky' stuff like I have all the baldurs gate games and expansions, I play Runescape every day, and I still have Magic cards, D&D books, and Shadow Run stuff.

I can and will eat a whole jar of pickles in one sitting.

I love collecting old stuff like movie prints and wedgewood jasperware china.

I know how to knit, and cross stitch, and I can only play two songs on the guitar, and piano (2 diff songs for each, lol).

I am a tomboy at heart and I actually hate shopping.

I think I would throw a party if something happened to my ex hubby.}:D

I cry every night cause I miss my mom so damn much. :'( On the 13th,( yeah the day before V-Day) it will be 6 yrs since she died, and it does get a little easier; but not by much.

I don't know what I would do without this website, you guys are some of the only "real" girlfriends I have ever had.;)

Wow, now I'm crying over me being too damn mushy, lol.:-\

Also have a hearty Transformers addiction and am psyched for the upcoming movie. Despite it being declared a fake, this made me smile.

http://66.36.231.133/~ifjabbl/c.o.FilmRot.ILM-Transformers-Test.mpeg

I've actually heard rumors from friends in the industry that it's NOT a fake, that it's being used to judge Internet reaction, but hey...as they said on the other board I haunt more frequently.

omg my head asplode

I cried when Optimus Prime died in the movie in the movie theater..I was young, but still. Easily the most traumatic death sequence as Prime was my hero at the time.

I own Dark Crystal. I called a Dancer who annoyed the hell out of me a Gelfling for weeks because she looked like one.

And..I actually watched and enjoyed The Prince of Tides :(.

Hell I wish mine were!!!

The fucker calls me one my way to work just to piss me off and put me in a bad mood so I don't make any money.

I don't even answer my phone any more 1/2 the time. and when i do and it's him, I just say "If this isn't a matter of life and death, hang up now before i go all 0 to bitch in a half a heart beat." he usually hangs up then, lol!!!

My secret shame is trying to avoid this thread.

I have complete sets of "Magic the Gathering" Cards. I love dual lands and Serra Angels.
I was a Biophysics major my freshman year of college.... I HATE organic chemistry.
I was at a reception and was elated that I got Ann Landers a glass of water.

Onimusha I & II & ... nuff said.

John Denver.. yes. and "I like Pina Coladas"
I also have the Mama Mia sound track.

I was chasing my son with a wheelbarrow this summer ... hit a hole. ... ran the handle into my chest and broke a rib. That hurt like a M.... F....er. Is that shameful or stupid?

I use to many ..................... for illustration.

My tragic, secret shame can be sumed up four simple words...Saved By The Bell. SCREECH IS GOD!! Although I did go through a period where I couldnt watch the show after seeing Showgirls well since the chick that played Jesse was in it.

This is a little emotional, so *deep breath* here goes:

1) Looooooooove Harry Potter...as in check the 'net for updates all the time so I can get a reserved copy of the book at midnight the day it comes out, and stay up reading it regadless of how long until I've read it all. Oh, and the Series of Unfortunate Events books are really cute, too. Thankfully I have a 6yr old, so when I repeatedly check these out at the library I always make some comment about how my daughter loves the stories...lol

2) Watching Saved by the Bell right now! Morning ritual with daughter before she goes to school!

3) Biggest shame? I found a New Kids On the Block VHS tape and couldn't resist. *sigh* Jordan doesn't know what he missed out on! lol

I am thoroughly hung up on Full Metal Alchemist right now. And I cried when Major Hughes died.

I also had to be taught by a dancer that it's wise to put the detergent in the water before the clothing if you're spending the evening under the black light and want dancers to sit on your lap.

In the same time span, another used my inability to wash clothing correctly to locate me in the club.

I used to have to shave knuckle hair...thank god that went away.

And I spent like four days straight trying to jump INTO my pants to defeat the 'I put my pants on one leg at a time just like blah blah blah.' I wanted to be different. When someone said that shit, I wanted to say 'NOT ME MF, I'M BETTER THAN YOU.'

Turns out it's not true...on both accounts...my secret shames.

^^ classic! (guess whose next secret shame will be that she tried jumping into her pants?)

this thread was borne of my suspicion that everyone is a shameful beast and in fact, there is no such thing as a truly 'cool' person.

the irony seems to be that the more shameful your shame, the cooler you are.

Mastridonicus

Only in the 'uncool' do we truly find entertaining. Heh.

I think I may have to say I actually DO write erotic fiction.

Line by Christopher Walken in "Blue Oyster Cult / Cowbell" skit:

"Gentlemen, I put my pants on one leg at a time just like you guys. Only after I put my pants on, I make gold records!"

Omg cowbell skit....I own every single Will Ferrill movie there is. And his best of SNL series. I love him and want to bear his children, sometimes.

I love saved by the bell too.

I once got a black eye while playing hide and go seek in the dark. I ran *RIGHT* into some monkey-bars type piece of playground equipment, which happened to be the exact height of my eyes. Yeah...it wasn't even that long ago either...cough, 3 years? COME ON, I have nieces and nephews! lol...

Hahaha, I once got busted in 5th grade kissing a Jean Grey Poster in my Locker.

One Valentines day I saved up a ton of money to get a bunch of flowers for a girl in HS but was so intimidated by her new BF, I gave them to him and acted like I was doing him a favor.

I used to play Thriller in my living room while pretending to shoot/trap ghosts using a fruit-shipping box I turned into a Proton Pack and a Whiffleball bat connected to it with a string. I used a shoebox and rope for the Trap.

Light is green, Trap is clean.

Shayden
02-24-2006, 03:39 PM
And the shame begins....

I play pokemon, still, right now. I get yelled at by my day job boss for playing during work on my gameboy. Me and my 26 year old brother battle each other all the time. We have competitions to see who can beat the games first and "catch them all". I have a level 92 Mew!

I read all the Harry Potter books, they help me destress. I also play the video games too.

I searched for 6 months on Ebay for a Hugga Bunch VHS.

I am deathly afraid of those dress-up creatures, like Mickey Mouse and Chuck E Cheese. They move around but they DON'T TALK!!! Gives me the hibbie-gibbies every time they come up to me.

I cheat at every single video game I own. First thing I do when I buy a video game....print out the walkthrough.

I used to practice kissing on my My Size Barbie. Ekk!

I also dressed up in her clothing and stripped to the stripper mouse on The Great Mouse Detective in my living room for my mother.

That's a guy secret. Most of my button-down shirts have never been unbuttoned. I'll let a dancer unbutton several buttons, but never all of them.

I collect free porn video trailers and rate them. It's a cheap thrill hobby. I store them on free CDs I got from CompUSA. :-\

Yes, you do. Only it was called Lassie then. Syndication apparently has decided the name must be different. Recall that Rudd Weatherwax was always Lassier's owner/trainer. You know, Tom Rettig (Jeff) became a FoxPro developer, not an actor; he died of a heart attack years ago.
