K, I looked on beatport and soulseek before posting that, didn't find it. I get most of my stuff on beatport. What am I missing?? On my soulseek searches I MIGHT find one user who has the song, but there's always 387 people on que so that's pointless. ehh
And Maimed, I never said all SCDJs are monkeys, just that 99% could be REPLACED by one ;D I am sure you're part of the 1% who's worth a damn :P
Oh and thanks for the link.

Thanx for tha thanx!! The only flaw I see in your logic is that 99% of the simian world would be too smart to take a SCDJ job}:D !! Here is another link if you are still having a problem;
If all else fails you can PM me as I might be able to get ahold of that elusive mythical munkee that sometimes shares hard to get songs with fellow SW'ers;) . I gotta go get bent like a pretzel and continue learning how to walk again this afternoon...will be around this evening.

i would suggest you go one beatport.com, look at a few of the different genres and give em a preview listen, find other artists in that genre you like and then look at the people who remixed their tracks and see what else those remixers have done, and if those artists have done original works, keep that cycle going

Well i asked about Kaskade because I've heard one of their songs that I know I liked, but I dont know the name of it. Its been a long time since I heard it.

Beatport is definitely THE resource. But usually I check out youtube when I find a track I like. It helps to point me in the direction of remix versions and/or other tracks by the same artist. After that, I go to Amazon and check out the "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought" section.
^Thanks guys. I saw the link a few posts back. I should've looked first, LOL.

Some good Florida Breakbeat tracks:
Your Love (DJ Icey Mix) - DJ Icey (hard to find 1996 on CD "Selection")
Passion - K5 (another oldie but goodie)
Turn the Lights Down - Trinity Hi-Fi (on Baby Anne's "I'm About to Break")
Let Me be Your Fantasy - Baby D (not a Florida track, but a CLASSIC rave anthem and a great upbeat tune to dance too - tons of remixes available)
Love Song (Naimee Coleman - Funklab remix) - Naimee Coleman (excellent remix of a great cover of the classic tune by The Cure on "Funklab:Live")

there isnt anything that can be done about the territory restrictions, i have asked brad (co-owner of beatport and one of my buddies) personally about getting me a couple territory restricted tracks, and he wouldnt budge, theres some serious legal red tape on it. another avenue you might persue is contacting steve smooth directly, via email or myspace and see what he says about getting you that track, artists are usually pretty good about checking up on that kind of stuff and getting back to you.

Check out Niki Belucci. Apparently she's a European porn star turned DJ who spins in nothing but her head phones. Her tracks "Sex in the House," and "Oriental Sex Express" are pretty hot.
Also try:
Sex Girl - George Morel vs. Chris Montana (Thomas Gold Mix)
Bleeding Heart - David Vendetta ft. Rachel Starr (White Rabbit Mix)
Girls - Sidney Samson ft. Lady Bee
Crush on You - Joe Le Taxi (Acapella)
Is You Is or Is You Ain't My Baby - Dinah Washington
Sex Drugs & Drugs - Princess Superstar

spinning in the headphones is actually the most accurate way to mix. with everything but a rane, or an allen and heath, there is a 1/8th of a second delay between the monitor and the headphones, and all in the headphones is actually the way i mix when i play parties and nightclubs.

As long as she can beat-match and mix, I don't care what she looks like, or if she's wearing an Amish outfit.
Of course, if she can mix, spins some of the funkiest, bassiest electro breaks around, AND is hot to boot, so much the better. <3 Baby Anne:
