OK. I thought of some more useful phrases, and will reiterate some important ones. If anyone wants to add, or has alternative methods of phrasing a sentence, please do!

Quieres un baile? (Do you want a dance?) Obviously, this is the most important Spanish phrase for any dancer to know.

Cuanto cobras?/Cuanto son los bailes? (How much do you charge?/How much are the dances?)

mas al rato (later) This is what he says when he's blowing you off.

Te puedo tocar/touchar? (Can I touch?)

No me toques!/No me beses! (Don't touch me!/Don't kiss me!) These are commands so say them in an authoritative tone-e.g. when he doesn't listen to you and still tries to touch you anyway.

Si me tocas una vez mas, me voy. (If you touch me one more time, I'm leaving.)

Tienes que pagar antes de empezar. (You have to pay before we start.) This is very useful.

Necesitas cambio? (Do you need change?)

Esperamos hasta la proxima cancion (para empezar). [We'll wait for the next song (to start)].

Es todo. (That's all)

Se acabo (with accent on the o) la cancion. (The song's over/done with).

Quieres mas? (Do you want more?)

El club va a cerrar muy pronto. Si todavia quieres un baile, no te queda mucho tiempo. (The club's going to close soon. If you want a dance, you don't have a lot of time left.)

That's all I can think of right now. Que les sirvan estas frases!

I only know a few "spanish" phrases.

My head is very big! - Mi cabeza is muy grande!
I have a rash. - Tengo una erupción.
Do you eat paste? - ¿Usted come la goma?
I love cheese! - Amo el queso!

Sirona those were funny!

Bailey, Im going to have to use those once I get back to work. Thanks for everyones contributions. I actually used some before I took my break for surgery and they worked. Eventhough they sounded so broken they still were appreciative and didnt screw me on tips.

^^^Yeah, it seem like the effort is usually appreciated, even if your "Spanish" is total gibberish like mine. You know how accents always seem to make girls hotter...when you're speaking Spanish you finally you get to be the girl with the accent. Just the other night I made BANK off a Mexican native who spoke virtually no English. All I can say in Spanish is "How are you?", "Kiss my ass" and "Do you want a dance?" but you'd be surprised how far that vocabulary will take you...

Funny note: I'm actually about to start a conversation class with some colleagues of mine from the yoga studio where I teach part-time. But none of them know I dance, and I doubt this is the appropriate context to ask for help with phrases like "There is no sex in the Champagne Room" and "Please don't touch my vagina." }:D

LOL. Grace, you are very funny. I always tell girls that want to come down here to dance they need a little Spanish or they're screwed! My friend from Mass. worked in downtown Miami with me and couldn't remember anything I taught her, and got really frustrated. My newest word: pestanas (w/ a tilde but I don't know how to type it). It means eyelashes and I love to yell it people. ;)

No, Grace, it's cool: "Don't touch my pussy; if you touch it I will break your fingers."
