Egads I dunno exactly, but I'd have to say no more than $40-$45? I think. I usually get mine from thrift stores. $0.50 - $1.00 a pair.

last pair of jeans i bought were $AU80. styles of jeans move so quickly that i refuse to shell out up to $AU400 for Sass & Bide or Bettina Liano... if they're going to be collectively GAY in 3 months.

even though most of my 'fashion' clothes are deductible for castings/jobs etc, i still like to skiv my way through with reasonably priced things that fit. i want to spend my money on shit that doesn't depreciate... or end up in the donation bag for the dog people.

i remember when Levi's were cool here once, i paid about $AU145 for them... i can't believe how much of a markup is on them, if you guys can pick them up for $US24 ($AU30).

the older i get, the less i give a rats about showing off a brand to someone. :witch:

that's coz it's all about MEEEEEE (not the damn jeans):drum:

;) 8) :P

I personally have spent as much as about $90ea on some Express jeans (they were special edition pairs). They NEVER look good on my once I get home, and I always forget to take them back, so I always end up donating them to local non-profit resale shops. (Lucky women that buy them for only a few bucks).

Anyways, lately I've been sticing to basic Levi's. They fit nice and since I'm in the middle of losing weight, I don't want to spend a lot of money on lcothes right now.

BUT...when I lose my last 8 lbs, I'll be shopping the sale section of www.shopbop.com. I'm eyeing a few pairs of Sevens and also Chip & Pepper.

$250 for Frankie B jeans at a store on Austin Street when I was living in Forest Hills, Queens.

Aww, home! That's where I'm from, and incidentally, where I purchased my most expensive pair of jeans ever. $110 for the greatest pair of Sergio Valentes. Did you get yours at Austin Jeans or Lulu's Boutique? Haha I think those are the 2 most overpriced places on Austin Street.

I prob spent the most on my Victoria Beckham RR's. I think they were around $280.

I love how Rock and Republic's fit. It's great that they're made long.

No more than $60, and usually between $30-40. Seven for All Mankind and all that shit can be picked up cheaply on eBay or at Filene's Basement. But I only wear Levi's.

40 dollars for myself. My boyfriend mentioned something about getting me pants by seven and I said hell no, there is no way I'd let someone spend that much on pants......bags, wallets, shoes yes, but jeans not for me.

Literally, under $10. I can't remember spending more than $7, but maybe I went crazy once and spent $9.

I live in an area filled with great thrift stores, with no one to ravage them but me and old ladies.I wanna go shopping with you!!!

I've probably spent $60-$80 a couple of times. That is about my cap. The designer stuff doesn't fit me right. The waist is always too big (or the butt is too little), & the thighs are usually snug & the waist is too high (I'm 4'11"), even when I'm a 0 this happens. I almost bought a pair for $120, but decided against them because they were embellished and I was afraid that the paint would come off, a couple of days later I stopped at TJ Maxx and found the same thing for $30 or $40, I can't remember exactly.

Anyway I usually dress much nicer anyway. I seldom wear jeans & don't usually pay more than $30-$40 bucks for them. I guess I'm old-school because to me no matter how much you pay for them they are still not "dress clothes" & should only be worn for the most casual of occasions, kind of like sweats, I'm not going to wear them outside of the house no matter what kind of a price tag some designer slaps on them.
