View Full Version : Tina's Guide To Clubs That Offer Advance Bookings And Base Pay

No offense but $1100-2500 with base pay for a six day work week seems extremely low to me. Especially after travel expenses!
Why travel at all?
I have been considering traveling but I would expect to make more than I can make if I worked full time at home.
I do appreciate the info Tina!!

A few of the clubs I work at offer more than a $120 base pay, which I think is ridiculous since it barely covers a hotel room.
^I make around $1100-3000 a week not includingt the base pay which is between $400 and $500 dollars depending on the club.
I don't mind the slow weeks, gives me more time with my regulars, and I can try out a few new moves or whatever. Busy weeks are good but sometimes I barely have time to breathe.
UPDATE: Boji Nights is for sale, grandfathered in for strip club. Still needing a variety of dancers. Base pay available, hotel nearby. Book at least a month in advance for summer.

I have read this post time and time again it is such awesome info. Thanks so much.
Is everything pretty much current including what Gem offered?
Keep in mind that clubs are slower everywhere. I've worked 6 nights in big city clubs when it is slow and made less than $600-$700. And I'm not alone. You guys all know dancers are big on exaggerating their earnings. They tell you about their good nights but not about their string of slow ones.
I'm being HONEST with you. You guys know how much you are making in 6 nights at home. If you are making $6000 after tip outs on a REGULAR basis for 24 days work, stay at home.
If on the other hand in the last 24 days of work you have netted under $4000 as I know is the case with many girls nowadays, a 4-5 week block of bookings periodically may be beneficial to you if you follow my instructions and are a good and friendly floor worker.
For example, these are my weekly earning for 6 night weeks booked this year:
$1508.00
$1815.00
$1693.00
$1574.00
$2040.00
$1670.00
$2296.00
plus $1900.00 from my regular
Business is slower now just like everywhere else. You just have to accept the slow with the not as slow. In the end if you work enough it can all balance out.

For those that think Tina's figures are far lower than what you make at home, could you post the clubs where you work? Tina, and others on this thread, have generously given the names of clubs where they make money and the kind of figures one can expect to average there. Yes, I know, asking how much a dancer makes is a huge faux pas (even on SW, lol). I'm just saying that if you think Tina's, Gemini's, and other ladies' expectations/earnings are too low, then please clue us in as to where we CAN make the good bucks!
TIA!
That being said...
I absolutely agree with Tina that business is slow EVERYWHERE! Other dancers I've met on the road have confirmed this, stating that the well-known clubs in both SD and ND have been much slower than usual for the first part of this year. The clubs I've been traveling to in WI have been a bit slower than average, though not nearly as bad as my clubs in IL. Those have seen a serious slow-down since the new smoking ban went into effect January 1st.
Another dancer and I are speculating about heading to Alaska this summer during the salmon run. A friend of hers was there for a month last year and averaged $2500/wk. I've searched the threads on Alaska and from a few statements that figure doesn't sound impossible.
The Lamp Liter in Ottawa, IL is currently looking for new dancers, but at this time (with how slow it's been) I wouldn't recommend it to anyone from out of town. They generally book about 8 weeks in advance.

Im really thinking about doing a 5-6 week travel trip. My problem is so many clubs were recommended and somethings have changed since the OP.
So my question is where do I start? I want the clubs to be somewhat close to lessen drive time and want to do my trip starting the 3rd week of June. Is it too early to contact clubs? What would be my best bets if Im choosing 6 clubs?

I've searched the threads on Alaska and from a few statements that figure doesn't sound impossible.Toooooooooo many girls trying to go to Alaska. Those clubs are small and can't support so many travellers yall. There are not that many guys with that much money to spend. $2500/week is crap money for the travel expense going to AK. I wouldn't leave home for that and I damn sure wouldn't spend the money to go to AK, too expensive. After expenses I'd take home more than that almost anywhere.
The tales of crazy money in AK are outdated and exaggerated.
As for the question of where to make better than $2k/week on a 6day workweek. To be really frank if I work 6 days in a week ANYwhere I'll be pissed off to bring home $2k, especially if that includes a base pay.
That said, I usually do better on a nightly average when I don't have to work as much. Like, if I'm consistently working 6 nights per week I'm going to run out of energy and my nightly averages will drop. I find I can generally make the same or more in 3-4 nights because I'm not worn out, more on my game. I do not dick around at work - I go in full force every time so I burn out fast.
I'm betting I'm not alone in this. If girls would always work 3-4 nights per week and put their all into it each time, I bet most would find their weekly earnings would be the same or BETTER.
As for where to go for a few weeks back to back, I'd start from the list in this thread, pick some that look most interesting, find them on mapquest (and see how far apart they are), and start calling. See which ones have availability during your planned travel time. Then plot those with availability on a map and see in which order it makes most sense to book them. Like, don't book yourself so you're doing a giant zigzag, but try to book yourself in some kind of line. I generally prefer to go to the farthest place first then work my way back so I don't have as far to drive at the end when I'm tired and just wanna get home.
Try to schedule yourself so you won't have to drive more than 4-6 hours between bookings. Mapquest is your friend! Since you generally only get 1 day off on these deals, you don't want to have to spend that entire day driving. Get yourself a cooler and buy healthy food and snacks that you can keep in the cooler. You can shop at the grocery store for 2-3 days easily and keep the food in the cooler - saves time on the road and keeps you eating better.
If you don't have a GPS (or even if you do) a big road atlas should be handy in your car at all times. I have a GPS but I still use my atlas to look at the big picture on long drives. It's useful to see where you're going on a real map.
Look up hotels online and reserve rooms well in advance to get the best rates. Do this as soon as you book your clubs. It is a good idea to ask the booking agent for each place you plan to work about hotels - they often have deals with some local places where girls can stay cheap.
It helps to have references when trying to book a club for the first time. If you know someone personally who has worked a club before, mention that (as long as you've cleared it with your friend first!). Some of these clubs book up fast and they don't like to give away spots to girls who are totally unknown to them. Offer to send them pictures - and send good recent pics.
When you make a booking, SHOW UP. Complete the full week, show up on time, and do your best. Go in with a good attitude. Understand these are small clubs in small towns and they are not going to be like the big city clubs you may be used to. Be adaptable. Be nice to everyone. Don't talk shit to ANYone - it WILL get around.
Bring your music on CDs - it is a good idea to burn a few copies for yourself in case some get lost or damaged. Before you leave home burn a few sets of music, up to 20 minutes worth, of songs you'd like to dance to in order. You may find yourself in a club with only a CD player where you just put in your own CD and play it for your alloted stage time.
When it comes to packing clothes, bring mostly work stuff and the bare minimum street clothes - you will mostly be working so you won't need alot of regular outfits. 1 or 2 nice outfits and a bunch of gympants and wifebeaters plus a jacket or two is all I bring. You won't want to lug around a bunch of suitcases for weeks. Bring several work outfits of different types. A gown or two, at least a couple dresses and some 2piece sets. Bring at least a couple pairs of comfortable shoes. Plenty of thongs and at least a couple garters - these take up very little space and are SO necessary. Last thing you need is to be stuck in bumfuck needing a thong or garter!
Oh and bring a sewing kit with several thread colors, band-aids and super-glue! I can't tell ya how many times these things have come in handy while I was on the road. When the bottom sole of my shoe comes loose, I just super-glue the thing back and it stays for weeks.

Sorry I wasn't more specific! :)
The $2500/wk average was AFTER expenses, and to be honest I don't know how many nights she worked every week. Probably six, though.
For me, that is very good money. I would love to get pissed off at making $2K a week!! If you can go virtually anywhere and make more than that, then you go girl!
Reading those sorts of $ amounts here on SW is both encouraging and frustrating because:
1)It's great to know that that sort of money is being made, which means it is completely possible for me to see those sort of figures.
and
2)Knowing that the money IS out there, but not at any clubs I've worked (and I'm at least mid-range on the earner scale) just drives me crazy trying to find out what cities and what clubs DO get that kind of money. :P

Random, how long have you been dancing, and where? I've been dancing almost 13 years and in so many places it's hard to count. Definitely more clubs than I am years old ;D I've danced in all types of clubs and I'm very adaptable. Have learned to make money in almost any environment. And I work my ass OFF when I go to work. All these things contribute to my money-making. Hell yes I'd be pissed off if I made $2k in 6 nights. Not that I've never made that - I sure have, and I was damn pissed off about it too LOL!
The point was more that there is money to be made practically anywhere - it's just a matter of getting your hustle down.
Everywhere I go I make money while other girls whine about not making money. They are usually lazy bitches who spend too much time whining or slagging off in the dressing room rather than working. But some are just young, inexperienced, uneducated etc. We can all learn how to make more money if we put in the effort.
I guess what I'm getting at is this: I would spend more time learning how to improve my game and less time looking for that perfect club. There is NO perfect club.
Of course some clubs simply don't have enough business and if you feel you are consistently maxing out at a club (you'll KNOW it when you are) you should probably move on. When you start maxing at one club the only way to make more is to head to another (better) club. I've gone through this plenty of times.
Improve your game. When you max at one club, look for another with better earning potential. If you are willing and able to travel, this can help you in many ways: give you fresh perspective, help you learn more and better hustle techniques, help you learn to adjust to a wider range of clientele, expose you to more clubs which can possibly offer better earnings potential.
Good luck.
>Add: Oh and what I said about Alaska is still true. Those clubs ARE very small and can't support even moderate influxes of girls. Even a few more girls in those places will cause everyone's money to be spread thin. I swear I read about more girls wanting to go to Alaska every freakin week! Those clubs are just not big enough to support that! With all the distance and expense of travelling there, I would never advise girls to go there for work! Also remember that girls often like to exaggerate their earnings, especially to people they know/ work with, so always take reports of big money in a far-away place with a huge grain of salt!

Wow, really glad I found this. This was super helpful.
I did find the whole attitude of not wanting to sticky it because "girls should be looking" more to be very catty, snobby, and, frankly, not very dancer friendly. Some girls are really looking, but not having an easy time searching through four years worth of threads to find the info they need. I found this by searching for "Williston." I never understood this bitchy, catty attitude of withholding helpful information from newbies and beginners. It totally reminds me of the girls at clubs that treat new girls like shit and steal their clothes and other such immature behavior. I am always smiling, ready to help others, and this brings me lots of good karma and makes me a lot of money at work. Must be some old, bitter bitches who don't want to make helpful information easily available to new people who may not be finding it because they are not as messageboard/computer savvy despite the intensity of their search. This isn't the holy fucking grail. You aren't the gatekeepers. Get over yourselves.

I thanked her for the information. I just think that attitude is really lame and all too common. More than anything I found her attitude to be condescending. "Since so many people pm me I am just going to post this shit in BOLD and hope that none of you dumb bitches pm me again. And I refuse to sticky it because you all should be really looking." Pah-lease. Why wouldn't you sticky it if you took so much time to "thoughtfully compile" it? Three girls stated they had a hard time finding it and would she please sticky it. No, this is the sacred prize and you have to battle the dragon before you can enter the gate. That is super whack and I am tired of this attitude from dancers. It is catty. I can't stand people who pretend to be helpful while their disdain and irritation is obvious.

I understand why you're irritated by this attitude, but I guarantee you'll understand it eventually. Once you've gained more experience and have either traveled with or referred dancers whose behavior causes trouble for you, you'll think differently.
Many of us have freely given information out only to have it bite us in the ass because a dancer who used our name or traveled with us ended up being an unproductive basket case. It's not fun having to explain to a booker why that girl who said you sent her showed up, got wasted, and didn't make any money. Nor would it be cool to have them say, "Did you find out about us on that stripper website?" as if it were a negative.
There's no need to act as if Tina, or anyone in Club Chat, is purposely trying to hide information. All she asks for is a cursory search for the names or cities of any of the clubs mentioned.
If you publicly disclose where you are, you might be helpful to the first twenty members who PM you asking for the scoop on your club, but after writing out the information multiple times and not even getting a "thank you," you might feel like it's a waste of time, too.

Well the Aragon was alittle slower than usual. Atleast that is what the girls had told me. They told me not to judge the club by the couple of weeks I was there. The weather had been warming up and blah blah blah. I hear this everytime I go somewhere.
I did okay though. The customers were nice. They do expect to atleast touch your boobs during a dance. Seeing as how I used to dance in Dallas, I was relatively okay with this. Dances are still $20 dollars. They do not take anything out of the dances.
The stage sets are 20 minutes long. The rotation goes pretty quickly on nights where there are only four girls. There is a juke box instead of a dj. You have to pay $7 dollars for the juke box at the beginning of the shift.
I have some current information. The booking manager is now a woman named Amy. She only lets you book one week at a time, but made an exception for me because I was coming all the way from Texas. She made it very clear that this wasn't typical. My first week I only received $250 for base pay because they consider it an auditioning week. Then, I received $300 for the following week.
You are expected to tip out to the bartender and the bouncer who walks you out. This is pretty much up to you, but the standard was $10 and $5. There were some nights where I didn't feel it was necessary to have anyone walk me out. The cab was parked right by the front door.
There is also a regular bar in the same building. The two are separated by a door. Sometimes younger patrons will wander back and forth between the too. Once the strip club portion closes at 12:45, everyone migrates back over to the other side. If you have to use the ladies room on that side, it is required that you put your street clothes back on.
After that two weeks, I went back to the Northern for another two weeks. It was drastically different than the last time I went. Granted, the last time I went was six months ago. There is currently flooding in Fargo. That was the excuse given for the extreme slowness. Also, the customers have become entitled, spoiled, and manipulative just like in a big city.
My earnings compared to last time were terrible. It was like pulling teeth to get customers to buy dances. Part of the problem is because it is no contact, the men are not interested. They can go to clubs in Minnesota that offer way more liberal dances. You also get harassed about "dating".
With all of that considered, the house girls were even meaner than last time. There was more drama and it was even more competitive than before. The club had 13+ girls on weekdays and 18+ on the weekends. There were definitely not enough guys for every girl.
Here is the current info. You book through the owner's wife, Mary. It is no longer free to stay in the dorm. The current dorm is much nicer than the previous one. Or atleast, this is what I was told. The dorm fee is $25 a week if you are in an open/common sleep area. It is $100 a week to have a room with a locking door. If you come up with a friend, then it is only $50 a week.
There is a mandatory $55 dollar house fee. Apparently, they split that up and tip out all of the staff with this money. This also explains why they have too many girls on the floor. You MUST be there at 5:00 pm. If you show up at 5:10, it is still a late fee. The late fee is an extra $10 dollars. You can show up at 7:00 pm, but no later. That late fee is $35.
The dances are $25. $5 goes to the bouncer who gives you entry to the couch dance room. They have $10 dollar table dances. You're not supposed to offer the same thing you would in a couch dance. Obviously, who would pay $25 then? However, many of the girls were offering basically a couch dance out on the floor. *grumbles*
The VIP is $125 for 15 minutes. $25 goes to the house. I don't recall what it was for 30 minutes. VIP is a hard sell. It is still no contact. The only difference is you can actually touch the customer's face with your breasts and grind a little bit.
I will not be coming back here for a while. I was very disappointed. The last time I went was okay. This time was just pathetic. Many of the girls were complaining and upset.

Has anyone been booking ahead recently? I am interested in trying it out. I live in the south, but travel to Minneapolis regularly for fairly extended periods of time. I can't dance at home, but would be interested in venturing out for a week or so while I'm in the Cities. (I would consider working in Minneapolis, but my understanding is they are pretty unfriendly to travelers.) I am also interested in knowing how you're paid at these clubs- what documents they require. I'm in the process of getting my massage license at home, and don't want anything jeopardizing it. I am a bit concerned because of all of the background info that is required for the liscencure process, however I managed to work in a club that did not require anything from me, and thus should not have a paper trail. Minimal documentation is preferred, or somewhere that I can claim I was a waitress/bartender...whatever. Any updated info? I appreciate it!

I would run a search on SW for background checks to answer your questions regarding those. Use the advanced search options to narrow your search down: https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/search.php?search_type=1
Then I would make a new thread (this is a very, very old thread) to answer your travel question (or use searching to find a more recent thread answering your questions).

Hey Ladies Any current information on these places?
I recently visited Aberdeen SD money was iffy. Hotels pretty high for a small town.
Club takes 5 dollar from each 20 dollar lap dance
Dancer dressing room is in the basement poorly lit
Staff was really nice I believe the place has potential.
