Some of the most attractive dancers I've seen are/were in their late 30s. For those I've actually known/ talked with etc., I've always complimented them on their appearance and other qualities I appreciate. Not with reference to their age, though after they tell me their age, I just say that the number is very hard to believe. Then I give them more compliments and take them into the den of iniquity in the back for some adult fun.

heh, backhanded compliments... Without thinking I once asked a chick if she'd had implants removed. Is that not the single dumbest thing to say on planet Earth, or what.

This one PL came up to me when I was dancing on stage and said you have the sexiest nose! And kept saying that over & over while he was standing up there but did he tip me? NO!!! As said earlier a nice big tip is the biggest compliment I'll take and agreed in another post when a guy says you're beautiful but you've probably heard that about 1000 times DOES get old!!! Hearing nice compliments like you have beautiful eyes, nice figure, great legs never gets old just when they then have to say but you already know that, don't you? That gets old too! Why can't guys just shut the f&ck up while they're ahead?

I got you beat:
"Don't you think you should choose thongs not as tight?"
wait
no I don't. You win.

oh goodness, I don't wear that to work, that was just a pic for ebay...
I can only imagine the effect of one of those naughty little stage outfits, if you look that good in street clothes.
Aside from the rather obvious superbly toned body, note if you will the natural assurance in her posture. Here is a woman who is quite aware of her sexuality, and is totally unafraid of it. Sass and style, in devastating combination.
Your boyfriend is a very lucky man, and I'm sure your customers appreciate you--the gentlemen among them, at least...
The House of Babes was just outside of Orlando in Longwood, FL. It was 1987 or 1988 when I was stationed at NTS Orlando. They had couches lined along one wall for lapdances. No, they were not entirely private, but it was on a elevated (one or two steps) section with subdued lighting. They used to have lapdancing in Orlando but it was banned in the 1990's.
Yep, the House of Babes--heard all about it from a guy who ranted and raved about the lapdances sometime around 1990. About '94 I knew a dancer from there who hung out at my house in Daytona, who was pretty cool. I also took a wealthy friend of mine there somewhere around 1997-8 or so, shortly before the Family Values people put the hammer down on the Altamonte Springs/Longwood/Orlando stripclub scene.
It was just as you described it, including a few dancers who were quite comfortable with the whole lapdancing phenomenon, and a couple I recall who were horrified by it.

I have to say, while I never get even the tiniest bit tired of compliments, the absolutely best part of looking older is not having guys hoot at me on the street. I thought I would miss it, but the absence of all that crap is a slice of heaven. I guess I never took it as complimentary.
sometimes. men flirt with me constantly in the "real world." sometimes it does get tiring, but the truth is, i enjoy it. i know that, one day, it will slow down and eventually stop. i dread that day.
i've noticed that women often complain about men hitting on them, and yes, men are not always polite about it. it can be rude, irritating, etc. but if it suddenly stopped happening, i'd be willing to bet money that most women would miss it...

Ugh, I hate it when guys "compliment" me by comparing me favorably to another woman they're insulting. I feel like it's insulting to ME if they assume that I would like to hear another woman put down.
ah, but you should hear the multiple ways that guys can tell you that you are a hottie..
example..
him: that girl is pretty
me: she seems nice, I haven't worked with her before
him: well you make her look like a crack whore
me: I love you..

i agree. tonight a customer told me that another dancer (who was on stage at the time) wasn't good enough to carry my tampons. ick! and she's a great girl too! it made me a little sad...
