I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there is no physical weigh to loose eight pounds of fat in five days. You could perhaps loose eight pounds of water weight, or three pounds of fat and five of water weight, but sadly. Unless you are obese, you can't loose more than like 2 lbs of fat a week, maximum.
The reason for this is that it takes 3200 calories to equal a pound of fat. If you gained the weight quickly, you didn't gain all fat, you gained water weight too which can take a few weeks to balance out. But anyway, even if you excercise and eat way less to create a calorie deficet of 1500 calories a day, that still means that in a week you'd loose 2.5lbs of fat.

I'm 5'4...but I am used to being pretty thin.None of my clothes fit and it's cheaper to lose weight than buy a new wardrobe to accomidate my ..um curves . I spent the last month on vacation just eating whatever and boozing it up so I feel all squishy and dimpled...Ever notice that when you gain weight it seems to just show up over night?
im glad this thread was brought back up. i totally feel like i gained a ton overnight! NOTHING fits. im starting to freak out about it.. and i never would have found this thread if you hadnt brought it back so yay :)

I might start a different thread about the master cleanse because there seems to be an interest in this. It's one year later and swift weight loss isn't my total motivation. I have been eating crap and drinking more than I should so I just wanted to clean out my system and jump start a healthier diet.
I'm doing kind of modified version because I have to eat with my current level of activity. I had a protien bar this morning , and two small salads with half a can of tuna fish. I am working out with intense cardio and weights twice a day for an hour each session. And I've been on my feet 5 hours a day the last two days.
I cant tell yet if I am losing any weight but I will say that I do have a ton of energy. I am just trying to stay busy so I don't think about food. I'm sweating like a mutha F.

Even in my current state of pre-menstrual bloat, NOTHING could convince me to try that lemon and cayenne pepper thing. I'd drop dead of boredom and sheer disgust even before my hypoglycaemia caused spontaneous collapse.

I just want to remind you that I AM eating some stuff. But very little. I just don't get how anyone could subsist on that lemonade stuff alone. I felt like I was going to pass out on the treadmill. Worth it . My tummy is flat.

I lost 7 lbs in a week once but it was due to a lot of vomiting and dehydration. So yeah, i lost it, but it wasn't like it really mattered. It's not like I lost 7 lbs of fat.

I'm ready to try vomiting and dehydration. I always do this. I wait until I have a week to get into a swimsuit and then wonder how I can lose weight fast.

Getting sick sure does work! Food poisoning is the key! You'll be leaking from both ends, gets all that pesky fluid out of your body!
But seriously, how bad could it be? I am always bitching about my cellulite these days. Yet when its time to go out on the the lake, I just suck it up and put on that bikini. Lots of girls out there with average bodies. I just try to put on that shimmer lotion, and wear flip-flops with heels. If worse comes to worse, and I feel like an utter cow, I'll just wear some hot pants over the bikini bottoms. Or, perhaps a sarong-like cover up?

lol! I'm not here to be judgemental. But we are the same height, and approx weight right now, so I know how you feel. Shit, I'll be in Vegas with a bunch of hot strippers in a few weeks. Here I am, flabbasus.....

If it's any consolation, I have 5 pounds that refuse to disappear.
I'm using high-fiber to fill up (instead of high-protein) so I think of the Internet Pooping Cat when I'm having my Morning Glory in the bathroom. "I'm POOPIN'!!!!"

can someone post this master cleanse concoction please and the ingredients etc? is it just pepper and natural lemon juice?
also I see 'water pills' coming up alot. I have no idea what these are. Probably am just being super dumb but are they like water retention tablets? I have a pretty important shoot on friday 21st so should I start taking these like 3 days before? Will they flatten my stomach in combination with the master cleanse?

I tried the water pills, ir diuretics. My stripper/bodybuilder friend used them. They made me super-dehydrated and I had a really nasty metallic taste in my mouth. Plus I didn't see any physical difference.

^ You would. I had it. Maple syrup, lemon juice, cayenne pepper... oh my god. You'll lose weight just from being sick. It's what I did.

I would say you're stuck.
You could fast for five days and lose roughly five pounds, maybe some more of water weight if you sauna or something. But it will be mostly water and food weight.
You'll feel like shit for your shoot and look like shit too. And afterwards the weight will come piling back on.
My suggestion would be to eat very healthfully. Some suggested cardio and while workouts are necessary for long term weight loss, over short term I personally tend to bloat and gain a bit. So I would suggest going for LONG walks. I went on a near 8 mile hike and lost two or three pounds by the next day.
Also avoid carbonated drinks and sodium, both of which will make you bloat. Drink lots of water to flush out your system.
Other than that, suck it up and smile at your shoot. Good luck.
