Every once in a while it's ok. But, if you read the labels on the box, you'll notice that it's loaded with carbs and sugar.
For an every once in a while type of treat, it's ok...but to eat several bowls a day all the time, it's not that healthy.

Take it from a Marine....just run and run and run and run, and when you think you've ran enough, run some more. I've seen people loose 10lbs in 10 days before just by running and doin a little cardio machines in the gym. Make sure to eat right and drink plenty of water thought.

when my brother was in the navy he was in awesome shape. but I also think it had to do with eating very little. he said the food was so nasty he usually only ate breakfast, if that.

I just read an article that was on the wall at my gym that said that a bowl of grapenuts is essentially more fattening than a snickers bar. It explained how there is a higher glycemic index to the cereal and that your body will turn it to fat. Of course they didn't suggest you eat the snickers instead but rather to treat cereal like a treat instead of thinking it's such a great thing to eat to lose weight.
Not suprising. When I was in college I ate cereal (Raisin Bran to be specific) as a "midnight snack" thinking it was healthy. I couldn't figure out where the 10 extra pounds was coming from....until I started studying about nutrition/glycemic index. I eventually replaced cereal with protein shake/bar and poof dropped the 10 like that!
