^^^ only one local case I know of ... which the club lost because they were not strictly adhering to the local legal requirements pertaining to 'hotel' room rentals. In order for the 'privacy' argument to be brought into play, the area where the dancer and customers voluntarily exchange whatever must be entitled to a legal 'expectation of privacy' ... a 'hotel room' rental does bring an 'expectation of privacy', whereas a so-called private club room (or for that matter a so-called private restaurant room) does not. The club did look into the legal requirements of actually doing this i.e. renting truly private rooms by the hour, but it involved a whole lot of safety regulations, licensure, inspections, insurance etc. since the club would effectively required to operate the truly private room rentals as a hotel/motel business.
