No one is expecting you to ASK FOR A LAPDANCE at the stage! Sheesh. Telling a girl, "hey, I'm sitting over there, come by and see me later" only directs her to your location in a dark and potentially crowded club. Once she makes it over, its up to her to close the sale.

Tipping a large bill won't mean much if she doesn't see it, and even less if you've been outipped. Sometimes the best strategy is lack of strategy. Its just the first move of the chess game, and opening. Its still anyone's game after you've moved one little rook.

I am (tee hee).

Sorry, but in this day of ever increasing flakiness, its be direct, or be disapointed. Although as we SCJ'ers have pointed out recently, even being direct isn't a 100% percent guarantee (http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?t=72734).

Absolutely. The best way to win the game, is to take the game out of the equation. Why settle for following the rules when you can make the rules?

Well, I was refuting the "no-asking-for-dances" policy in Bridgette's statement, as evidenced by my quote of her. Not specifically at the stage, per se.

I don't do this either. Not because of a rule, but because, as doc will tell you, it seems more and more pointless. With a lot of dancers, it just goes in one ear and out the other.

I guess, once again, we'll have to agree to disagree. :)

I can't say I haven't had bad nights with my no-ask policy and we know you have had yours with directness. No matter how you slice it, there is no perfect method. :(

I have to agree.

Going to try again this weekend, probably with a new club. Certainly couldn't be worse than my last outing.

Where I work now, anyone tipping over $5 gets extra attention from me. Nothing beyond what is regularly allowed on stage though. I also sit with whoever tips me the most.
I try to look at my tip every time, but if I don't remember who tipped me the $5, $10, etc. I will actually walk around each customer how much they tipped. Usually I have a pretty good idea of who it was.
