Well I am very tempted to try this place out tomorrow just to experience it first hand insead of traveling into NJ to work.. Anyway one of my friends worked here for 1 week she made between $1000 to $150. She said last night they has some weird Brazilan and belly dancing acts going on she basically quit and went back to Hustler.

Yes, they are hiring black girls.

And, for the record, I was part of the "weird Brazilan" act, and I thought it was cool. It is nice to see a club in NYC want to do something different by putting on a stage show rather than the boring small stages that no one pays attention to at other clubs.

Like any club the nights are good and bad. I, personally, have sold a room each and every night I have worked there except one. A lot of girls just sit by the bar and talk to each other - not a good money making strategy at any club.

And FYI, that "weird Brazilan" act was not for the grand opening, it was for a private party. The grand opening in on June 12th.

Elizabeth I didn't mean to offend you with my comment. I think my girl was more pissed because she practiced a chair dance (Pussy Cat Doll style) for like 2 months only to find out they are not using it.

Business is okay. I think this club, like any new club, will take a little while to get off the ground. I am finding that it is a pretty solid 300-500 a night. Not great, but okay. I never expect to make that much money in NYC anyway, especially in the summer time. But I am tired of traveling so I am content with the the 300-500 I'm making.

I would say yes, this club is worth a try.

Tatoos (I don't have any) seem to be covered up.

I was so excited to try this club and they opened at the worst time for me. I went away the day after they opened for over three weeks. I just got back and will be starting next week. I'll give everyone an update...

Elizabeth or any other cheetah girls..

Do you actually need a gown to audition? I only have basic stripperwear and don't want to spend $200 on something if I don't get hired..

I called and the guy I spoke with didn't seem know..hm. Ill probably audition tonight or monday depending on the gown thing.

^^ nope I auditioned in regular stripper stuff...also with some hot pink eye shadow and baby blue nails...no tan either, ripped fishnets, (did I mention plastered!! haha) she did comment on all that (except the drunk part phew) and say "honey...this is a gown club." but I got hired and promised to get a gown and blamed the look on my Jerseyness of course lol...only problem is I'm leaving the area soon and thought about making a quick buck but honestly just don't feel like it!

Update I went today and it's a very pretty club. I spoke to the assistant manger name Russ. I went for waitress but he told me I would be better at being a Champagne Host/ess. I dont even know what that is...lol. But I said ok anyway... I need the job. He told me to call in a couple of days(I'm calling Friday). Hopefully I will be working there.

Also they was a guy at the bar he told me I should be a dancer with was flattering but I would rather be helping you girls out.

For right now it's a joke. Dead as a doornail. Maybe, repeat maybe it will pick up after Labor Day but as of now the owners and mgt. do not have a clue how to promote a club. There is NO ADVERTISING ! This place is almost like a secret or something.
I can't help the feeling that they seriously think that just because of their location they will get a lot of "walk-ins".
On top of everything else ; they already have a negative rep among custies and potential custies. Saying you have 40 dancers when at most you have 10 or 12 turns guys off AND the gals they do have are not top of the line. Hustler, PEC (and I hate to say it ) - Scores have much better talent.
Their "extras" policy is suicidal. It's one thing not to want extras on the premises and to tell the dancers not to do them. That's fine. But if you're smart you keep that between mgt. and dancer so that custies will let their imaginations run a little bit wild and let themselves be enticed into the VIP. At this place, only idiots and total ignorami do NOT know how low mileage it is. So WHY would high-rollers
used to getting what they want ( for a price) at Scores , PEC or Hustler come here ? What is there to draw them ? Afaik and can see- NOTHING !
All the custie reviews I've seen to date have been decidedly negative and the WOM is even worse.
I would not bet a nickel on the long term prospects for this place.

I worked here at the beginning of July. Dead, dead, dead pretty much describes it, and I was unimpressed with the stage and VIP areas. They had one promotional night while I was there-they literally brought the "Cheetah's" bus to Wall Street to bring customers in. Decent money that night, but normally the money isn't there. However, in their favor, the staff is friendly and really helpful, and does their best to help you upsell to champagne...but without customers, it just doesn't work.

I stopped by tonight to audition. I was so0o nervous...and I didn't really know what to expect. The house mom had me fill out some paperwork and she took my headshot. I'm supposed to call them back on tuesday... seems a little strange to have to wait so long but w/e lol. I hope they hire me. The club was very pretty. But from the little that I saw of it it wasn't that busy. The girls that I saw looked like they'd made some money though... and it was only about 8:30. Wish me luck everybody!

The physical plant and non-dancing staff are fine and dandy BUT what is mgt doing to generate business ?

They had only one direction to go- UP. They are starting to draw BUT the "no-extras" policy was tossed afaik. You're still better off trying to get into Hustler IF they are hiring.

Thanks Eric! Yes... Hustler is going to be my first stop. Just looking for something to fall back on, especially since I havnt danced in a few years (I've been in the industry - but as a waitress not a dancer).
Going on some auditions tonight.

If anyone is working at Cheetas please let me know how it's going for you!

Basicly this club is very slow, there's no house fee and funny money on floor is 100% for dancers only but when you go to private room whether customer pay cash or funny money $500 fee the club takes 30% automaticly (20% club 10% host) so all you get is $350 even thou the customer pays addition room fee, this is recent & not permanent. The same goes for the booths 10min/20min/30min like the ones at Hustler but you get more of your money at Hustler and it cost less for the customer at Hustler. As all New Yorkers know because of the Scores lawsuits you can only charge a customer per hr. (scores $600, Penthouse $600, Hustler $500, Ricks $400) or you will get fired instantly at any of these clubs however I just have my customer tip me extra cash or with a lot more funny money and the host usually work with me cause he gets tip too. The staff at this club is very nice and the house mom is both mom & manager and does both hiring & firing. If you're elegant, attractive with a great body you will make money at this club slow or busy it's up to you to sell your self. Lots of girls got fired recently for drugs, drunk and negative attitude. Best of luck.

It was upsetting when my customer paid me $2,700 and all I got was $1,620, this wouldn't happen at the other clubs. Also you can only cash funny money on certain days and get checks another so this is something to consider if this club is worth it or not for you depending on your needs other than money.
