I'm deathly afraid of Clowns. Doesn't matter what kind they are. The only one that doesn't scare me is Pennywise (from Stephen King's "IT") from the movie, because it's Tim Curry. I have never been to the Circus, and never will go. I worked at a sandwich shop for a while, and a Circus came to town. We had 2 clowns in full costume come in. I hauled ass to the backroom and would not come out to wait on them. The other girl who was working with me... Also afraid of clowns. So we hid out until they left. LOL
Only other thing that scares me is Bees. It's because I'm severely allergic to them. Last time I got stung (which was '96 I think), I was in ICU for 2 days. So yeah, they don't like me, and I don't like them.

^I don't really like clowns either, but it's not exactly a fear. I'll just punch a clown in the face if he comes near me. Oh, and if he happens to be holding balloons? It's on. I very nearly got into a fight with a clown at some carnival that CORNERED me and tried to make me a balloon animal. I went insane, screaming obscenities. "I WILL FUCK YOU UP CLOWN BACK AWAY RIGHT NOW AND TAKE YOUR BALLOON ANIMALS WITH YOU BEFORE I SHOVE THEM UP YOUR ASS", that type of thing. My friends thought it was funny. I did not. Yeah. You should see me if we're at some restaurant or shop that tries to give my kids balloons. The wife has gotten pretty good at intercepting them before they get to us, heh.

Oo oo, thought of another one. Can't believe I forgot about this. I'm scared to DEATH of Chucky Cheese. To this day. On my little nieces birthday she wanted me to take her there. I couldn't do it and I had to explain to a 4 year old that her 18 year old autn was afraid of a man in a mouse suit....yikes

^^^ Yeah, come to think of it, I'm a little spooked by people in full-body costumes and especially masks. I don't like it when you can't see their eyes but they can see yours <heebeejeebees>. Though what's funny is I got a job at an amusement park this halloween being a character in a full-body black-out suit ("shadow demon" is my title, I believe). I'm excited about this because being on the other side of the mask is some kind of sick power trip.
I am terrified of vomit. Oh holy shit. I'm better than I used to be, but that isn't saying much, because I used to have completely debilitating panic attacks at the mere thought of even theorectical vomiting anywhere even remotely around me. Even these days, when someone near me is going to throw up, I run away. Like, I will drop everything and run, burning rubber. I would probably back myself off a cliff if a vomiting person was approaching me. If I CAN'T run, for whatever reason, I crouch down and cover my eyes and ears. This happened a few times at my first college, a very heavy greek school with tons of drunk undergrads. I lived on campus, and we had communal bathrooms. There'd be times when I'd be taking a shower and some drunk sorority girl would rush in an start puking in the nearby toilet. I would have to hunker down in the shower and hum to myself to cover the sound. Oh god oh god.
Incidentally, my fear of vomit is one of the underlying causes of my fear of intoxication and intoxicated people. People under the influence are more likely to hurl, period. I try to play it off as being a happy sober person into disciplined living and health, but the truth is that I am afraid that you'll get queasy from your ecstasy/acid/pot brownies/PBR and puke, and I will panic and possibly die.
I have a love/terror relationship with getting blood drawn, because it fascinates me and it's gory and crazy, but I turn white and shake and the nurse always gets worried.
I am afraid of big bugs, but not paralyzingly so. I am thankful to be a pretty girl in a state inhabited by large insects, because I know that almost any man will remove his shoe and throw it at the offending creature without me asking twice.
However, I love snakes (though I don't love getting bitten by them... it IS scary to see them strike and know that they're so fast that you're powerless against being bitten [I had a mean boa constrictor who bit me just about every day, even though I only wanted her to love me]) and bees; in fact, I like most small insects except cockroaches, but I can kill them without a problem. I also like heights and small spaces.
