her: mind if i ask you a question? BTW, i'm very nosy.

me: <puff..puff..puff>shoot<puff..puff> it's not like i'm going anywhere right now. the room is still spinning.

her: how many girls do you see a month?

me: <puff..puff..wheeze>ummm...3 or 4.<puff..puff..puff>

her: that's not bad at all. at least, you're not addicted. oh, can i get you something to drink? water, juice, soda, gatorade.

me:<double-take>LOL<cough..wheeze..puff..puff> no, but an oxygen tank would be nice.

i found her last comment funny because: (1) she offered me gatorade. (2) it occcured to me that i didn't include the number of strippers in that total. i wonder what she would have said if i did include that number? LOL. which bring me to my point. is this PC idea of "sexual addiction" so ingrained in the nation's gestalt. a perv now has a psychological disorder? does the poor decision-making and impulse control of a crash-n-burnt PL now require hundreds of hours of therapy? obviously, if you disagree. you're in denial. still, you guys might want to take this men's test (http://www.sexualrecovery.com/resources/selftests/gsast.php) for sexual addiction. now, i'm no psychiatrist (although, i do play amateur gynecologist in the sc). however, if you play around with this test. it does seem to be a bit loaded, IMO.

Test Results: You answered "Yes" to 5 questions.

Well, if a circumcision constitutes sexual abuse that would have been six. :O

Turns out five was plenty though. :rotfl:
LMAO!!

You have answered enough questions positively for sexual addiction to be an area of concern. We strongly encourage you to attend a 12 step support program like SAA, SA or SCA, and consider a consultation with a counselor or professional.

And I'm sure for 10% of my salary and regular attendance at the local cult meeting of my choice they can deliver me from evil.

Wow, it doesn't take much does it?

Test Results: You answered "Yes" to 4 questions.

I'm guessing this part has something to do with it:
Appointments can be arranged by phone or email (http://www.sexualrecovery.com/contact/) for an assessment (http://www.sexualrecovery.com/services/assessment.php).

Oh shit. I'm not even a dude.........

Test Results: You answered "Yes" to 17 questions.

In addition, you answered "Yes" to one or more questions that are of particular concern. These are:

Do your sexual encounters place you in danger of arrest for lewd conduct or public indecency?
Have you engaged in unsafe or "risky" sexual practices even though you knew it could cause you harm?
These questions are "red flags" to us; warning signs that the sexual addiction problem is of particular concern and should be treated as soon as possible.

You clearly have a problem with potentially self abusive and/or dangerous consequences. You should seek treatment with a trained professional (http://www.sexualrecovery.com/services/). Appointments can be arranged by phone or email (http://www.sexualrecovery.com/contact/) for an assessment (http://www.sexualrecovery.com/services/assessment.php). We also strongly encourage you to attend a 12 step support program (http://www.sexualrecovery.com/resources/12step.php) like SAA, SA or SCA. You may also want to read some of our articles in the "For You" section (http://www.sexualrecovery.com/resources/articles/#foryou) and consider purchasing one of the books listed below:

That site seems to have an agenda. They are telling everyone they have sexual problems or "red flags."

The ladies test is here. (http://www.sexualrecovery.com/resources/selftests/wsast.php) I scored higher, or "riskier" on the womens test than the mens. ::)

Wow, it doesn't take much does it?yeah, one is plenty to check yourself into a 12 step program.

Oh shit. I'm not even a dude. Test Results: You answered "Yes" to 17 questions.i'm a dude and you scored five points higher...LOL.

Yeah, I got 11 on the men's and 18 on the women's. Which makes NO sense in the context of my life, in which I know for damn sure that excessive sex is NOT a problem. However, I do notice that a lot of questions are "double" in a sense - like one incident or one series of incidents could result in like 5 "yes" answers.

People this obsessed with curing a problem are so filled with their agenda that I can't tell much difference between that and being obsessed with what they're trying to cure.

Oh my god, I only answered yes to one question. What the fuck is wrong with the rest of you crazy people?

Do your sexual encounters place you in danger of arrest for lewd conduct or public indecency? yes
Have you engaged in unsafe or "risky" sexual practices even though you knew it could cause you harm? yes

So I answered yes to 10 - thank god Kat is sicker than me!
9 on the chicks

What the fuck ever! These sort of tests are about making one feel shameful! Who declares what's right or wrong! And look at the questions!

And in the end, am I a dirty, nasty, sexual woman? YES! YES, and YES!

Oh, this is too funny. I scored 4. (I feel embarrassed I scored so low!) So I went back and resubmitted with various combinations. Even 1 "yes" is "of concern," meriting a talk with a trusted friend or family member. And if it's the wrong "yes", watch out Charlie!!

Pretty loaded questions. Meant of course to shame. And for this jack Catholic, shame still works wonders. For a while.

^^^exactly. Hit the test link again and then hit the names of the guys who submitted it. There's an actual term ..."sexual anorexia". These guys deal with sexual disorders, but this is bullshit if you ask me. You can't give these sort of general questions and make a "diagnosis". I have a very active, by no means ordinary sex life, which I percieve to be perfectly healthy. I don't fuck animals, dead people, relatives, or minors. So whatever I choose to do with my partner, them willingly, is A OK!

fuck it, I don't have the patience to answer all of these questions. I checked yes a bunch of times, then grew bored and decided to check out some porn. ;D
