No it's not. It's like getting into a fight, losing, falling down saying "Please stop hitting me, I'm staying down" and getting beaten to a bloody pulp anyway.
And that, my friend, is assault.
I love it when guys say that anyone who was not brutally attacked wasn't "really" raped. And I have my doubts that a woman that you describe would, in fact, laugh. In fact, in my experience, such women perfectly understand the violation inherent in acquaintance rape.
Final question - what kind of guy doesn't stop after you have withdrawn consent (i.e. told him to stop) if not a rapist?

I couldn't get to the link for the details of the situation, but I am certainly about to. It all matters on how everything happened, not what actually happened. (keep in mind, this is my opinion, not my interpretation of the law)
When I was in high school, I got drunk and proceeded to fool around with a boy at a party. We started having sex, and after a couple minutes he began holding my arms down very firmly. When i told him it hurt, he squeezed tighter. So I told him him we had to stop, he was hurting me... and I was scared. He kept going. He even put his hand around my neck as I laid there squirming and crying...He didn't stop until he was done. I cried all night and was left with bruises on both wrists, my neck, my thighs, and my shoulders. I didn't do anything about it.
Was this rape??? I don't think so, or I guess I would have taken more action, I dunno. But it would certainly be sexual assault. As well as being a cruel and scumbag thing to do.
Now I must find the details on the case

There are other nasty things women can do (indecent assault on a child) that are not rape. Rape is worse. Above teachers did the less bad things. Didn't go down for Stat rape. We're both right. :)

thank you! and as for the person who talked about the rape with the guy over the bed with the knife.. there are many different types of rape. maybe that girl would think that hers was more worthy of being classified as rape than a girl who gets something put in her drink and the guy has sex with her once she passes out. obviously there are different ways to rape someone.
