yeah I forgot sorry Kat.

Its much better to come in and go sit as far from the stage as possible. Scope out a dancer and then go up stageside one time only just to let her know shes really beautiful but you really aren't a strip club perv, just a guy who happened to run out of gas right in front of the club and is killing time waiting for AAA to show up with the gas can.

FBR

No, if you're going to go, by all means have fun. Tip, get dances, whatever you want....

Kat gets on her holy high-horse for a moment.not only that, but..

Sorry boys, but I would NEVER EVER EVER have dated a customer who spent enough time in an S.C. to have developed a roster of girls he might be banging. You can have one or the other, but not both.i think that's the sound of the candy store being locked and the key being drop kicked into the Atlantic.

Why should a woman, any woman, have to put up with dating a man she loves and cares about when he is the regular customer of multiple strippers? Too much risk and not enough respect.c'mon, those other women meant nothing. but hey, i understand. look, i'm not saying you should put up with it. i'm just saying it sucks for the guy. sure, he'll give them up, but that doesn't mean he's going to be initally enthusiastic about the decision. i'm just saying....

I guess I find it curious how much importance customers can place on wanting to believe that the dancer is sincere (not to be confused with "courteous" which is common practice in a business/customer relationship). We say it's a job, but like for example, when I talk to someone on the phone or in person in a business relationship, I really don't stress over or give second thought to how sincere they are. If I'm shopping for a car, don't care if the salesman sincerly likes me or is just being courteous. If I'm taking with a customer, I don't care if the customer is just being courteous or is sincere when he says nice to see you again. If I'm eating at a restaurant, I really don't care if my waitress is just being courteous, or is sincere when she says we look forward to seeing you again.

The big difference, I am not hoping to have a sexual relationship with these people. I'm not saying it's wrong to see a dancer in that way, I'm just saying hey, if you're a customer and you really see her as a potential date/fuck-buddy/serious-relationship versus a purely business relationship, at least be honest with oneself about what is going on in your brain and what is motivating you. If a customer can't be completely honest with himself, then I suspect he is not seeing the reality about what is going on in the dancer's head as clearly as he'd like to believe either.

On the flip side, once you see the customer/dancer relationship as more then just a business one, I think Kat makes a valid point. Chances are you've already started out the relationship on the wrong foot with a lot of dancers. They might be courteous, even kind of like your company, but it doesn't mean the customer is seeing clearly beyond that. He might still be thinking he has a chance , while the dancer is thinking he is a pleasant customer, but there is no chance in hell (or 1 in a billion) that it will be anything more then that.

p.s. Yea, I know, someone is going to say but, no it's just really important to me that she is sincere, but I really have no interest except to keep it business. As I said above, I sure don't feel that way about people I do pure business with; courtesy is expected, sincerity is not. I have my doubts that those guys are being completely honest with themselves about what is motivating them.

Lo, these many years ago, when I saw "my" dancer giving a lapdance to another guy, I realized how stupid it would be to get romantically attached to a dancer.

However, the waitress who smiles as she pours my coffee gets a bigger tip just for being nice. And so does the dancer who is pleasant as she dances for me. I do not expect, or want, either one to become attached to me just because I give them a good tip.

No, no, no. I'm not asking anyone to give up anything. I simply wouldn't put myself in that position to begin with.

And yes, one can date someone they met at the club that spent money on dances. But observe the looks, attitude, and physique of most regulars. It doesn't take a leap to understand why they aren't prime dating material. I mean, how many of them are even in a band??? :P

OK, I'll admit to being taken, middle aged and dumpy looking but I don't have a flock and I am er, um, was in a band....OK, it was twenty years ago...Whadya' think Kat? Do I have a shot????:-\

I'm middle aged, although not dumpy, but I think we have to be realistic. I've never seen Kat, but rumor is she is hot. I have a job (strike 1), I'm older then her (strike 2), and I am not a starving musician (strike 3), which means basically, I don't stand a chance in hell. The good thing is I know where I stand and don't stress over it ;)

I simply wouldn't put myself in that position to begin with.sure, i don't think many women (sc or otherwise) would knowingly put herself in that position to begin with either. of course, if women (or men) knew everything. no one would get away with cheating.

LOL...you know, it's a shame i didn't always apply his wisdom OTC.

Dude. Chick says she wouldn't date/fuck a guy in her club who had a roster of girls. How is this a contentious issue? Why, exactly, are you trying to convince her that she would?

biatch. WTF are you talking about? i didn't disagree nor am i trying to convince her of anything. in fact, i bestowed my patriarchal approval upon her actions. oh, i see. that's why you have a bug up your ass. which reminds me. how's that coup thing working out for you?

sure, but like i said, you can't tell them that. .

For most women its possible for them not to figure it out. But wouldn't you think a tenured stripper, such as me, Jenny, B, Nicolina...etc, would figure it out pretty quickly? I mean, how many nights in a row does it take for a man to come home with glitter in his hair and smelling of Warm Vanilla Sugar body spray?

I ate a diet consisting of mostly habenero peppers and shredded wheat for 3 days and held it all in until i saw her face. It was the romantic explosion of the century with just the right amount of blood mixed in.

Fortunately for me I don't have a problem with tawdry one night stands involving hot women from the deep south and the great white north....}:D8)

I'm not going to continue arguing with you. Just put yourself in a young woman's shoes for a second. Can you think back 80 years?

Never date players. Rule number one.

Number two is never acknowledge players.

Number 3 is if you date them or acknowledge come see me so I can kick you upside the head.

Lots of these women have alcohol or drug addictions.

Most of them have sex abuse stories, have self-esteem issues or have bipolar personalities. The ones who don't are single mothers. Be warned: dating a stripper is always drama.

Most of them are addicted to male attention and are egomaniacs and will expect to have all your unconditional attention 24/7.

People in this industry are generally flaky and unreliable and they are never punctual, so don't try to date them unless you are willing to cope with this.

If you have jealousy issues, don't bother dating a stripper. She was a stripper when you met her, don't try to change her.

Be careful what you ask for, you might just get it.

Strippers are there for money, if you don't got it, beat it.

replace 'stripper' with 'liar' and you have my ex-girlfriend

i'm never dating a girl who has a 'glass bottle and safety pin' story ever again.
