Today was a weird eating day for me because I barely ate anything. When I did eat I ate pure junk.
I had:
Coffee
Piece of carrot cake
Doritos
Ice Cream
Period's coming for sure lol

I posted about this diet a couple of months ago and hardly got any responses! I've been on it for like two months now and I've gone from 138 to 127.. Most of which I lost in the first week. I'd like to lose 10 more pounds, but I look good at this weight, so it's not really a priority. I'm down to taking oil 3 times a week, 2 tbs a day. How are you liking the diet?

Yeah, that's where I heard of the diet. I went e-shopping for the book after reading the thread and have lost about 15 pounds in 2 months myself. Would like to get off another 20.
The diet isn't too bad, it's pretty easy to stick to, though I never do enjoy taking the oil.

I have wayy too many fattie days I swear but um usuakky when I work ill eat less so today ive had a bowl of coco puffs and a snikers ice cream bar and now some jack daniels ooohhhh

1/3 of a diet Dr. Pepper
Udon noodles with mixed chinese veggies, shrimp, and spicy brown sauce. I did it myself. It took less than 10 minutes, had no grease or msg, and cost a hell of a lot less than FireBowl of the local Chinese greasy spoons. The udon was pre-cooked in a package, veggies frozen, cocktail shrimp pre-cooked and frozen. I know that fresh is absolutely the best option, but this works well with my time. Plus I'm not feeling very well today.
Salad with mixed greens, carrot shreds, cuc, tomato, grilled chicken, and my favorite sesame-honey dressing.
Now I want something else though, something fatty!

I was nibbling them after something else, so I was already full. Also, they were a bit rancid and as such not moreish.

Can anyone tell my personal trainer said to eat more spicy food? Damn best diet advice EVER.... yummy. :D

Hey flicky, I know the olive oil is good for your diet... but how good is it overall if you're not on that diet? You drinking it every day is tempting me. :)

The olive oil pretty much IS the diet, if we're talking Shangri La. You take it an hour after eating or drinking anything with a flavour, then don't have anything except water for one hour afterwards. It works as an appetite suppressant.
As for the no animal products/lots of vegies thing, that's unrelated to Shangri La. On Shangri La you eat your normal diet but most of the time crave much less of it.

French Roast Espresso w/ 2 Splenda packets and some choc. Silk
a handful of almonds
1/2 cup vanilla Silk to suck down vitamins
A big dark green salad w/ half red pepper, half tomato, 1/8 lb. smoked salmon, 1/2 cup feta cheese, tb. sppon or so of garlic hummus.
About three bottles of water.
One dk. Choc. Mint truffle.
1/2 cup vanilla Silk, Chai.
I think I need to eat some more.

Well here is what I usually eat daily:
* 8oz glass of water first thing in the morning to hydrate because sometimes we eat when we're actually thirsty.
Breakfast-2 eggs,2 slice wheat toast with jelly, cup milk
Snack-1 orange
Lunch- 1 slice wheat bread, couple slices deli turkey, cajun mustard,small bag chips
Snack-15 carrot stick with tablespoon ranch
Dinner-romaine salad or brocolli, chicken breast or fish fillet
Snack-banana
Try breaking your meals down to six small ones. This keeps you filled up and your metabolism up!

Awww, I was hella bad today. I woke up with absolutely insane cravings for pancakes so the hubby and me went to Denny's. I was only gonna get a short stack with no butter but . . . my eyes are always bigger than my tummy. I ended up ordering one of those mega breakfast, meat lovers omelette thingy. :-[
But, but, but! I made myself a very healthy dinner. Asparagus tossed in just a bit of olive oil, lots of salt and pepper, roasted to delicious perfection under the broiler. And some shrimp cooked the same way but with some Old Bay seasoning. Yay! Now, must stick with diet . . . .

4 McDonald's burgers
2 McDonalds's large fries
an Asian chicken salad
2 plates of fried rice
6 crab legs
2 plates of Mongolian BBQ (crab, mushrooms, onions, bean sprouts, and bok choi)
12 mussels in black bean sauce
3 egg rolls
1 piece of herbed white fish
1 helping of sauteed mushrooms (whole)
1 serving of melon slices
5 pieces of banana in strawberry sauce
1 scoop of chocolate pudding
3 helpings of ground beef in an Italian/tomato sauce
1 peanut butter cup brownie
I ate at Olives garden tonight and after reading this I think I'm actually hungry again.
