Victorias Secret bodysuits. And these ugly cut out onesies that look like aprons. When they take off the top part it always dangles between their legs. Sexy. NOT.

Has anyone noticed that leg wraps seem to be making a comeback?

Can’t say I have, but then again, I haven’t been to that many clubs lately as I do mostly privates.

Yes! At least in my club

Everyone and their mother is wearing these at my club, especially the ones in solid black, I think they're cute but I'd wear them outside of the club personally

I absolutely love the cut of those underwear, but to me something about wearing logo/branded gear at the club just seems tacky. Don't know if that's just a me thing, but I'd definitely avoid it myself.

I'm just grateful the popularity of anime hasn't resulted in loli wear being a norm in most strip bars.

I'm sure some girls can do it but most customers prefer the bedroom ready looks.

Anime is popular, but still only really popular within a niche and same goes for the loli look.... I'd say if anything with it is popular it is sexy cosplay in the club (also a niche and the costume can't be too obscure)
Older customers don't care for it and the customers I've met that do, either didn't spend much or didn't want to pay to nerd out with me

I LOVED neon in 2000's but halfway through the decade, it became all black at the clubs I'm in. You literally looked stupid in neon. I feel like it might come back now though. The 90's was all about neon and high rise bottoms and 90's are in vogue a little.

Does anyone know where you can still buy THE GOOD garters? All of the stripper stores in my area had become so cheaply made that everything is ill fitting. Esp. the garters which are so flimsy and CUT INTO thighs. Which is literally the worst look ever.

I've been on poshmark and etsy but afraid to buy anything bc some of the ones that look like the old (good) ones turn out Not to be.

Bridal shops tend to have very nice garters at a range of prices. Used to work at one and there were loads! I'd check a couple out if I were looking for quality.

Really? That's where you get your garters that you wear to the club? Bridal shops? Interesting! :). To each her own I guess.

They're easy to make out of elastic and Spandex, when I was a baby stripper I sewed my own.

Ah that's actually a good idea I may have to try that!

Most have a surprising range of styles. The place I worked at had over 100 different ones from super formal to straight up camo! My old roomie (dancer) used grab hers there.

I ADORE neon hahah. And all the exotic dancewear types of fits (like slingshots). I don't like the "if your girlfriend dressed up" look for the strip club on me personally. I like feeling like a performer, and something exotic they can't get outside of the club. :P So I wear neons or white with lots of bling or sequins, traditional stripper underwear cut (instead of the high waisted panties that are coming back), garters, long nails, the only thing I really go "neutral" with is my makeup. :) I always dress up even for day shift. I definitely feel like it makes me stand out in my area where most girls just wear lingerie from Victoria's Secret.

Has anyone seen the fishnet/mesh biker short trend that seems to be popular now? I can't decide how I feel about it. I might try it when I go back to the club but I think men (especially older ones) might find it confusing/complicated.

I'd probably wear something like this:

But not like this:

I have not seen fishnet shorts at my club in NOLA, but our clubs have to follow dress codes where your butt is covered on the floor, so that might be why.

As far as trends, I love the popularity of ankle and calf-height boots. When I started all the cool strippers wore platform slides held on by garters (or nothing at all) and that always felt so unstable to me. Like I was going to lose a shoe every time I did a spin.

I've been noticing more creative makeup looks in the strip club, especially gluing rhinestones to your eyelids. I wonder if Euphoria has had that much of an impact.

I love it and have been partaking. I've experimented with makeup and find that as long it's well done & you look hot men don't care if you wear less or more, so now I just do what I want and what makes me the most excited for work :P Honestly it makes me feel more like a performer too!
