That's a good question.
Anyone use Carol's Daughter products?
Check the reviews here on makeupalley. I sorted it by products the reviewers said they would most likely buy again.

for cleaning a pumice stone i wonder if using good ole standby peroxide would work? You use it to clean toothbrushes so it should get rid of any bacteria without leaving a harmful residue...

Okay, this may be a ridiculous question, but does one need to care for (re: sanitize) a pumice stone? I'm thinking not, cause it's, you know, a stone. But I don't really want to grind bacteria into my skin. When I used loofahs, I replaced them every few weeks. Do pumice stones last forever?
Scrub it with a manicure brush to cleane it..then spray it with sanitizer

Ladies, and especially Candice:
I'm a white gal---are there any modifications I should make to this routine? My skin's kind of sensitive (and I definitely get razor/wax irritation problems). Should I use the pumice or the exfoliator? A different kind of oil? Or does it matter?

Ooooh! I am dying to try this!!! I am fair skinned though, do you think it would work on me, minus the fade cream? Also, when you say you apply the lotion the same as the wash, do you mean with the pumice stone?
Thanks for posting this Candice! And I agree with the others, you are gorgeous!!!

I do not think anyone should use pumice on their facial skin EVER...

I had to revive this thread to thank CG for posting her method. When I finally got my procrastinating ass around to buying all the products- I tried this and my skin feels and looks much better!
Thanks Chocolate- if you are still around!

Hurray for this thread!!!!
One thing that has been bothering me lately:
I am of mixed race and my skin usually looks pretty even and caramel-colored. But since the winter has been coming around, I look YELLOW!!!! Ew. NE ways, I do not know how to get rid of this.... Any suggestions?
*I have been considering going to the tanning booth, but I haven't gotten up the nerve yet.
I am multiracial and I have lots of yellow undetones. I look sick if I don't have a tan. I use Jergens with spf 20 face self tanner and Summer Glow from Neutrogena with spf 20. Don't go to the tanning booth, you will look old very fast. I only tanned 5 times on a tanning booth but found out the risks now I use spf 20 everyday all over and if exposed longer to the sun or at the beach I use a spf 70.
I love the self tanners because they give me the golden glow. Also dab a little of MegaGlo illuminator from Wet n'Wild into your cheeks to give the final touch.

I started using this method and it's great! Although, for my particular skin, I made a few modifications. 1- I use Neutrogena Body Clear Body Scrub on the pumice first. Then I scrub with the Aveeno Positively radiant on the pumice. I get out of the shower, pat dry and apply Booths Lemon Sugar body lotion. (It appears to me that they all have the same active ingredients (alpha hydroxy acid etc) but they come in different scents) I apply Zapzyt (10% benzoyl peroxide) anywhere that I may possibly get a pimple (butt, back, chest, vajayay if I've shaved) Then I put Lustra (4% hydroquinone) on my knees and elbows. I repeat the process at night using a loofah in place of the pumice and using the Aveeno body lotion in place of the Booths. Thanks Candice! My skin looks and feels amazing!

^^ ^^ The OP hasn't logged on since 12/06, so I doubt she'll answer. Her kick-ass routine lives on, though!

I wish the Booth company would make a freaking website already. I would like to see a full product line. I've only tried 3 products but I love them all.

I think once a week is not often enough, I use sunless tanner, and you just have to do it more often using that stuff.
